| 1 [19:10] | Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qalaayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalathalayalin sawiyyan |  قال رب اجعل لي آية قال آيتك ألا تكلم الناس ثلاث ليال سوياقَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلاَّ تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلاَثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord!| اجعل - Make| لي - for me| آية - a sign."| قال - He said,| آيتك - "Your sign| ألا - (is) that not| تكلم - you will speak| الناس - (to) the people,| ثلاث - (for) three| ليال - nights| سويا - sound."| | ||||||
| 2 [19:17] | Faittakhathat min doonihim hijabanfaarsalna ilayha roohanafatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan | فاتخذت من دونهم حجابا فأرسلنا إليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فاتخذت - Then she took| من - from them| دونهم - from them| حجابا - a screen.| فأرسلنا - Then We sent| إليها - to her| روحنا - Our Spirit| فتمثل - then he assumed for her the likeness| لها - then he assumed for her the likeness| بشرا - (of) a man| سويا - well-proportioned.| | ||||||
| 3 [19:43] | Ya abati innee qad jaanee minaalAAilmi ma lam ya/tika faittabiAAnee ahdika siratansawiyyan | يا أبت إني قد جاءني من العلم ما لم يأتك فاتبعني أهدك صراطا سويا يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا | |||||
