| 1 [9:64] | Yahtharu almunafiqoona antunazzala AAalayhim sooratun tunabbi-ohum bima feequloobihim quli istahzi-oo inna Allaha mukhrijun matahtharoona |  يحذر المنافقون أن تنزل عليهم سورة تنبئهم بما في قلوبهم قل استهزئوا إن الله مخرج ما تحذرونيَحْذَرُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِم قُلِ اسْتَهْزِؤُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ | |||||

| 2 [9:86] | Wa-itha onzilat sooratun an aminoobiAllahi wajahidoo maAAa rasoolihi ista/thanakaoloo alttawli minhum waqaloo tharnanakun maAAa alqaAAideena | وإذا أنزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَجَاهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُواْ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أنزلت - was revealed| سورة - a Surah| أن - that;| آمنوا - believe| بالله - in Allah| وجاهدوا - and strive| مع - with| رسوله - His Messenger,| استأذنك - ask your permission| أولو - (the) men| الطول - (of) wealth| منهم - among them| وقالوا - and said,| ذرنا - "Leave us,| نكن - (to) be| مع - with| القاعدين - those who sit."| | ||||||
| 3 [9:124] | Wa-itha ma onzilat sooratunfaminhum man yaqoolu ayyukum zadat-hu hathihi eemananfaamma allatheena amanoo fazadat-humeemanan wahum yastabshiroona | وإذا ما أنزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذه إيمانا فأما الذين آمنوا فزادتهم إيمانا وهم يستبشرون وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَـذِهِ إِيمَانًا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَزَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And whenever| ما - And whenever| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah,| فمنهم - among them| من - (are some) who| يقول - say,| أيكم - "Which of you| زادته - (has) increased [it]| هذه - (by) this| إيمانا - (in) faith?"| فأما - As for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| فزادتهم - then it has increased them| إيمانا - (in) faith| وهم - and they| يستبشرون - rejoice.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:127] | Wa-itha ma onzilat sooratunnathara baAAduhum ila baAAdinhal yarakum min ahadin thumma insarafoo sarafaAllahu quloobahum bi-annahum qawmun la yafqahoona | وإذا ما أنزلت سورة نظر بعضهم إلى بعض هل يراكم من أحد ثم انصرفوا صرف الله قلوبهم بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ نَّظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ هَلْ يَرَاكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ ثُمَّ انصَرَفُواْ صَرَفَ اللّهُ قُلُوبَهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُون | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And whenever| ما - And whenever| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah,| نظر - look| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others,| هل - "Does| يراكم - see you| من - any| أحد - one?"| ثم - Then| انصرفوا - they turn away.| صرف - Allah has turned away| الله - Allah has turned away| قلوبهم - their hearts| بأنهم - because they| قوم - (are) a people| لا - not| يفقهون - they understand.| | ||||||
| 5 [24:1] | Sooratun anzalnaha wafaradnahawaanzalna feeha ayatin bayyinatinlaAAallakum tathakkaroona | سورة أنزلناها وفرضناها وأنزلنا فيها آيات بينات لعلكم تذكرون سُورَةٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنزَلْنَا فِيهَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |سورة - A Surah -| أنزلناها - We (have) sent it down| وفرضناها - and We (have) made it obligatory,| وأنزلنا - and We (have) revealed| فيها - therein| آيات - Verses| بينات - clear,| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 6 [47:20] | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoolawla nuzzilat sooratun fa-itha onzilat sooratun muhkamatunwathukira feeha alqitalu raayta allatheenafee quloobihim maradun yanthuroona ilayka natharaalmaghshiyyi AAalayhi mina almawti faawla lahum | ويقول الذين آمنوا لولا نزلت سورة فإذا أنزلت سورة محكمة وذكر فيها القتال رأيت الذين في قلوبهم مرض ينظرون إليك نظر المغشي عليه من الموت فأولى لهم وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَإِذَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَأَوْلَى لَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ويقول - And say| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| لولا - "Why not| نزلت - has been revealed| سورة - a Surah?"| فإذا - But when| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah| محكمة - precise| وذكر - and is mentioned| فيها - in it| القتال - the fighting,| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who,| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts,| مرض - (is) a disease| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you -| نظر - a look| المغشي - (of) one fainting| عليه - (of) one fainting| من - from| الموت - the death.| فأولى - But more appropriate| لهم - for them| | ||||||
