| 1 [2:32] | Qaloo subhanaka laAAilma lana illa ma AAallamtanainnaka anta alAAaleemu alhakeemu |  قالوا سبحانك لا علم لنا إلا ما علمتنا إنك أنت العليم الحكيمقَالُواْ سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلاَّ مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| لا - No| علم - knowledge| لنا - (is) for us| إلا - except| ما - what| علمتنا - You have taught us.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - You| العليم - (are) the All-Knowing,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:191] | Allatheena yathkuroona Allahaqiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihimwayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardirabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanakafaqina AAathaba alnnari | الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السماوات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا سبحانك فقنا عذاب النار الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يذكرون - remember| الله - Allah| قياما - standing,| وقعودا - and sitting| وعلى - and on| جنوبهم - their sides| ويتفكرون - and they reflect| في - on| خلق - (the) creation| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| ما - not| خلقت - You have created| هذا - this| باطلا - (in) vain.| سبحانك - Glory be to You,| فقنا - so save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:116] | Wa-ith qala Allahu yaAAeesa ibna maryama aanta qulta lilnnasiittakhithoonee waommiya ilahayni min dooni Allahiqala subhanaka ma yakoonu lee an aqoola malaysa lee bihaqqin in kuntu qultuhu faqad AAalimtahutaAAlamu ma fee nafsee wala aAAlamu ma feenafsika innaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi | وإذ قال الله يا عيسى ابن مريم أأنت قلت للناس اتخذوني وأمي إلهين من دون الله قال سبحانك ما يكون لي أن أقول ما ليس لي بحق إن كنت قلته فقد علمته تعلم ما في نفسي ولا أعلم ما في نفسك إنك أنت علام الغيوب وَإِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَـهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| الله - Allah,| يا - O| عيسى - "O Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam!| أأنت - Did you| قلت - say| للناس - to the people,| اتخذوني - "Take me| وأمي - and my mother| إلهين - (as) two gods| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah?"| قال - He said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| ما - Not| يكون - was| لي - for me| أن - that| أقول - I say| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - I| بحق - (had) right.| إن - If| كنت - I had| قلته - said it,| فقد - then surely| علمته - You would have known it.| تعلم - You know| ما - what| في - (is) in| نفسي - myself,| ولا - and not| أعلم - I know| ما - what| في - (is) in| نفسك - Yourself.| إنك - Indeed, You,| أنت - You| علام - (are) All-Knower| الغيوب - (of) the unseen.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:143] | Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineena | ولما جاء موسى لميقاتنا وكلمه ربه قال رب أرني أنظر إليك قال لن تراني ولكن انظر إلى الجبل فإن استقر مكانه فسوف تراني فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا وخر موسى صعقا فلما أفاق قال سبحانك تبت إليك وأنا أول المؤمنين وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاء - came| موسى - Musa| لميقاتنا - to Our appointed place| وكلمه - and spoke to him| ربه - his Lord,| قال - he said,| رب - "O my Lord!| أرني - Show me| أنظر - (that) I may look| إليك - at You."| قال - He said,| لن - "Never| تراني - you (can) see Me,| ولكن - but| انظر - look| إلى - at| الجبل - the mountain| فإن - [then] if| استقر - it remains| مكانه - in its place| فسوف - then| تراني - you (will) see Me."| فلما - But when| تجلى - revealed (His) Glory| ربه - his Lord| للجبل - to the mountain,| جعله - He made it| دكا - crumbled to dust| وخر - and fell down| موسى - Musa| صعقا - unconscious.| فلما - And when| أفاق - he recovered| قال - he said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| تبت - I turn (in repentance)| إليك - to you,| وأنا - and I am| أول - (the) first| المؤمنين - (of) the believers."| | ||||||
| 5 [10:10] | DaAAwahum feeha subhanakaallahumma watahiyyatuhum feeha salamunwaakhiru daAAwahum ani alhamdu lillahirabbi alAAalameena | دعواهم فيها سبحانك اللهم وتحيتهم فيها سلام وآخر دعواهم أن الحمد لله رب العالمين دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلاَمٌ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |دعواهم - Their prayer| فيها - therein| سبحانك - (will be), "Glory be to You,| اللهم - O Allah!"| وتحيتهم - And their greeting| فيها - therein (will be),| سلام - "Peace."| وآخر - And the last| دعواهم - (of) their call| أن - (will be) [that]| الحمد - "All the Praise be| لله - to Allah,| رب - Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds."| | ||||||
| 6 [21:87] | Watha alnnooni ith thahabamughadiban fathanna an lan naqdira AAalayhifanada fee alththulumatian la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inneekuntu mina alththalimeena | وذا النون إذ ذهب مغاضبا فظن أن لن نقدر عليه فنادى في الظلمات أن لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذا - And Dhun-Nun| النون - And Dhun-Nun| إذ - when| ذهب - he went| مغاضبا - (while) angry| فظن - and thought| أن - that| لن - never| نقدر - We would decree| عليه - upon him.| فنادى - Then he called| في - in| الظلمات - the darkness(es)| أن - that,| لا - "(There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| أنت - You,| سبحانك - Glory be to You!| إني - Indeed, [I]| كنت - I am| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 7 [24:16] | Walawla ith samiAAtumoohuqultum ma yakoonu lana an natakallama bihathasubhanaka hatha buhtanun AAatheemun | ولولا إذ سمعتموه قلتم ما يكون لنا أن نتكلم بهذا سبحانك هذا بهتان عظيم وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولولا - And why not,| إذ - when| سمعتموه - you heard it,| قلتم - you said,| ما - "Not| يكون - it is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نتكلم - we speak| بهذا - of this.| سبحانك - Glory be to You!| هذا - This| بهتان - (is) a slander| عظيم - great?"| | ||||||
| 8 [25:18] | Qaloo subhanaka ma kanayanbaghee lana an nattakhitha min doonika min awliyaawalakin mattaAAtahum waabaahum hattanasoo alththikra wakanoo qawman booran | قالوا سبحانك ما كان ينبغي لنا أن نتخذ من دونك من أولياء ولكن متعتهم وآباءهم حتى نسوا الذكر وكانوا قوما بورا قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنبَغِي لَنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّى نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| ما - Not| كان - it was proper| ينبغي - it was proper| لنا - for us| أن - that| نتخذ - we take| من - besides You| دونك - besides You| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| ولكن - But| متعتهم - You gave them comforts| وآباءهم - and their forefathers| حتى - until| نسوا - they forgot| الذكر - the Message| وكانوا - and became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 9 [34:41] | Qaloo subhanaka anta waliyyunamin doonihim bal kanoo yaAAbudoona aljinna aktharuhumbihim mu/minoona | قالوا سبحانك أنت ولينا من دونهم بل كانوا يعبدون الجن أكثرهم بهم مؤمنون قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِم بَلْ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ الْجِنَّ أَكْثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They will say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| أنت - You| ولينا - (are) our Protector,| من - not them.| دونهم - not them.| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they used| يعبدون - (to) worship| الجن - the jinn,| أكثرهم - most of them| بهم - in them| مؤمنون - (were) believers."| | ||||||
