| 1 [2:212] | Zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo alhayatualddunya wayaskharoona mina allatheena amanoowaallatheena ittaqaw fawqahum yawma alqiyamatiwaAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin |  زين للذين كفروا الحياة الدنيا ويسخرون من الذين آمنوا والذين اتقوا فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حسابزُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاللّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |زين - Beautified| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ويسخرون - and they ridicule| من - [of]| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| والذين - And those who| اتقوا - fear (Allah),| فوقهم - (they will be) above them| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| والله - And Allah| يرزق - provides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| بغير - without| حساب - measure.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:14] | Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbualshshahawati mina alnnisa-i waalbaneenawaalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabiwaalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waal-anAAamiwaalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayatialddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnualmaabi | زين للناس حب الشهوات من النساء والبنين والقناطير المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة والأنعام والحرث ذلك متاع الحياة الدنيا والله عنده حسن المآب زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ | |||||
| Words | |زين - Beautified| للناس - for mankind| حب - (is) love| الشهوات - (of) the (things they) desire -| من - of| النساء - [the] women| والبنين - and [the] sons| والقناطير - and [the] heaps| المقنطرة - [the] stored up| من - of| الذهب - [the] gold| والفضة - and [the] silver,| والخيل - and [the] horses| المسومة - [the] branded,| والأنعام - and [the] cattle| والحرث - and [the] tilled land.| ذلك - That| متاع - (is) provision| الحياة - (of) life| الدنيا - (of) the world| والله - but Allah -| عنده - with Him| حسن - (is an) excellent| المآب - [the] abode to return.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:122] | Awa man kana maytan faahyaynahuwajaAAalna lahu nooran yamshee bihi fee alnnasikaman mathaluhu fee alththulumatilaysa bikharijin minha kathalika zuyyinalilkafireena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona | أومن كان ميتا فأحييناه وجعلنا له نورا يمشي به في الناس كمن مثله في الظلمات ليس بخارج منها كذلك زين للكافرين ما كانوا يعملون أَوَ مَن كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أومن - Is (one) who| كان - was| ميتا - dead| فأحييناه - and We gave him life| وجعلنا - and We made| له - for him| نورا - light,| يمشي - he walks| به - whereby| في - among| الناس - the people,| كمن - like (one) who| مثله - [similar to him]| في - (is) in| الظلمات - the darknesses,| ليس - not| بخارج - he comes out| منها - of it?| كذلك - Thus| زين - is made fair-seeming| للكافرين - to the disbelievers| ما - what| كانوا - they were| يعملون - doing.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:137] | Wakathalika zayyana likatheerin minaalmushrikeena qatla awladihim shurakaohumliyurdoohum waliyalbisoo AAalayhim deenahum walaw shaa Allahuma faAAaloohu fatharhum wama yaftaroona | وكذلك زين لكثير من المشركين قتل أولادهم شركاؤهم ليردوهم وليلبسوا عليهم دينهم ولو شاء الله ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون وَكَذَلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلاَدِهِمْ شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And likewise| زين - made pleasing| لكثير - to many| من - of| المشركين - the polytheists -| قتل - (the) killing| أولادهم - (of) their children -| شركاؤهم - their partners -| ليردوهم - so that they may ruin them| وليلبسوا - and that they make confusing| عليهم - to them| دينهم - their religion.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| فعلوه - (would) they have done so.| فذرهم - So leave them| وما - and what| يفترون - they invent.| | ||||||
| 5 [8:48] | Wa-ith zayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum waqala la ghaliba lakumualyawma mina alnnasi wa-innee jarun lakumfalamma taraati alfi-atani nakasaAAala AAaqibayhi waqala innee baree-on minkum inneeara ma la tarawna innee akhafu AllahawaAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi | وإذ زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس وإني جار لكم فلما تراءت الفئتان نكص على عقبيه وقال إني بريء منكم إني أرى ما لا ترون إني أخاف الله والله شديد العقاب وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَى مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ اللّهَ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| زين - made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| وقال - and he said,| لا - "No (one)| غالب - (can) overcome| لكم - [to] you| اليوم - today| من - from| الناس - the people| وإني - and indeed, I am| جار - a neighbor| لكم - for you."| فلما - But when| تراءت - came in sight| الفئتان - the two forces| نكص - he turned away| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| وقال - and said,| إني - "Indeed, I am| بريء - free| منكم - of you.| إني - Indeed, I| أرى - see| ما - what| لا - not| ترون - you see,| إني - indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty."| | ||||||
| 6 [9:37] | Innama alnnasee-o ziyadatunfee alkufri yudallu bihi allatheena kafaroo yuhilloonahuAAaman wayuharrimoonahu AAaman liyuwati-ooAAiddata ma harrama Allahu fayuhillooma harrama Allahu zuyyina lahum soo-o aAAmalihimwaAllahu la yahdee alqawma alkafireena | إنما النسيء زيادة في الكفر يضل به الذين كفروا يحلونه عاما ويحرمونه عاما ليواطئوا عدة ما حرم الله فيحلوا ما حرم الله زين لهم سوء أعمالهم والله لا يهدي القوم الكافرين إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ يُضَلُّ بِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُحِلِّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا لِّيُوَاطِؤُواْ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ فَيُحِلُّواْ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ زُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ أَعْمَالِهِمْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Indeed,| النسيء - the postponing| زيادة - (is) an increase| في - in| الكفر - the disbelief,| يضل - are led astray| به - by it| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve.| يحلونه - They make it lawful| عاما - one year| ويحرمونه - and make it unlawful| عاما - (another) year,| ليواطئوا - to adjust| عدة - the number| ما - which| حرم - Allah has made unlawful| الله - Allah has made unlawful| فيحلوا - and making lawful| ما - what| حرم - Allah has made unlawful.| الله - Allah has made unlawful.| زين - Is made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| سوء - (the) evil| أعمالهم - (of) their deeds.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people -| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 7 [10:12] | Wa-itha massa al-insana alddurrudaAAana lijanbihi aw qaAAidan aw qa-imanfalamma kashafna AAanhu durrahu marra kaanlam yadAAuna ila durrin massahu kathalikazuyyina lilmusrifeena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona | وإذا مس الإنسان الضر دعانا لجنبه أو قاعدا أو قائما فلما كشفنا عنه ضره مر كأن لم يدعنا إلى ضر مسه كذلك زين للمسرفين ما كانوا يعملون وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَى ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مس - touches| الإنسان - the man| الضر - the affliction| دعانا - he calls Us,| لجنبه - (lying) on his side| أو - or| قاعدا - sitting| أو - or| قائما - standing.| فلما - But when| كشفنا - We remove| عنه - from him| ضره - his affliction| مر - he passes on| كأن - as if he| لم - (had) not| يدعنا - called Us| إلى - for| ضر - (the) affliction| مسه - (that) touched him.| كذلك - Thus| زين - (it) is made fair seeming| للمسرفين - to the extravagant| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 8 [13:33] | Afaman huwa qa-imun AAalakulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaqul sammoohum am tunabbi-oonahu bima la yaAAlamufee al-ardi am bithahirin minaalqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddooAAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min hadin | أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل سموهم أم تنبئونه بما لا يعلم في الأرض أم بظاهر من القول بل زين للذين كفروا مكرهم وصدوا عن السبيل ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَاهِرٍ مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Is then He Who| هو - (He)| قائم - (is) a Maintainer| على - of| كل - every| نفس - soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it has earned?| وجعلوا - Yet they ascribe| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners.| قل - Say,| سموهم - "Name them.| أم - Or| تنبئونه - (do) you inform Him| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - He knows| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| بظاهر - of the apparent| من - of| القول - the words?"| بل - Nay,| زين - (is) made fair-seeming| للذين - to those who| كفروا - disbelieve| مكرهم - their plotting,| وصدوا - and they are hindered| عن - from| السبيل - the Path.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - (by) Allah| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 9 [35:8] | Afaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi faraahuhasanan fa-inna Allaha yudillu man yashaowayahdee man yashao fala tathhab nafsukaAAalayhim hasaratin inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yasnaAAoona | أفمن زين له سوء عمله فرآه حسنا فإن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات إن الله عليم بما يصنعون أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who -| زين - is made fair-seeming| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed -| فرآه - so that he sees it| حسنا - (as) good?| فإن - For indeed,| الله - Allah| يضل - lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| فلا - So (let) not| تذهب - go out| نفسك - your soul| عليهم - for them| حسرات - (in) regrets.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يصنعون - they do.| | ||||||
| 10 [40:37] | Asbaba alssamawatifaattaliAAa ila ilahi moosa wa-inneelaathunnuhu kathiban wakathalikazuyyina lifirAAawna soo-o AAamalihi wasudda AAani alssabeeliwama kaydu firAAawna illa fee tababin | أسباب السماوات فأطلع إلى إله موسى وإني لأظنه كاذبا وكذلك زين لفرعون سوء عمله وصد عن السبيل وما كيد فرعون إلا في تباب أَسْبَابَ السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَى إِلَهِ مُوسَى وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِبًا وَكَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |أسباب - (The) ways| السماوات - (to) the heavens| فأطلع - so I may look| إلى - at| إله - (the) God| موسى - (of) Musa;| وإني - and indeed, I| لأظنه - [I] surely think him| كاذبا - (to be) a liar."| وكذلك - And thus| زين - was made fair-seeming| لفرعون - to Firaun| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed,| وصد - and he was averted| عن - from| السبيل - the way.| وما - And not| كيد - (was the) plot| فرعون - (of) Firaun| إلا - except| في - in| تباب - ruin.| | ||||||
| 11 [47:14] | Afaman kana AAala bayyinatinmin rabbihi kaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi waittabaAAooahwaahum | أفمن كان على بينة من ربه كمن زين له سوء عمله واتبعوا أهواءهم أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ | |||||
