| 1 [33:22] | Walamma raa almu/minoona al-ahzabaqaloo hatha ma waAAadana Allahuwarasooluhu wasadaqa Allahu warasooluhu wamazadahum illa eemanan watasleeman |  ولما رأى المؤمنون الأحزاب قالوا هذا ما وعدنا الله ورسوله وصدق الله ورسوله وما زادهم إلا إيمانا وتسليماوَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيْمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| رأى - saw| المؤمنون - the believers| الأحزاب - the confederates,| قالوا - they said,| هذا - "This| ما - (is) what| وعدنا - Allah promised us| الله - Allah promised us| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| وصدق - and Allah spoke the truth| الله - and Allah spoke the truth| ورسوله - and His Messenger."| وما - And not| زادهم - it increased them| إلا - except| إيمانا - (in) faith| وتسليما - and submission.| | ||||||
| 2 [35:42] | Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihimla-in jaahum natheerun layakoonunna ahda minihda al-omami falamma jaahum natheerunma zadahum illa nufooran | وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءهم نذير ليكونن أهدى من إحدى الأمم فلما جاءهم نذير ما زادهم إلا نفورا وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَى مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وأقسموا - And they swore| بالله - by Allah| جهد - (the) strongest| أيمانهم - (of) their oaths| لئن - that if| جاءهم - came to them| نذير - a warner,| ليكونن - surely, they would be| أهدى - more guided| من - than| إحدى - any| الأمم - (of) the nations.| فلما - But when| جاءهم - came to them| نذير - a warner,| ما - not| زادهم - it increased them| إلا - but| نفورا - (in) aversion,| | ||||||
| 3 [47:17] | Waallatheena ihtadaw zadahumhudan waatahum taqwahum | والذين اهتدوا زادهم هدى وآتاهم تقواهم وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| اهتدوا - accept guidance,| زادهم - He increases them| هدى - (in) guidance| وآتاهم - and gives them| تقواهم - their righteousness.| | ||||||
