| 1 [3:117] | Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihialhayati alddunya kamathali reehinfeeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamooanfusahum faahlakat-hu wama thalamahumu Allahuwalakin anfusahum yathlimoona |  مثل ما ينفقون في هذه الحياة الدنيا كمثل ريح فيها صر أصابت حرث قوم ظلموا أنفسهم فأهلكته وما ظلمهم الله ولكن أنفسهم يظلمونمَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - Example| ما - (of) what| ينفقون - they spend| في - in| هذه - this| الحياة - [the] life| الدنيا - (of) the world| كمثل - (is) like (the) example| ريح - (of) a wind| فيها - in it| صر - (is) frost,| أصابت - it struck| حرث - (the) harvest| قوم - (of) a people| ظلموا - who wronged| أنفسهم - themselves,| فأهلكته - then destroyed it.| وما - And not| ظلمهم - (has) wronged them| الله - Allah| ولكن - [and] but| أنفسهم - themselves| يظلمون - they wronged.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:22] | Huwa allathee yusayyirukum feealbarri waalbahri hatta ithakuntum fee alfulki wajarayna bihim bireehin tayyibatinwafarihoo biha jaat-ha reehunAAasifun wajaahumu almawju min kulli makaninwathannoo annahum oheeta bihimdaAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeenala-in anjaytana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena | هو الذي يسيركم في البر والبحر حتى إذا كنتم في الفلك وجرين بهم بريح طيبة وفرحوا بها جاءتها ريح عاصف وجاءهم الموج من كل مكان وظنوا أنهم أحيط بهم دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين لئن أنجيتنا من هذه لنكونن من الشاكرين هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُواْ بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُاْ اللّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ لَنَكُونَنِّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يسيركم - enables you to travel| في - in| البر - the land| والبحر - and the sea,| حتى - until,| إذا - when| كنتم - you are| في - in| الفلك - the ships| وجرين - and they sail| بهم - with them| بريح - with a wind| طيبة - good,| وفرحوا - and they rejoice| بها - therein| جاءتها - comes to it| ريح - a wind| عاصف - stormy,| وجاءهم - and comes to them| الموج - the waves| من - from| كل - every| مكان - place,| وظنوا - and they assume| أنهم - that they| أحيط - are surrounded| بهم - with them.| دعوا - They call| الله - Allah| مخلصين - sincerely| له - to Him| الدين - (in) the religion,| لئن - (saying), "If| أنجيتنا - You save us| من - from| هذه - this,| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - among| الشاكرين - the thankful."| | ||||||
| 3 [12:94] | Walamma fasalati alAAeeru qalaaboohum innee laajidu reeha yoosufa lawla antufannidooni | ولما فصلت العير قال أبوهم إني لأجد ريح يوسف لولا أن تفندون وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ الْعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمْ إِنِّي لَأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَ لَوْلاَ أَن تُفَنِّدُونِ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| فصلت - departed| العير - the caravan,| قال - their father said,| أبوهم - their father said,| إني - "Indeed, I| لأجد - [I] find| ريح - (the) smell| يوسف - (of) Yusuf,| لولا - if not| أن - that| تفندون - you think me weakened in mind."| | ||||||
| 4 [46:24] | Falamma raawhu AAaridanmustaqbila awdiyatihim qaloo hatha AAaridunmumtiruna bal huwa ma istaAAjaltum bihi reehunfeeha AAathabun aleemun | فلما رأوه عارضا مستقبل أوديتهم قالوا هذا عارض ممطرنا بل هو ما استعجلتم به ريح فيها عذاب أليم فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُم بِهِ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| رأوه - they saw it| عارضا - (as) a cloud| مستقبل - approaching| أوديتهم - their valleys,| قالوا - they said,| هذا - "This| عارض - (is) a cloud| ممطرنا - bringing us rain."| بل - Nay,| هو - it| ما - (is) what| استعجلتم - you were asking it to be hastened,| به - you were asking it to be hastened,| ريح - a wind| فيها - in it| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful,| | ||||||
