| 1 [2:87] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba waqaffayna min baAAdihi bialrrusuliwaatayna AAeesa ibna maryama albayyinatiwaayyadnahu biroohi alqudusi afakullama jaakumrasoolun bima la tahwa anfusukumuistakbartum fafareeqan kaththabtum wafareeqan taqtuloona |  ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب وقفينا من بعده بالرسل وآتينا عيسى ابن مريم البينات وأيدناه بروح القدس أفكلما جاءكم رسول بما لا تهوى أنفسكم استكبرتم ففريقا كذبتم وفريقا تقتلونوَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ بِالرُّسُلِ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقاً كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقاً تَقْتُلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Book| وقفينا - and We followed up| من - from| بعده - after him| بالرسل - with [the] Messengers.| وآتينا - And We gave| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - (the) son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| البينات - [the] clear signs| وأيدناه - and We supported him| بروح - (with)| القدس - the Holy Spirit.| أفكلما - Is it (not) so (that) whenever| جاءكم - came to you| رسول - a Messenger| بما - with what| لا - (does) not| تهوى - desire| أنفسكم - yourselves,| استكبرتم - you acted arrogantly?| ففريقا - So a party| كذبتم - you denied,| وفريقا - and a party| تقتلون - you kill(ed).| | ||||||
| 2 [2:101] | Walamma jaahum rasoolun minAAindi Allahi musaddiqun lima maAAahum nabathafareequn mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba kitabaAllahi waraa thuhoorihim kaannahum layaAAlamoona | ولما جاءهم رسول من عند الله مصدق لما معهم نبذ فريق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب كتاب الله وراء ظهورهم كأنهم لا يعلمون وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ كِتَابَ اللّهِ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - a Messenger| من - (of)| عند - from| الله - Allah| مصدق - confirming| لما - what| معهم - (was) with them,| نبذ - threw away| فريق - a party| من - of| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| كتاب - (the) Book| الله - (of) Allah| وراء - behind| ظهورهم - their backs| كأنهم - as if they| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:81] | Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa alnnabiyyeena lama ataytukummin kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakumrasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latu/minunna bihiwalatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtumAAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarnaqala faishhadoo waana maAAakum mina alshshahideena | وإذ أخذ الله ميثاق النبيين لما آتيتكم من كتاب وحكمة ثم جاءكم رسول مصدق لما معكم لتؤمنن به ولتنصرنه قال أأقررتم وأخذتم على ذلكم إصري قالوا أقررنا قال فاشهدوا وأنا معكم من الشاهدين وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ إِصْرِي قَالُواْ أَقْرَرْنَا قَالَ فَاشْهَدُواْ وَأَنَاْ مَعَكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذ - took| الله - Allah| ميثاق - covenant| النبيين - (of) the Prophets,| لما - "Certainly, whatever| آتيتكم - I (have) given you| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book| وحكمة - and wisdom| ثم - then| جاءكم - comes to you| رسول - a Messenger| مصدق - confirming| لما - that which| معكم - (is) with you,| لتؤمنن - you must believe| به - in him| ولتنصرنه - and you must help him."| قال - He said,| أأقررتم - "Do you affirm| وأخذتم - and take| على - on| ذلكم - that (condition)| إصري - My Covenant?"| قالوا - They said,| أقررنا - "We affirm."| قال - He said,| فاشهدوا - "Then bear witness,| وأنا - and I (am)| معكم - with you| من - among| الشاهدين - the witnesses."| | ||||||
| 4 [3:144] | Wama muhammadun illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afa-in mataaw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum wamanyanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allahashay-an wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena | وما محمد إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل أفإن مات أو قتل انقلبتم على أعقابكم ومن ينقلب على عقبيه فلن يضر الله شيئا وسيجزي الله الشاكرين وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَن يَضُرَّ اللّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيَجْزِي اللّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| محمد - (is) Muhammad -| إلا - except| رسول - a Messenger,| قد - certainly| خلت - passed away| من - from| قبله - before him| الرسل - [the] (other) Messengers.| أفإن - So if| مات - he died| أو - or| قتل - is slain| انقلبتم - will you turn back| على - on| أعقابكم - your heels?| ومن - And whoever| ينقلب - turns back| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| فلن - then never| يضر - will he harm| الله - Allah| شيئا - (in) anything.| وسيجزي - And will reward| الله - Allah| الشاكرين - the grateful ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:64] | Wama arsalna min rasoolin illaliyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfarooAllaha waistaghfara lahumu alrrasoolulawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheeman | وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا ليطاع بإذن الله ولو أنهم إذ ظلموا أنفسهم جاءوك فاستغفروا الله واستغفر لهم الرسول لوجدوا الله توابا رحيما وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآؤُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ اللّهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُواْ اللّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - any| رسول - Messenger| إلا - except| ليطاع - to be obeyed| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they,| إذ - when| ظلموا - they wronged| أنفسهم - themselves,| جاءوك - (had) come to you| فاستغفروا - and asked forgiveness| الله - (of) Allah,| واستغفر - and asked forgiveness| لهم - for them| الرسول - the Messenger,| لوجدوا - surely they would have found| الله - Allah| توابا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:157] | Waqawlihim inna qatalnaalmaseeha AAeesa ibna maryama rasoola Allahiwama qataloohu wama salaboohu walakinshubbiha lahum wa-inna allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi lafeeshakkin minhu ma lahum bihi min AAilmin illa ittibaAAaalththanni wama qataloohu yaqeenan | وقولهم إنا قتلنا المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولكن شبه لهم وإن الذين اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه ما لهم به من علم إلا اتباع الظن وما قتلوه يقينا وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاَّ اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وقولهم - And for their saying,| إنا - "Indeed, we| قتلنا - killed| المسيح - the Messiah,| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah."| وما - And not| قتلوه - they killed him| وما - and not| صلبوه - they crucified him| ولكن - but| شبه - it was made to appear (so)| لهم - to them.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| اختلفوا - differ| فيه - in it| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| منه - about it.| ما - Not| لهم - for them| به - about it| من - [of]| علم - (any) knowledge| إلا - except| اتباع - (the) following| الظن - (of) assumption.| وما - And not| قتلوه - they killed him,| يقينا - certainly.| | ||||||
| 7 [4:171] | Ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahiilla alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesaibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqahaila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo biAllahiwarusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahookhayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidunsubhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi wakafa biAllahiwakeelan | يا أهل الكتاب لا تغلوا في دينكم ولا تقولوا على الله إلا الحق إنما المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم وروح منه فآمنوا بالله ورسله ولا تقولوا ثلاثة انتهوا خيرا لكم إنما الله إله واحد سبحانه أن يكون له ولد له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وكفى بالله وكيلا يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقِّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ ثَلاَثَةٌ انتَهُواْ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ إِنَّمَا اللّهُ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أهل - O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| لا - (Do) not| تغلوا - commit excess| في - in| دينكم - your religion| ولا - and (do) not| تقولوا - say| على - about| الله - Allah| إلا - except| الحق - the truth.| إنما - Only| المسيح - the Messiah,| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| رسول - (was) a Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| وكلمته - and His word| ألقاها - which He conveyed| إلى - to| مريم - Maryam| وروح - and a spirit| منه - from Him.| فآمنوا - So believe| بالله - in Allah| ورسله - and His Messengers.| ولا - And (do) not| تقولوا - say,| ثلاثة - "Three;"| انتهوا - desist| خيرا - (it is) better| لكم - for you.| إنما - Only| الله - Allah| إله - (is) God| واحد - One.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| أن - That| يكون - He (should) have| له - for Him| ولد - a son.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| وكفى - And is sufficient| بالله - Allah| وكيلا - (as) a Disposer of affairs.| | ||||||
| 8 [5:70] | Laqad akhathna meethaqabanee isra-eela waarsalna ilayhim rusulan kullamajaahum rasoolun bima la tahwaanfusuhum fareeqan kaththaboo wafareeqan yaqtuloona | لقد أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل وأرسلنا إليهم رسلا كلما جاءهم رسول بما لا تهوى أنفسهم فريقا كذبوا وفريقا يقتلون لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلاً كُلَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| أخذنا - We took| ميثاق - a Covenant| بني - (from the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| وأرسلنا - and We sent| إليهم - to them| رسلا - Messengers.| كلما - Whenever| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - any Messenger| بما - with what| لا - not| تهوى - desired| أنفسهم - their souls,| فريقا - a group| كذبوا - they denied| وفريقا - and a group| يقتلون - they kill.| | ||||||
| 9 [5:75] | Ma almaseehu ibnu maryama illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu waommuhu siddeeqatunkana ya/kulani alttaAAamaonthur kayfa nubayyinu lahumu al-ayatithumma onthur anna yu/fakoona | ما المسيح ابن مريم إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل وأمه صديقة كانا يأكلان الطعام انظر كيف نبين لهم الآيات ثم انظر أنى يؤفكون مَّا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلاَنِ الطَّعَامَ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| المسيح - (is) the Messiah,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam| إلا - but| رسول - a Messenger,| قد - certainly| خلت - had passed| من - from| قبله - before him| الرسل - the Messengers.| وأمه - And his mother| صديقة - (was) truthful.| كانا - They both used to| يأكلان - eat| الطعام - [the] food.| انظر - See| كيف - how| نبين - We make clear| لهم - to them| الآيات - the Signs,| ثم - then| انظر - see| أنى - how| يؤفكون - they are deluded.| | ||||||
| 10 [7:61] | Qala ya qawmi laysa bee dalalatunwalakinnee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena | قال يا قوم ليس بي ضلالة ولكني رسول من رب العالمين قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِي ضَلاَلَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| ليس - There is not| بي - in me| ضلالة - error,| ولكني - but I am| رسول - a Messenger| من - from| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 11 [7:67] | Qala ya qawmi laysa bee safahatunwalakinnee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena | قال يا قوم ليس بي سفاهة ولكني رسول من رب العالمين قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِي سَفَاهَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| ليس - There is not| بي - in me| سفاهة - foolishness,| ولكني - but I am| رسول - a Messenger| من - from| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 12 [7:104] | Waqala moosa yafirAAawnu innee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena | وقال موسى يا فرعون إني رسول من رب العالمين وَقَالَ مُوسَى يَا فِرْعَوْنُ إِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| موسى - Musa,| يا - O| فرعون - "O Firaun!| إني - Indeed, I am| رسول - a Messenger| من - from| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds| | ||||||
| 13 [7:158] | Qul ya ayyuha alnnasuinnee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum jameeAAan allatheelahu mulku alssamawati waal-ardila ilaha illa huwa yuhyee wayumeetufaaminoo biAllahi warasoolihi alnnabiyyial-ommiyyi allathee yu/minu biAllahi wakalimatihiwaittabiAAoohu laAAallakum tahtadoona | قل يا أيها الناس إني رسول الله إليكم جميعا الذي له ملك السماوات والأرض لا إله إلا هو يحيي ويميت فآمنوا بالله ورسوله النبي الأمي الذي يؤمن بالله وكلماته واتبعوه لعلكم تهتدون قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعًا الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ الَّذِي يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَكَلِمَاتِهِ وَاتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أيها - "O| الناس - mankind!| إني - Indeed I am| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| إليكم - to you| جميعا - all,| الذي - the One| له - for Whom| ملك - (is the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| لا - (There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| هو - Him,| يحيي - He gives life| ويميت - and causes death.| فآمنوا - So believe| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| النبي - the Prophet,| الأمي - the unlettered| الذي - the one who| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| وكلماته - and His Words,| واتبعوه - and follow him| لعلكم - so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided."| | ||||||
| 14 [9:61] | Waminhumu allatheena yu/thoonaalnnabiyya wayaqooloona huwa othunun qul othunukhayrin lakum yu/minu biAllahi wayu/minulilmu/mineena warahmatun lillatheena amanoominkum waallatheena yu/thoona rasoola Allahilahum AAathabun aleemun | ومنهم الذين يؤذون النبي ويقولون هو أذن قل أذن خير لكم يؤمن بالله ويؤمن للمؤمنين ورحمة للذين آمنوا منكم والذين يؤذون رسول الله لهم عذاب أليم وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ النَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| الذين - (are) those who| يؤذون - hurt| النبي - the Prophet| ويقولون - and they say,| هو - "He is| أذن - (all) ear."| قل - Say,| أذن - "An ear| خير - (of) goodness| لكم - for you,| يؤمن - he believes| بالله - in Allah,| ويؤمن - and believes| للمؤمنين - the believers,| ورحمة - and (is) a mercy| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe| منكم - among you."| والذين - And those who| يؤذون - hurt| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 15 [9:81] | Fariha almukhallafoona bimaqAAadihimkhilafa rasooli Allahi wakarihoo an yujahidoobi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waqaloola tanfiroo fee alharri qul naru jahannamaashaddu harran law kanoo yafqahoona | فرح المخلفون بمقعدهم خلاف رسول الله وكرهوا أن يجاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم في سبيل الله وقالوا لا تنفروا في الحر قل نار جهنم أشد حرا لو كانوا يفقهون فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلاَفَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ وَكَرِهُواْ أَن يُجَاهِدُواْ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَالُواْ لاَ تَنفِرُواْ فِي الْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فرح - Rejoice| المخلفون - those who remained behind| بمقعدهم - in their staying| خلاف - behind| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah,| وكرهوا - and they disliked| أن - to| يجاهدوا - strive| بأموالهم - with their wealth| وأنفسهم - and their lives| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وقالوا - and they said,| لا - "(Do) not| تنفروا - go forth| في - in| الحر - the heat."| قل - Say,| نار - "(The) Fire| جهنم - (of) Hell| أشد - (is) more intense| حرا - (in) heat."| لو - If (only)| كانوا - they could| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
| 16 [9:120] | Ma kana li-ahli almadeenatiwaman hawlahum mina al-aAArabi an yatakhallafooAAan rasooli Allahi wala yarghaboo bi-anfusihimAAan nafsihi thalika bi-annahum la yuseebuhumthamaon wala nasabun walamakhmasatun fee sabeeli Allahi wala yataoonamawti-an yagheethu alkuffara walayanaloona min AAaduwwin naylan illa kutiba lahumbihi AAamalun salihun inna Allaha layudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena | ما كان لأهل المدينة ومن حولهم من الأعراب أن يتخلفوا عن رسول الله ولا يرغبوا بأنفسهم عن نفسه ذلك بأنهم لا يصيبهم ظمأ ولا نصب ولا مخمصة في سبيل الله ولا يطئون موطئا يغيظ الكفار ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح إن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُواْ عَن رَّسُولِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَرْغَبُواْ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ وَلاَ نَصَبٌ وَلاَ مَخْمَصَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَطَؤُونَ مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلاَ يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلاً إِلاَّ كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - it was| لأهل - (for) the people| المدينة - of the Madinah| ومن - and who| حولهم - were around them| من - of| الأعراب - the bedouins,| أن - that| يتخلفوا - they remain behind| عن - after| رسول - the Messenger| الله - of Allah,| ولا - and not| يرغبوا - they prefer| بأنفسهم - their lives| عن - to| نفسه - his life.| ذلك - That is| بأنهم - because [they]| لا - (does) not| يصيبهم - afflict them| ظمأ - thirst| ولا - and not| نصب - fatigue| ولا - and not| مخمصة - hunger| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and not| يطئون - they step| موطئا - any step| يغيظ - that angers| الكفار - the disbelievers| ولا - and not| ينالون - they inflict| من - on| عدو - an enemy| نيلا - an infliction| إلا - except| كتب - is recorded| لهم - for them| به - in it| عمل - (as) a deed| صالح - righteous.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يضيع - allow to be lost| أجر - the reward| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 17 [9:128] | Laqad jaakum rasoolun min anfusikumAAazeezun AAalayhi ma AAanittum hareesunAAalaykum bialmu/mineena raoofun raheemun | لقد جاءكم رسول من أنفسكم عزيز عليه ما عنتم حريص عليكم بالمؤمنين رءوف رحيم لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| جاءكم - (has) come to you| رسول - a Messenger| من - from| أنفسكم - yourselves.| عزيز - Grievous| عليه - to him| ما - (is) what| عنتم - you suffer,| حريص - (he is) concerned| عليكم - over you,| بالمؤمنين - to the believers| رءوف - (he is) kind| رحيم - (and) merciful.| | ||||||
| 18 [10:47] | Walikulli ommatin rasoolun fa-itha jaarasooluhum qudiya baynahum bialqisti wahum layuthlamoona | ولكل أمة رسول فإذا جاء رسولهم قضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمون وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ فَإِذَا جَاءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for every| أمة - nation| رسول - (is) a Messenger.| فإذا - So when| جاء - comes| رسولهم - their Messenger,| قضي - it will be judged| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - in justice,| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 19 [14:4] | Wama arsalna min rasoolin illabilisani qawmihi liyubayyina lahum fayudillu Allahuman yashao wayahdee man yashao wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu | وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا بلسان قومه ليبين لهم فيضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وهو العزيز الحكيم وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ فَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - any| رسول - Messenger| إلا - except| بلسان - with the language| قومه - (of) his people| ليبين - so that he might make clear| لهم - for them.| فيضل - Then Allah lets go astray| الله - Then Allah lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| وهو - And He| العزيز - (is) the All-Mighty,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 20 [15:11] | Wama ya/teehim min rasoolin illakanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | وما يأتيهم من رسول إلا كانوا به يستهزئون وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||
