| 1 [11:43] | Qala saawee ila jabalinyaAAsimunee mina alma-i qala la AAasimaalyawma min amri Allahi illa man rahima wahalabaynahuma almawju fakana mina almughraqeena |  قال سآوي إلى جبل يعصمني من الماء قال لا عاصم اليوم من أمر الله إلا من رحم وحال بينهما الموج فكان من المغرقينقَالَ سَآوِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ قَالَ لاَ عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللّهِ إِلاَّ مَن رَّحِمَ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| سآوي - "I will betake myself| إلى - to| جبل - a mountain,| يعصمني - (that) will save me| من - from| الماء - the water."| قال - He said,| لا - "(There is) no| عاصم - protector| اليوم - today| من - from| أمر - the Command of Allah| الله - the Command of Allah| إلا - except,| من - (on) whom| رحم - He has mercy."| وحال - And came| بينهما - (in) between them| الموج - the waves,| فكان - so he was| من - among| المغرقين - the drowned.| | ||||||
| 2 [11:119] | Illa man rahima rabbuka walithalikakhalaqahum watammat kalimatu rabbika laamlaanna jahannama minaaljinnati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena | إلا من رحم ربك ولذلك خلقهم وتمت كلمة ربك لأملأن جهنم من الجنة والناس أجمعين إِلاَّ مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ وَلِذَلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأََمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| من - (on) whom| رحم - your Lord has bestowed Mercy,| ربك - your Lord has bestowed Mercy,| ولذلك - and for that| خلقهم - He created them.| وتمت - And will be fulfilled| كلمة - (the) Word of your Lord,| ربك - (the) Word of your Lord,| لأملأن - "Surely I will fill| جهنم - Hell| من - with| الجنة - the Jinn| والناس - and the men| أجمعين - all together."| | ||||||
| 3 [12:53] | Wama obarri-o nafsee inna alnnafsalaammaratun bialssoo-i illa ma rahimarabbee inna rabbee ghafoorun raheemun | وما أبرئ نفسي إن النفس لأمارة بالسوء إلا ما رحم ربي إن ربي غفور رحيم وَمَا أُبَرِّىءُ نَفْسِي إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ إِلاَّ مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّي إِنَّ رَبِّي غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - "And not| أبرئ - I absolve| نفسي - myself.| إن - Indeed,| النفس - the soul| لأمارة - (is) a certain enjoiner| بالسوء - of evil,| إلا - unless| ما - [that]| رحم - bestows Mercy| ربي - my Lord.| إن - Indeed,| ربي - my Lord| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
