| 1 [10:54] | Walaw anna likulli nafsin thalamatma fee al-ardi laiftadat bihi waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba waqudiya baynahum bialqistiwahum la yuthlamoona |  ولو أن لكل نفس ظلمت ما في الأرض لافتدت به وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وقضي بينهم بالقسط وهم لا يظلمونوَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لاَفْتَدَتْ بِهِ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that| لكل - for every| نفس - soul| ظلمت - (that) wronged,| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth,| لافتدت - it (would) seek to ransom| به - with it,| وأسروا - and they (will) confide| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وقضي - But will be judged| بينهم - between them| بالقسط - in justice,| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - (be) wronged.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:35] | Thumma bada lahum min baAAdi maraawoo al-ayati layasjununnahu hatta heenin | ثم بدا لهم من بعد ما رأوا الآيات ليسجننه حتى حين ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا رَأَوُاْ الْآيَاتِ لَيَسْجُنُنَّهُ حَتَّى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بدا - (it) appeared| لهم - to them| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| رأوا - they had seen| الآيات - the signs,| ليسجننه - surely they should imprison him| حتى - until| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 3 [19:75] | Qul man kana fee alddalalatifalyamdud lahu alrrahmanu maddan hattaitha raaw ma yooAAadoona imma alAAathabawa-imma alssaAAata fasayaAAlamoona man huwasharrun makanan waadAAafu jundan | قل من كان في الضلالة فليمدد له الرحمن مدا حتى إذا رأوا ما يوعدون إما العذاب وإما الساعة فسيعلمون من هو شر مكانا وأضعف جندا قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِي الضَّلاَلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَنُ مَدًّا حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Whoever| كان - is| في - in| الضلالة - [the] error,| فليمدد - then surely will extend| له - for him| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| مدا - an extension,| حتى - until| إذا - when| رأوا - they see| ما - what| يوعدون - they were promised,| إما - either| العذاب - the punishment| وإما - or| الساعة - the Hour,| فسيعلمون - then they will know| من - who| هو - [he]| شر - (is) worst| مكانا - (in) position| وأضعف - and weaker| جندا - (in) forces."| | ||||||
| 4 [34:33] | Waqala allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo bal makru allayli waalnnahariith ta/muroonana an nakfura biAllahiwanajAAala lahu andadan waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba wajaAAalna al-aghlalafee aAAnaqi allatheena kafaroo hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloona | وقال الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا بل مكر الليل والنهار إذ تأمروننا أن نكفر بالله ونجعل له أندادا وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وجعلنا الأغلال في أعناق الذين كفروا هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَادًا وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| بل - "Nay,| مكر - (it was) a plot| الليل - (by) night| والنهار - and (by) day| إذ - when| تأمروننا - you were ordering us| أن - that| نكفر - we disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| ونجعل - and we set up| له - for Him| أندادا - equals."| وأسروا - But they will conceal| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وجعلنا - And We will put| الأغلال - shackles| في - on| أعناق - (the) necks| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved.| هل - Will| يجزون - they be recompensed| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do?| | ||||||
| 5 [37:14] | Wa-itha raaw ayatanyastaskhiroona | وإذا رأوا آية يستسخرون وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأوا - they see| آية - a Sign,| يستسخرون - they mock,| | ||||||
| 6 [40:84] | Falamma raaw ba/sana qalooamanna biAllahi wahdahuwakafarna bima kunna bihi mushrikeena | فلما رأوا بأسنا قالوا آمنا بالله وحده وكفرنا بما كنا به مشركين فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ وَكَفَرْنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِ مُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| رأوا - they saw| بأسنا - Our punishment| قالوا - they said,| آمنا - "We believe| بالله - in Allah| وحده - Alone| وكفرنا - and we disbelieve| بما - in what| كنا - we used to| به - with Him| مشركين - associate."| | ||||||
| 7 [40:85] | Falam yaku yanfaAAuhum eemanuhum lammaraaw ba/sana sunnata Allahi allatee qad khalat feeAAibadihi wakhasira hunalika alkafiroona | فلم يك ينفعهم إيمانهم لما رأوا بأسنا سنت الله التي قد خلت في عباده وخسر هنالك الكافرون فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمْ إِيْمَانُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا سُنَّتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي قَدْ خَلَتْ فِي عِبَادِهِ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلم - But did not| يك - But did not| ينفعهم - benefit them| إيمانهم - their faith| لما - when| رأوا - they saw| بأسنا - Our punishment.| سنت - (Such is the) Way| الله - (of) Allah| التي - which| قد - (has) indeed| خلت - preceded| في - among| عباده - His slaves.| وخسر - And are lost| هنالك - there| الكافرون - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 8 [42:44] | Waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min waliyyin min baAAdihi watara alththalimeenalamma raawoo alAAathaba yaqooloona hal ilamaraddin min sabeelin | ومن يضلل الله فما له من ولي من بعده وترى الظالمين لما رأوا العذاب يقولون هل إلى مرد من سبيل وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَى مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يضلل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| ولي - protector| من - after Him.| بعده - after Him.| وترى - And you will see| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment| يقولون - saying,| هل - "Is| إلى - (there) for| مرد - return| من - any| سبيل - way?"| | ||||||
| 9 [62:11] | Wa-itha raaw tijaratan awlahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qa-imanqul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijaratiwaAllahu khayru alrraziqeena | وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما قل ما عند الله خير من اللهو ومن التجارة والله خير الرازقين وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأوا - they saw| تجارة - a transaction| أو - or| لهوا - a sport,| انفضوا - they rushed| إليها - to it| وتركوك - and left you| قائما - standing.| قل - Say,| ما - "What| عند - (is) with| الله - Allah| خير - (is) better| من - than| اللهو - the sport| ومن - and from| التجارة - (any) transaction.| والله - And Allah| خير - (is the) Best| الرازقين - (of) the Providers."| | ||||||
| 10 [72:24] | Hatta itha raaw mayooAAadoona fasayaAAlamoona man adAAafu nasiranwaaqallu AAadadan | حتى إذا رأوا ما يوعدون فسيعلمون من أضعف ناصرا وأقل عددا حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا | |||||
| Words | |حتى - Until,| إذا - when| رأوا - they see| ما - what| يوعدون - they are promised,| فسيعلمون - then they will know| من - who| أضعف - (is) weaker| ناصرا - (in) helpers| وأقل - and fewer| عددا - (in) number.| | ||||||
