| 1 [2:17] | Mathaluhum kamathali allatheeistawqada naran falamma adaat ma hawlahuthahaba Allahu binoorihim watarakahum fee thulumatinla yubsiroona |  مثلهم كمثل الذي استوقد نارا فلما أضاءت ما حوله ذهب الله بنورهم وتركهم في ظلمات لا يبصرونمَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَاراً فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |مثلهم - Their example| كمثل - (is) like (the) example| الذي - (of) the one who| استوقد - kindled| نارا - a fire,| فلما - then, when| أضاءت - it illuminated| ما - what| حوله - (was) around him| ذهب - took away| الله - Allah| بنورهم - their light| وتركهم - and left them| في - in| ظلمات - darkness[es],| لا - (so) not| يبصرون - (do) they see.| | ||||||
| 2 [11:10] | Wala-in athaqnahu naAAmaabaAAda darraa massat-hu layaqoolanna thahabaalssayyi-atu AAannee innahu lafarihunfakhoorun | ولئن أذقناه نعماء بعد ضراء مسته ليقولن ذهب السيئات عني إنه لفرح فخور وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ نَعْمَاءَ بَعْدَ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ السَّيِّئَاتُ عَنِّي إِنَّهُ لَفَرِحٌ فَخُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - But if| أذقناه - We give him a taste| نعماء - (of) favor| بعد - after| ضراء - hardship| مسته - (has) touched him,| ليقولن - surely, he will say,| ذهب - "Have gone| السيئات - the evils| عني - from me."| إنه - Indeed, he| لفرح - (is) exultant| فخور - (and) boastful.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:74] | Falamma thahaba AAan ibraheemaalrrawAAu wajaat-hu albushra yujadilunafee qawmi lootin | فلما ذهب عن إبراهيم الروع وجاءته البشرى يجادلنا في قوم لوط فَلَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّوْعُ وَجَاءَتْهُ الْبُشْرَى يُجَادِلُنَا فِي قَوْمِ لُوطٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - And when| ذهب - (had) gone away| عن - from| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| الروع - the fright,| وجاءته - and had reached him| البشرى - the glad tidings,| يجادلنا - he argued with Us,| في - concerning| قوم - the people| لوط - of Lut.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:31] | Ola-ika lahum jannatu AAadnintajree min tahtihimu al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin wayalbasoonathiyaban khudran min sundusin wa-istabraqinmuttaki-eena feeha AAala al-ara-iki niAAma alththawabuwahasunat murtafaqan | أولئك لهم جنات عدن تجري من تحتهم الأنهار يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب ويلبسون ثيابا خضرا من سندس وإستبرق متكئين فيها على الأرائك نعم الثواب وحسنت مرتفقا أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِّن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those,| لهم - for them| جنات - (are) Gardens| عدن - of Eden,| تجري - flows| من - from| تحتهم - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| يحلون - They will be adorned| فيها - therein| من - [of] (with)| أساور - bracelets| من - of| ذهب - gold| ويلبسون - and will wear| ثيابا - garments,| خضرا - green,| من - of| سندس - fine silk| وإستبرق - and heavy brocade,| متكئين - reclining| فيها - therein| على - on| الأرائك - adorned couches.| نعم - Excellent| الثواب - (is) the reward,| وحسنت - and good| مرتفقا - (is) the resting place.| | ||||||
| 5 [21:87] | Watha alnnooni ith thahabamughadiban fathanna an lan naqdira AAalayhifanada fee alththulumatian la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inneekuntu mina alththalimeena | وذا النون إذ ذهب مغاضبا فظن أن لن نقدر عليه فنادى في الظلمات أن لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذا - And Dhun-Nun| النون - And Dhun-Nun| إذ - when| ذهب - he went| مغاضبا - (while) angry| فظن - and thought| أن - that| لن - never| نقدر - We would decree| عليه - upon him.| فنادى - Then he called| في - in| الظلمات - the darkness(es)| أن - that,| لا - "(There is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| أنت - You,| سبحانك - Glory be to You!| إني - Indeed, [I]| كنت - I am| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 6 [22:23] | Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin walu/lu-anwalibasuhum feeha hareerun | إن الله يدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب ولؤلؤا ولباسهم فيها حرير إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ | |||||

| 7 [33:19] | Ashihhatan AAalaykum fa-itha jaaalkhawfu raaytahum yanthuroona ilayka tadooruaAAyunuhum kaallathee yughsha AAalayhi minaalmawti fa-itha thahaba alkhawfu salaqookumbi-alsinatin hidadin ashihhatan AAalaalkhayri ola-ika lam yu/minoo faahbata AllahuaAAmalahum wakana thalika AAala Allahiyaseeran | أشحة عليكم فإذا جاء الخوف رأيتهم ينظرون إليك تدور أعينهم كالذي يغشى عليه من الموت فإذا ذهب الخوف سلقوكم بألسنة حداد أشحة على الخير أولئك لم يؤمنوا فأحبط الله أعمالهم وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ أُوْلَئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |أشحة - Miserly| عليكم - towards you.| فإذا - But when| جاء - comes| الخوف - the fear,| رأيتهم - you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you,| تدور - revolving| أعينهم - their eyes| كالذي - like one who| يغشى - faints| عليه - faints| من - from| الموت - [the] death.| فإذا - But when| ذهب - departs| الخوف - the fear,| سلقوكم - they smite you| بألسنة - with tongues| حداد - sharp| أشحة - miserly| على - towards| الخير - the good.| أولئك - Those -| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they have believed,| فأحبط - so Allah made worthless| الله - so Allah made worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds.| وكان - And is| ذلك - that| على - for| الله - Allah| يسيرا - easy.| | ||||||
| 8 [35:33] | Jannatu AAadnin yadkhuloonahayuhallawna feeha min asawira min thahabinwalu/lu-an walibasuhum feeha hareerun | جنات عدن يدخلونها يحلون فيها من أساور من ذهب ولؤلؤا ولباسهم فيها حرير جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |جنات - Gardens| عدن - (of) Eternity,| يدخلونها - they will enter them.| يحلون - They will be adorned| فيها - therein| من - with| أساور - bracelets| من - of| ذهب - gold| ولؤلؤا - and pearls,| ولباسهم - and their garments| فيها - therein| حرير - (will be of) silk.| | ||||||
| 9 [43:53] | Falawla olqiya AAalayhi aswiratun minthahabin aw jaa maAAahu almala-ikatumuqtarineena | فلولا ألقي عليه أسورة من ذهب أو جاء معه الملائكة مقترنين فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - Then why not| ألقي - are placed| عليه - on him| أسورة - bracelets| من - of| ذهب - gold| أو - or| جاء - come| معه - with him| الملائكة - the Angels| مقترنين - accompanying (him)?"| | ||||||
| 10 [43:71] | Yutafu AAalayhim bisihafinmin thahabin waakwabin wafeeha matashtaheehi al-anfusu watalaththu al-aAAyunu waantum feehakhalidoona | يطاف عليهم بصحاف من ذهب وأكواب وفيها ما تشتهيه الأنفس وتلذ الأعين وأنتم فيها خالدون يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يطاف - Will be circulated| عليهم - for them| بصحاف - plates| من - of| ذهب - gold| وأكواب - and cups.| وفيها - And therein| ما - (is) what| تشتهيه - desires| الأنفس - the souls| وتلذ - and delights| الأعين - the eyes,| وأنتم - and you| فيها - therein| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 11 [75:33] | Thumma thahaba ila ahlihiyatamatta | ثم ذهب إلى أهله يتمطى ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى | |||||
