| 1 [7:172] | Wa-ith akhatha rabbuka minbanee adama min thuhoorihim thurriyyatahumwaashhadahum AAala anfusihim alastu birabbikum qaloobala shahidna an taqooloo yawma alqiyamatiinna kunna AAan hatha ghafileena |  وإذ أخذ ربك من بني آدم من ظهورهم ذريتهم وأشهدهم على أنفسهم ألست بربكم قالوا بلى شهدنا أن تقولوا يوم القيامة إنا كنا عن هذا غافلينوَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِن بَنِي آدَمَ مِن ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُواْ بَلَى شَهِدْنَا أَن تَقُولُواْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذ - (was) taken| ربك - (by) your Lord| من - from| بني - (the) Children| آدم - (of) Adam -| من - from| ظهورهم - their loins -| ذريتهم - their descendants| وأشهدهم - and made them testify| على - over| أنفسهم - themselves,| ألست - "Am I not| بربكم - your Lord?"| قالوا - They said,| بلى - "Yes| شهدنا - we have testified."| أن - Lest| تقولوا - you say| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection,| إنا - "Indeed,| كنا - we were| عن - about| هذا - this| غافلين - unaware."| | ||||||
| 2 [36:41] | Waayatun lahum anna hamalnathurriyyatahum fee alfulki almashhooni | وآية لهم أنا حملنا ذريتهم في الفلك المشحون وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وآية - And a Sign| لهم - for them| أنا - (is) that| حملنا - We carried| ذريتهم - their offspring| في - in| الفلك - the ship| المشحون - laden.| | ||||||
| 3 [52:21] | Waallatheena amanoo waittabaAAat-humthurriyyatuhum bi-eemanin alhaqnabihim thurriyyatahum wama alatnahum minAAamalihim min shay-in kullu imri-in bima kasaba raheenun | والذين آمنوا واتبعتهم ذريتهم بإيمان ألحقنا بهم ذريتهم وما ألتناهم من عملهم من شيء كل امرئ بما كسب رهين وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيْمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| آمنوا - believed| واتبعتهم - and followed them| ذريتهم - their offspring| بإيمان - in faith,| ألحقنا - We will join| بهم - with them| ذريتهم - their offspring| وما - and not| ألتناهم - We will deprive them| من - of| عملهم - their deeds| من - (in) any| شيء - thing.| كل - Every| امرئ - person| بما - for what| كسب - he earned| رهين - (is) pledged.| | ||||||
