| 1 [8:60] | WaaAAiddoo lahum ma istataAAtummin quwwatin wamin ribati alkhayli turhiboona bihiAAaduwwa Allahi waAAaduwwakum waakhareena mindoonihim la taAAlamoonahumu Allahu yaAAlamuhum wamatunfiqoo min shay-in fee sabeeli Allahi yuwaffa ilaykumwaantum la tuthlamoona |  وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله وعدوكم وآخرين من دونهم لا تعلمونهم الله يعلمهم وما تنفقوا من شيء في سبيل الله يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمونوَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأعدوا - And prepare| لهم - for them| ما - whatever| استطعتم - you able (to)| من - of| قوة - force| ومن - and of| رباط - tethered| الخيل - horses| ترهبون - (to) terrify| به - therewith| عدو - (the) enemy| الله - (the) enemy,| وعدوكم - and your enemy| وآخرين - and others| من - from| دونهم - besides them,| لا - not| تعلمونهم - (do) you know them| الله - (but) Allah| يعلمهم - knows them.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - from| شيء - (any) thing| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| يوف - it will be fully repaid| إليكم - to you,| وأنتم - and you| لا - (will) not| تظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 2 [19:17] | Faittakhathat min doonihim hijabanfaarsalna ilayha roohanafatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan | فاتخذت من دونهم حجابا فأرسلنا إليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فاتخذت - Then she took| من - from them| دونهم - from them| حجابا - a screen.| فأرسلنا - Then We sent| إليها - to her| روحنا - Our Spirit| فتمثل - then he assumed for her the likeness| لها - then he assumed for her the likeness| بشرا - (of) a man| سويا - well-proportioned.| | ||||||
| 3 [28:23] | Walamma warada maa madyanawajada AAalayhi ommatan mina alnnasi yasqoonawawajada min doonihimu imraatayni tathoodani qalama khatbukuma qalata lanasqee hatta yusdira alrriAAaowaaboona shaykhun kabeerun | ولما ورد ماء مدين وجد عليه أمة من الناس يسقون ووجد من دونهم امرأتين تذودان قال ما خطبكما قالتا لا نسقي حتى يصدر الرعاء وأبونا شيخ كبير وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِي حَتَّى يُصْدِرَ الرِّعَاءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| ورد - he came| ماء - (to the) water| مدين - (of) Madyan,| وجد - he found| عليه - on it| أمة - a group| من - of| الناس - men| يسقون - watering,| ووجد - and he found| من - besides them| دونهم - besides them| امرأتين - two women| تذودان - keeping back.| قال - He said,| ما - "What| خطبكما - (is the) matter with both of you?"| قالتا - They said,| لا - "We cannot water| نسقي - "We cannot water| حتى - until| يصدر - take away| الرعاء - the shepherds;| وأبونا - and our father| شيخ - (is) a very old man."| كبير - (is) a very old man."| | ||||||
| 4 [34:41] | Qaloo subhanaka anta waliyyunamin doonihim bal kanoo yaAAbudoona aljinna aktharuhumbihim mu/minoona | قالوا سبحانك أنت ولينا من دونهم بل كانوا يعبدون الجن أكثرهم بهم مؤمنون قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِم بَلْ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ الْجِنَّ أَكْثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They will say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| أنت - You| ولينا - (are) our Protector,| من - not them.| دونهم - not them.| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they used| يعبدون - (to) worship| الجن - the jinn,| أكثرهم - most of them| بهم - in them| مؤمنون - (were) believers."| | ||||||
