| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:7] | In ahsantum ahsantumli-anfusikum wa-in asa/tum falaha fa-itha jaawaAAdu al-akhirati liyasoo-oo wujoohakum waliyadkhulooalmasjida kama dakhaloohu awwala marratin waliyutabbiroo maAAalaw tatbeeran
|  إن أحسنتم أحسنتم لأنفسكم وإن أسأتم فلها فإذا جاء وعد الآخرة ليسوءوا وجوهكم وليدخلوا المسجد كما دخلوه أول مرة وليتبروا ما علوا تتبيرا
إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوْاْ تَتْبِيرًا |
| Words | |إن - If| أحسنتم - you do good,| أحسنتم - you do good| لأنفسكم - for yourselves;| وإن - and if| أسأتم - you do evil,| فلها - then it is for it.| فإذا - So when| جاء - came| وعد - promise| الآخرة - the last,| ليسوءوا - to sadden| وجوهكم - your faces| وليدخلوا - and to enter| المسجد - the Masjid| كما - just as| دخلوه - they (had) entered it| أول - first| مرة - time,| وليتبروا - and to destroy| ما - what| علوا - they had conquered| تتبيرا - (with) destruction.| |
