| 1 [6:45] | FaqutiAAa dabiru alqawmi allatheenathalamoo waalhamdu lillahirabbi alAAalameena |  فقطع دابر القوم الذين ظلموا والحمد لله رب العالمينفَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فقطع - So was cut off| دابر - (the) remnant| القوم - (of) the people| الذين - [those] who| ظلموا - did wrong.| والحمد - And all praises and thanks| لله - (be) to Allah| رب - Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:72] | Faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu birahmatin minna waqataAAna dabiraallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawama kanoo mu/mineena | فأنجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وما كانوا مؤمنين فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأنجيناه - So We saved him| والذين - and those| معه - with him| برحمة - by Mercy| منا - from Us.| وقطعنا - And We cut off| دابر - the roots| الذين - (of) those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:7] | Wa-ith yaAAidukumu Allahu ihdaaltta-ifatayni annaha lakum watawaddoonaanna ghayra thati alshshawkati takoonu lakumwayureedu Allahu an yuhiqqa alhaqqa bikalimatihiwayaqtaAAa dabira alkafireena | وإذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين أنها لكم وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم ويريد الله أن يحق الحق بكلماته ويقطع دابر الكافرين وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يعدكم - promised you| الله - Allah| إحدى - one| الطائفتين - (of) the two groups -| أنها - that it (would be)| لكم - for you -| وتودون - and you wished| أن - that| غير - (one) other than| ذات - that| الشوكة - (of) the armed| تكون - would be| لكم - for you.| ويريد - But intended| الله - Allah| أن - to| يحق - justify| الحق - the truth| بكلماته - by His words,| ويقطع - and cut off| دابر - (the) roots| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers| | ||||||
| 4 [15:66] | Waqadayna ilayhi thalikaal-amra anna dabira haola-i maqtooAAunmusbiheena | وقضينا إليه ذلك الأمر أن دابر هؤلاء مقطوع مصبحين وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَؤُلاَءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقضينا - And We conveyed| إليه - to him| ذلك - [that]| الأمر - the matter| أن - that| دابر - (the) root| هؤلاء - (of) these| مقطوع - would be cut off| مصبحين - (by) early morning.| | ||||||
