| 1 [12:72] | Qaloo nafqidu suwaAAaalmaliki waliman jaa bihi himlu baAAeerin waanabihi zaAAeemun |  قالوا نفقد صواع الملك ولمن جاء به حمل بعير وأنا به زعيمقَالُواْ نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ وَلِمَن جَاءَ بِهِ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَاْ بِهِ زَعِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| نفقد - "We are missing| صواع - (the) cup| الملك - (of) the king.| ولمن - And for (one) who| جاء - brings| به - it,| حمل - (is) a load| بعير - (of) a camel,| وأنا - and I| به - for it| زعيم - (is) responsible."| | ||||||
| 2 [20:111] | WaAAanati alwujoohu lilhayyialqayyoomi waqad khaba man hamala thulman | وعنت الوجوه للحي القيوم وقد خاب من حمل ظلما وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْمًا | |||||
| Words | |وعنت - And (will be) humbled| الوجوه - the faces| للحي - before the Ever-Living,| القيوم - the Self-Subsisting.| وقد - And verily| خاب - will have failed| من - (he) who| حمل - carried| ظلما - wrongdoing.| | ||||||
| 3 [22:2] | Yawma tarawnaha tathhalu kullumurdiAAatin AAamma ardaAAat watadaAAukullu thati hamlin hamlaha wataraalnnasa sukara wama hum bisukarawalakinna AAathaba Allahi shadeedun | يوم ترونها تذهل كل مرضعة عما أرضعت وتضع كل ذات حمل حملها وترى الناس سكارى وما هم بسكارى ولكن عذاب الله شديد يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّا أَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَى وَمَا هُم بِسُكَارَى وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| ترونها - you will see it,| تذهل - will forget| كل - every| مرضعة - nursing mother| عما - that which| أرضعت - she was nursing,| وتضع - and will deliver| كل - every| ذات - pregnant woman| حمل - pregnant woman| حملها - her load,| وترى - and you will see| الناس - [the] mankind| سكارى - intoxicated,| وما - while not| هم - they| بسكارى - (are) intoxicated;| ولكن - but| عذاب - (the) punishment| الله - (of) Allah| شديد - (will be) severe.| | ||||||
| 4 [24:54] | Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAooalrrasoola fa-in tawallaw fa-innama AAalayhi mahummila waAAalaykum ma hummiltum wa-in tuteeAAoohutahtadoo wama AAala alrrasooli illaalbalaghu almubeena | قل أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول فإن تولوا فإنما عليه ما حمل وعليكم ما حملتم وإن تطيعوه تهتدوا وما على الرسول إلا البلاغ المبين قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُم مَّا حُمِّلْتُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أطيعوا - "Obey| الله - Allah| وأطيعوا - and obey| الرسول - the Messenger,| فإن - but if| تولوا - you turn away| فإنما - then only| عليه - upon him| ما - (is) what| حمل - (is) placed on him,| وعليكم - and on you| ما - (is) what| حملتم - (is) placed on you.| وإن - And if| تطيعوه - you obey him,| تهتدوا - you will be guided.| وما - And not| على - (is) on| الرسول - the Messenger| إلا - except| البلاغ - the conveyance| المبين - [the] clear."| | ||||||
| 5 [65:6] | Askinoohunna min haythu sakantum minwujdikum wala tudarroohunna litudayyiqooAAalayhinna wa-in kunna olati hamlin faanfiqooAAalayhinna hatta yadaAAna hamlahunnafa-in ardaAAna lakum faatoohunna ojoorahunnawa/tamiroo baynakum bimaAAroofin wa-in taAAasartum fasaturdiAAulahu okhra | أسكنوهن من حيث سكنتم من وجدكم ولا تضاروهن لتضيقوا عليهن وإن كن أولات حمل فأنفقوا عليهن حتى يضعن حملهن فإن أرضعن لكم فآتوهن أجورهن وأتمروا بينكم بمعروف وإن تعاسرتم فسترضع له أخرى أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَارُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ وَإِن كُنَّ أُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَأْتَمِرُوا بَيْنَكُم بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَإِن تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ أُخْرَى | |||||
| Words | |أسكنوهن - Lodge them| من - from| حيث - where| سكنتم - you dwell,| من - (out) of| وجدكم - your means| ولا - and (do) not| تضاروهن - harm them| لتضيقوا - to distress| عليهن - [on] them.| وإن - And if| كن - they are| أولات - those (who are)| حمل - pregnant,| فأنفقوا - then spend| عليهن - on them| حتى - until| يضعن - they deliver| حملهن - their burden.| فإن - Then if| أرضعن - they suckle| لكم - for you,| فآتوهن - then give them| أجورهن - their payment,| وأتمروا - and consult| بينكم - among yourselves| بمعروف - with kindness,| وإن - but if| تعاسرتم - you disagree,| فسترضع - then may suckle| له - for him| أخرى - another (women).| | ||||||
