| 1 [2:272] | Laysa AAalayka hudahum walakinnaAllaha yahdee man yashao wama tunfiqoo minkhayrin fali-anfusikum wama tunfiqoona illa ibtighaawajhi Allahi wama tunfiqoo min khayrin yuwaffailaykum waantum la tuthlamoona |  ليس عليك هداهم ولكن الله يهدي من يشاء وما تنفقوا من خير فلأنفسكم وما تنفقون إلا ابتغاء وجه الله وما تنفقوا من خير يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمونلَّيْسَ عَلَيْكَ هُدَاهُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللّهِ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليس - Not| عليك - on you| هداهم - (is) their guidance| ولكن - [and] but| الله - Allah| يهدي - guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - of| خير - good| فلأنفسكم - then it is for yourself,| وما - and not| تنفقون - you spend| إلا - except| ابتغاء - seeking| وجه - (the) face| الله - (of) Allah.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - of| خير - good,| يوف - will be repaid in full| إليكم - to you| وأنتم - and you| لا - (will) not| تظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:273] | Lilfuqara-i allatheena ohsiroofee sabeeli Allahi la yastateeAAoona darbanfee al-ardi yahsabuhumu aljahilu aghniyaamina alttaAAaffufi taAArifuhum biseemahum layas-aloona alnnasa ilhafan wamatunfiqoo min khayrin fa-inna Allaha bihi AAaleemun | للفقراء الذين أحصروا في سبيل الله لا يستطيعون ضربا في الأرض يحسبهم الجاهل أغنياء من التعفف تعرفهم بسيماهم لا يسألون الناس إلحافا وما تنفقوا من خير فإن الله به عليم لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الَّذِينَ أُحصِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْبًا فِي الأَرْضِ يَحْسَبُهُمُ الْجَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَاءَ مِنَ التَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُهُم بِسِيمَاهُمْ لاَ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ إِلْحَافًا وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |للفقراء - For the poor,| الذين - those who| أحصروا - are wrapped up| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| لا - not| يستطيعون - they are able| ضربا - (to) move about| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| يحسبهم - Think (about) them,| الجاهل - the ignorant one,| أغنياء - (that they are) self-sufficient| من - (because) of| التعفف - (their) restraint,| تعرفهم - you recognize them| بسيماهم - by their mark.| لا - Not| يسألون - (do) they ask| الناس - the people| إلحافا - with importunity.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - of| خير - good,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| به - of it| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:92] | Lan tanaloo albirra hattatunfiqoo mimma tuhibboona wama tunfiqoo minshay-in fa-inna Allaha bihi AAaleemun | لن تنالوا البر حتى تنفقوا مما تحبون وما تنفقوا من شيء فإن الله به عليم لَن تَنَالُواْ الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لن - Never| تنالوا - will you attain| البر - [the] righteousness| حتى - until| تنفقوا - you spend| مما - from what| تحبون - you love.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - of| شيء - a thing| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| به - of it| عليم - (is) All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:60] | WaaAAiddoo lahum ma istataAAtummin quwwatin wamin ribati alkhayli turhiboona bihiAAaduwwa Allahi waAAaduwwakum waakhareena mindoonihim la taAAlamoonahumu Allahu yaAAlamuhum wamatunfiqoo min shay-in fee sabeeli Allahi yuwaffa ilaykumwaantum la tuthlamoona | وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله وعدوكم وآخرين من دونهم لا تعلمونهم الله يعلمهم وما تنفقوا من شيء في سبيل الله يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمون وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأعدوا - And prepare| لهم - for them| ما - whatever| استطعتم - you able (to)| من - of| قوة - force| ومن - and of| رباط - tethered| الخيل - horses| ترهبون - (to) terrify| به - therewith| عدو - (the) enemy| الله - (the) enemy,| وعدوكم - and your enemy| وآخرين - and others| من - from| دونهم - besides them,| لا - not| تعلمونهم - (do) you know them| الله - (but) Allah| يعلمهم - knows them.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - from| شيء - (any) thing| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| يوف - it will be fully repaid| إليكم - to you,| وأنتم - and you| لا - (will) not| تظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 5 [57:10] | Wama lakum alla tunfiqoo feesabeeli Allahi walillahi meerathu alssamawatiwaal-ardi la yastawee minkum man anfaqa minqabli alfathi waqatala ola-ika aAAthamudarajatan mina allatheena anfaqoo min baAAdu waqataloowakullan waAAada Allahu alhusna waAllahubima taAAmaloona khabeerun | وما لكم ألا تنفقوا في سبيل الله ولله ميراث السماوات والأرض لا يستوي منكم من أنفق من قبل الفتح وقاتل أولئك أعظم درجة من الذين أنفقوا من بعد وقاتلوا وكلا وعد الله الحسنى والله بما تعملون خبير وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِي مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَ أُوْلَئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا مِن بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوا وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| لكم - (is) for you| ألا - that not| تنفقوا - you spend| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah?| ولله - while for Allah| ميراث - (is the) heritage| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| لا - Not| يستوي - are equal| منكم - among you| من - (those) who| أنفق - spent| من - before| قبل - before| الفتح - the victory| وقاتل - and fought.| أولئك - Those| أعظم - (are) greater| درجة - (in) degree| من - than| الذين - those who| أنفقوا - spent| من - afterwards| بعد - afterwards| وقاتلوا - and fought.| وكلا - But to all,| وعد - Allah has promised| الله - Allah has promised| الحسنى - the best.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 6 [63:7] | Humu allatheena yaqooloona latunfiqoo AAala man AAinda rasooli Allahi hattayanfaddoo walillahi khaza-inu alssamawatiwaal-ardi walakinna almunafiqeena layafqahoona | هم الذين يقولون لا تنفقوا على من عند رسول الله حتى ينفضوا ولله خزائن السماوات والأرض ولكن المنافقين لا يفقهون هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَى مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَنفَضُّوا وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هم - They| الذين - (are) those who| يقولون - say,| لا - "(Do) not| تنفقوا - spend| على - on| من - (those) who| عند - (are) with| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| حتى - until| ينفضوا - they disband."| ولله - And for Allah| خزائن - (are the) treasures| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ولكن - but| المنافقين - the hypocrites| لا - (do) not| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
