| 1 [2:216] | Kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalu wahuwakurhun lakum waAAasa an takrahoo shay-an wahuwa khayrunlakum waAAasa an tuhibboo shay-an wahuwa sharrunlakum waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum lataAAlamoona |  كتب عليكم القتال وهو كره لكم وعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا وهو خير لكم وعسى أن تحبوا شيئا وهو شر لكم والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمونكُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 2 [4:19] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yahillu lakum an tarithoo alnnisaakarhan wala taAAduloohunna litathhaboobibaAAdi ma ataytumoohunna illa anya/teena bifahishatin mubayyinatin waAAashiroohunnabialmaAAroofi fa-in karihtumoohunna faAAasa antakrahoo shay-an wayajAAala Allahu feehi khayran katheeran | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يحل لكم أن ترثوا النساء كرها ولا تعضلوهن لتذهبوا ببعض ما آتيتموهن إلا أن يأتين بفاحشة مبينة وعاشروهن بالمعروف فإن كرهتموهن فعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا ويجعل الله فيه خيرا كثيرا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَرِثُواْ النِّسَاءَ كَرْهًا وَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُواْ بِبَعْضِ مَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ إِلاَّ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِن كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - Not| يحل - (is) lawful| لكم - for you| أن - that| ترثوا - you inherit| النساء - the women| كرها - (by) force.| ولا - And not| تعضلوهن - you constraint them| لتذهبوا - so that you may take| ببعض - a part| ما - (of) what| آتيتموهن - you have given them| إلا - except| أن - that| يأتين - they commit| بفاحشة - immorality| مبينة - open.| وعاشروهن - And live with them| بالمعروف - in kindness.| فإن - But if| كرهتموهن - you dislike them,| فعسى - then perhaps| أن - that| تكرهوا - you dislike| شيئا - a thing| ويجعل - and has placed| الله - Allah| فيه - in it| خيرا - good| كثيرا - much.| | ||||||
| 3 [24:33] | WalyastaAAfifi allatheena layajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahumin fadlihi waallatheena yabtaghoona alkitabamimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum inAAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahiallathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikumAAala albigha-i in aradna tahassunanlitabtaghoo AAarada alhayati alddunyawaman yukrihhunna fa-inna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinnaghafoorun raheemun | وليستعفف الذين لا يجدون نكاحا حتى يغنيهم الله من فضله والذين يبتغون الكتاب مما ملكت أيمانكم فكاتبوهم إن علمتم فيهم خيرا وآتوهم من مال الله الذي آتاكم ولا تكرهوا فتياتكم على البغاء إن أردن تحصنا لتبتغوا عرض الحياة الدنيا ومن يكرههن فإن الله من بعد إكراههن غفور رحيم وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّى يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا وَآتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِن بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وليستعفف - And let be chaste| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يجدون - find| نكاحا - (means for) marriage| حتى - until| يغنيهم - Allah enriches them| الله - Allah enriches them| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| والذين - And those who| يبتغون - seek| الكتاب - the writing| مما - from (those) whom| ملكت - possess| أيمانكم - your right hands,| فكاتبوهم - then give them (the) writing| إن - if| علمتم - you know| فيهم - in them| خيرا - any good| وآتوهم - and give them| من - from| مال - the wealth of Allah| الله - the wealth of Allah| الذي - which| آتاكم - He has given you.| ولا - And (do) not| تكرهوا - compel| فتياتكم - your slave girls| على - to| البغاء - [the] prostitution,| إن - if| أردن - they desire| تحصنا - chastity| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| عرض - temporary gain| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ومن - And whoever| يكرههن - compels them,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| من - after| بعد - after| إكراههن - their compulsion| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
