| 1 [2:22] | Allathee jaAAala lakumu al-ardafirashan waalssamaa binaan waanzalamina alssama-i maan faakhraja bihi mina alththamaratirizqan lakum fala tajAAaloo lillahi andadanwaantum taAAlamoona |  الذي جعل لكم الأرض فراشا والسماء بناء وأنزل من السماء ماء فأخرج به من الثمرات رزقا لكم فلا تجعلوا لله أندادا وأنتم تعلمونالَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ فِرَاشاً وَّالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاءً وَّأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقاً لَّكُمْ فَلاَ تَجْعَلُواْ لِلّهِ أَندَاداً وَّأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذي - The One Who| جعل - made| لكم - for you| الأرض - the earth| فراشا - a resting place| والسماء - and the sky| بناء - a canopy,| وأنزل - and sent down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| فأخرج - then brought forth| به - therewith| من - [of]| الثمرات - the fruits| رزقا - (as) provision| لكم - for you.| فلا - So (do) not| تجعلوا - set up| لله - to Allah| أندادا - rivals| وأنتم - while you| تعلمون - [you] know.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:30] | Wa-ith qala rabbuka lilmala-ikatiinnee jaAAilun fee al-ardi khaleefatan qalooatajAAalu feeha man yufsidu feeha wayasfiku alddimaawanahnu nusabbihu bihamdika wanuqaddisu lakaqala innee aAAlamu ma la taAAlamoona | وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة قالوا أتجعل فيها من يفسد فيها ويسفك الدماء ونحن نسبح بحمدك ونقدس لك قال إني أعلم ما لا تعلمون وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُواْ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُّفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| ربك - your Lord| للملائكة - to the angels,| إني - "Indeed, I (am)| جاعل - going to place| في - in| الأرض - the earth| خليفة - a vicegerent,| قالوا - they said,| أتجعل - "Will You place| فيها - in it| من - (one) who| يفسد - will spread corruption| فيها - in it| ويسفك - and will shed| الدماء - [the] blood[s],| ونحن - while we,| نسبح - [we] glorify (You)| بحمدك - with Your praises| ونقدس - and we sanctify| لك - [to] You."| قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:42] | Wala talbisoo alhaqqa bialbatiliwataktumoo alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona | ولا تلبسوا الحق بالباطل وتكتموا الحق وأنتم تعلمون وَلاَ تَلْبِسُواْ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُواْ الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تلبسوا - mix| الحق - the Truth| بالباطل - with [the] falsehood| وتكتموا - and conceal| الحق - the Truth| وأنتم - while you| تعلمون - [you] know.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:80] | Waqaloo lan tamassana alnnaruilla ayyaman maAAdoodatan qul attakhathtumAAinda Allahi AAahdan falan yukhlifa AllahuAAahdahu am taqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | وقالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودة قل أتخذتم عند الله عهدا فلن يخلف الله عهده أم تقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون وَقَالُواْ لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلاَّ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُوْدَةً قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّهُ عَهْدَهُ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| لن - "Never| تمسنا - will touch us| النار - the Fire| إلا - except| أياما - (for) days| معدودة - numbered."| قل - Say,| أتخذتم - "Have you taken| عند - from| الله - Allah| عهدا - a covenant,| فلن - so never| يخلف - will break| الله - Allah| عهده - His Covenant?| أم - Or| تقولون - (do) you say| على - against| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 5 [2:151] | Kama arsalna feekum rasoolanminkum yatloo AAalaykum ayatinawayuzakkeekum wayuAAallimukumu alkitaba waalhikmatawayuAAallimukum ma lam takoonoo taAAlamoona | كما أرسلنا فيكم رسولا منكم يتلو عليكم آياتنا ويزكيكم ويعلمكم الكتاب والحكمة ويعلمكم ما لم تكونوا تعلمون كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولاً مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كما - As| أرسلنا - We sent| فيكم - among you| رسولا - a Messenger| منكم - from you| يتلو - (who) recites| عليكم - to you| آياتنا - Our verses| ويزكيكم - and purifies you| ويعلمكم - and teaches you| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| ويعلمكم - and teaches you| ما - what| لم - not| تكونوا - you were| تعلمون - knowing.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:169] | Innama ya/murukum bialssoo-iwaalfahsha-i waan taqooloo AAala Allahima la taAAlamoona | إنما يأمركم بالسوء والفحشاء وأن تقولوا على الله ما لا تعلمون إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَالْفَحْشَاءِ وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يأمركم - he commands you| بالسوء - to (do) the evil| والفحشاء - and the shameful| وأن - and that| تقولوا - you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:184] | Ayyaman maAAdoodatin faman kanaminkum mareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun minayyamin okhara waAAala allatheena yuteeqoonahufidyatun taAAamu miskeenin faman tatawwaAAakhayran fahuwa khayrun lahu waan tasoomoo khayrun lakum inkuntum taAAlamoona | أياما معدودات فمن كان منكم مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طعام مسكين فمن تطوع خيرا فهو خير له وأن تصوموا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أياما - (Fasting for) days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - So whoever| كان - is| منكم - among you| مريضا - sick| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey,| فعدة - then a prescribed number| من - of| أيام - days| أخر - other.| وعلى - And on| الذين - those who| يطيقونه - can afford it,| فدية - a ransom| طعام - (of) feeding| مسكين - a poor.| فمن - And whoever| تطوع - volunteers| خيرا - good| فهو - then it| خير - (is) better| له - for him.| وأن - And to| تصوموا - fast| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you,| إن - if| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:188] | Wala ta/kuloo amwalakumbaynakum bialbatili watudloo biha ilaalhukkami lita/kuloo fareeqan min amwali alnnasibial-ithmi waantum taAAlamoona | ولا تأكلوا أموالكم بينكم بالباطل وتدلوا بها إلى الحكام لتأكلوا فريقا من أموال الناس بالإثم وأنتم تعلمون وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُواْ بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُواْ فَرِيقًا مِّنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوا - eat| أموالكم - your properties| بينكم - among yourselves| بالباطل - wrongfully| وتدلوا - and present| بها - [with] it| إلى - to| الحكام - the authorities| لتأكلوا - so that you may eat| فريقا - a portion| من - from| أموال - (the) wealth| الناس - (of) the people| بالإثم - sinfully| وأنتم - while you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:216] | Kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalu wahuwakurhun lakum waAAasa an takrahoo shay-an wahuwa khayrunlakum waAAasa an tuhibboo shay-an wahuwa sharrunlakum waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum lataAAlamoona | كتب عليكم القتال وهو كره لكم وعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا وهو خير لكم وعسى أن تحبوا شيئا وهو شر لكم والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمون كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كتب - Is prescribed| عليكم - upon you| القتال - [the] fighting| وهو - while it| كره - (is) hateful| لكم - to you.| وعسى - But perhaps| أن - [that]| تكرهوا - you dislike| شيئا - a thing| وهو - and it| خير - (is) good| لكم - for you;| وعسى - and perhaps| أن - [that]| تحبوا - you love| شيئا - a thing| وهو - and it| شر - (is) bad| لكم - for you.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| وأنتم - while you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 10 [2:232] | Wa-itha tallaqtumu alnnisaafabalaghna ajalahunna fala taAAduloohunna an yankihnaazwajahunna itha taradaw baynahum bialmaAAroofithalika yooAAathu bihi man kanaminkum yu/minu biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhirithalikum azka lakum waatharu waAllahuyaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona | وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فلا تعضلوهن أن ينكحن أزواجهن إذا تراضوا بينهم بالمعروف ذلك يوعظ به من كان منكم يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ذلكم أزكى لكم وأطهر والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمون وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَاضَوْاْ بَيْنَهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ذَلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَلِكُمْ أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women| فبلغن - and they reached| أجلهن - their (waiting) term,| فلا - then (do) not| تعضلوهن - hinder them| أن - [that]| ينكحن - (from) marrying| أزواجهن - their husbands| إذا - when| تراضوا - they agree| بينهم - between themselves| بالمعروف - in a fair manner.| ذلك - That| يوعظ - is admonished| به - with it| من - whoever| كان - [is]| منكم - among you| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last;| ذلكم - that| أزكى - (is) more virtuous| لكم - for you| وأطهر - and more purer.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| وأنتم - and you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 11 [2:239] | Fa-in khiftum farijalan aw rukbananfa-itha amintum faothkuroo Allaha kamaAAallamakum ma lam takoonoo taAAlamoona | فإن خفتم فرجالا أو ركبانا فإذا أمنتم فاذكروا الله كما علمكم ما لم تكونوا تعلمون فَإنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالاً أَوْ رُكْبَانًا فَإِذَا أَمِنتُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - And if| خفتم - you fear| فرجالا - then (pray) on foot| أو - or| ركبانا - riding.| فإذا - Then when| أمنتم - you are secure| فاذكروا - then remember| الله - Allah| كما - as| علمكم - He (has) taught you| ما - what| لم - not| تكونوا - you were| تعلمون - knowing.| | ||||||
| 12 [2:280] | Wa-in kana thoo AAusratinfanathiratun ila maysaratin waan tasaddaqookhayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona | وإن كان ذو عسرة فنظرة إلى ميسرة وأن تصدقوا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ وَأَن تَصَدَّقُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كان - is| ذو - the (debtor)| عسرة - in difficulty,| فنظرة - then postponement| إلى - until| ميسرة - ease.| وأن - And if| تصدقوا - you remit as charity| خير - (it is) better| لكم - for you.| إن - If| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 13 [3:66] | Ha antum haola-i hajajtumfeema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feemalaysa lakum bihi AAilmun waAllahu yaAAlamu waantumla taAAlamoona | ها أنتم هؤلاء حاججتم فيما لكم به علم فلم تحاجون فيما ليس لكم به علم والله يعلم وأنتم لا تعلمون هَاأَنتُمْ هَؤُلاَءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ فِيمَا لَكُم بِهِ عِلمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِيمَا لَيْسَ لَكُم بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ها - Here| أنتم - You are| هؤلاء - those who| حاججتم - argued| فيما - about what| لكم - [for] you| به - of it| علم - (have some) knowledge.| فلم - Then why| تحاجون - (do) you argue| فيما - about what| ليس - not| لكم - for you| به - of it| علم - (any) knowledge.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows,| وأنتم - while you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 14 [3:71] | Ya ahla alkitabi limatalbisoona alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoonaalhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona | يا أهل الكتاب لم تلبسون الحق بالباطل وتكتمون الحق وأنتم تعلمون يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أهل - O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| لم - Why| تلبسون - do you mix| الحق - the truth| بالباطل - with the falsehood| وتكتمون - and conceal| الحق - the truth| وأنتم - while you| تعلمون - know?| | ||||||
| 15 [3:79] | Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukmawaalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona | ما كان لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن كونوا ربانيين بما كنتم تعلمون الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسون مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَادًا لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - is| لبشر - for a human| أن - that| يؤتيه - gives him| الله - Allah| الكتاب - the Book,| والحكم - and the wisdom,| والنبوة - and the Prophethood,| ثم - then| يقول - he says| للناس - to the people,| كونوا - "Be| عبادا - worshippers| لي - of me| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| ولكن - but (would say)| كونوا - "Be| ربانيين - worshippers of the Lord| بما - because| كنتم - you have been| تعلمون - teaching| الكتاب - the Book| وبما - and because| كنتم - you have been| تدرسون - studying (it)."| | ||||||
| 16 [6:67] | Likulli naba-in mustaqarrun wasawfataAAlamoona | لكل نبإ مستقر وسوف تعلمون لِّكُلِّ نَبَإٍ مُّسْتَقَرٌّ وَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لكل - For every| نبإ - news| مستقر - (is) a fixed time,| وسوف - and soon| تعلمون - you will know.| | ||||||
| 17 [6:81] | Wakayfa akhafu ma ashraktumwala takhafoona annakum ashraktum biAllahima lam yunazzil bihi AAalaykum sultanan faayyualfareeqayni ahaqqu bial-amni in kuntum taAAlamoona | وكيف أخاف ما أشركتم ولا تخافون أنكم أشركتم بالله ما لم ينزل به عليكم سلطانا فأي الفريقين أحق بالأمن إن كنتم تعلمون وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَا أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلاَ تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُم بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا فَأَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالْأَمْنِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكيف - And how| أخاف - could I fear| ما - what| أشركتم - you associate (with Allah)| ولا - while not| تخافون - you fear| أنكم - that you| أشركتم - have associated| بالله - with Allah| ما - what| لم - not| ينزل - did He send down| به - for it| عليكم - to you| سلطانا - any authority.| فأي - So which| الفريقين - (of) the two parties| أحق - has more right| بالأمن - to security| إن - if| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know?"| | ||||||
| 18 [6:135] | Qul ya qawmi iAAmaloo AAalamakanatikum innee AAamilun fasawfa taAAlamoona mantakoonu lahu AAaqibatu alddari innahu layuflihu alththalimoona | قل يا قوم اعملوا على مكانتكم إني عامل فسوف تعلمون من تكون له عاقبة الدار إنه لا يفلح الظالمون قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُواْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدِّارِ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعملوا - Work| على - on| مكانتكم - your position.| إني - Indeed, I am| عامل - a worker.| فسوف - And soon| تعلمون - you will know| من - who| تكون - will have| له - for himself| عاقبة - (in) the end,| الدار - (a good) home.| إنه - Indeed [he],| لا - (will) not| يفلح - succeed| الظالمون - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 19 [7:28] | Wa-itha faAAaloo fahishatan qaloowajadna AAalayha abaana waAllahuamarana biha qul inna Allaha laya/muru bialfahsha-i ataqooloona AAalaAllahi ma la taAAlamoona | وإذا فعلوا فاحشة قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا والله أمرنا بها قل إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون وَإِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً قَالُواْ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| فعلوا - they do| فاحشة - immorality| قالوا - they say,| وجدنا - "We found| عليها - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers| والله - and Allah| أمرنا - (has) ordered us| بها - of it."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يأمر - order| بالفحشاء - immorality.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 20 [7:33] | Qul innama harrama rabbiyaalfawahisha ma thahara minhawama batana waal-ithma waalbaghyabighayri alhaqqi waan tushrikoo biAllahi malam yunazzil bihi sultanan waan taqooloo AAala Allahima la taAAlamoona | قل إنما حرم ربي الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن والإثم والبغي بغير الحق وأن تشركوا بالله ما لم ينزل به سلطانا وأن تقولوا على الله ما لا تعلمون قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَن تُشْرِكُواْ بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
