| 2 [2:248] | Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna ayatamulkihi an ya/tiyakumu alttabootu feehi sakeenatunmin rabbikum wabaqiyyatun mimma taraka alu moosawaalu haroona tahmiluhu almala-ikatuinna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وقال لهم نبيهم إن آية ملكه أن يأتيكم التابوت فيه سكينة من ربكم وبقية مما ترك آل موسى وآل هارون تحمله الملائكة إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| لهم - to them| نبيهم - their Prophet,| إن - "Indeed,| آية - a sign| ملكه - (of) his kingship| أن - (is) that| يأتيكم - will come to you| التابوت - the ark,| فيه - in it| سكينة - (is) tranquility| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| وبقية - and a remnant| مما - of what| ترك - (was) left| آل - (by the) family| موسى - (of) Musa| وآل - and family| هارون - (of) Harun| تحمله - will carry it| الملائكة - the Angels.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a sign| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 3 [4:7] | Lilrrijali naseebun mimmataraka alwalidani waal-aqraboona walilnnisa-inaseebun mimma taraka alwalidani waal-aqraboonamimma qalla minhu aw kathura naseeban mafroodan | للرجال نصيب مما ترك الوالدان والأقربون وللنساء نصيب مما ترك الوالدان والأقربون مما قل منه أو كثر نصيبا مفروضا لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصيِبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَثُرَ نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا | |||||

| 4 [4:11] | Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikumlilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni fa-in kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunnathulutha ma taraka wa-in kanat wahidatanfalaha alnnisfu wali-abawayhi likulli wahidinminhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kanalahu waladun fa-in lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahufali-ommihi alththuluthu fa-in kana lahu ikhwatunfali-ommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseebiha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum latadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | يوصيكم الله في أولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين فإن كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وإن كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولأبويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك إن كان له ولد فإن لم يكن له ولد وورثه أبواه فلأمه الثلث فإن كان له إخوة فلأمه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين آباؤكم وأبناؤكم لا تدرون أيهم أقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يوصيكم - Instructs you| الله - Allah| في - concerning| أولادكم - your children -| للذكر - for the male| مثل - like| حظ - (the) portion| الأنثيين - (of) two females.| فإن - But if| كن - there are| نساء - (only) women| فوق - more (than)| اثنتين - two,| فلهن - then for them| ثلثا - two thirds| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وإن - And if| كانت - (there) is| واحدة - (only) one,| فلها - then for her| النصف - (is) half.| ولأبويه - And for his parents,| لكل - for each| واحد - one| منهما - of them| السدس - a sixth| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left,| إن - if| كان - is| له - for him| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| لم - not| يكن - is| له - for him| ولد - any child| وورثه - and inherit[ed] him| أبواه - his parents,| فلأمه - then for his mother| الثلث - (is) one third.| فإن - And if| كان - are| له - for him| إخوة - brothers and sisters,| فلأمه - then for his mother| السدس - (is) the sixth| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصي - he has made| بها - [of which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| آباؤكم - Your parents| وأبناؤكم - and your children -| لا - not| تدرون - you know| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearer| لكم - to you| نفعا - (in) benefit.| فريضة - An obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:12] | Walakum nisfu ma taraka azwajukumin lam yakun lahunna waladun fa-in kana lahunna waladunfalakumu alrrubuAAu mimma tarakna min baAAdi wasiyyatinyooseena biha aw daynin walahunna alrrubuAAumimma taraktum in lam yakun lakum waladun fa-in kanalakum waladun falahunna alththumunu mimma taraktummin baAAdi wasiyyatin toosoona biha awdaynin wa-in kana rajulun yoorathu kalalatan awiimraatun walahu akhun aw okhtun falikulli wahidin minhumaalssudusu fa-in kanoo akthara min thalikafahum shurakao fee alththuluthi min baAAdi wasiyyatinyoosa biha aw daynin ghayra mudarrin wasiyyatanmina Allahi waAllahu AAaleemun haleemun | ولكم نصف ما ترك أزواجكم إن لم يكن لهن ولد فإن كان لهن ولد فلكم الربع مما تركن من بعد وصية يوصين بها أو دين ولهن الربع مما تركتم إن لم يكن لكم ولد فإن كان لكم ولد فلهن الثمن مما تركتم من بعد وصية توصون بها أو دين وإن كان رجل يورث كلالة أو امرأة وله أخ أو أخت فلكل واحد منهما السدس فإن كانوا أكثر من ذلك فهم شركاء في الثلث من بعد وصية يوصى بها أو دين غير مضار وصية من الله والله عليم حليم وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلاَلَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِن كَانُواْ أَكْثَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍّ وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| نصف - (is) half| ما - (of) what| ترك - (is) left| أزواجكم - by your wives| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child,| فلكم - then for you| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركن - they left,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصين - they have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| ولهن - And for them| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left,| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child,| فلهن - then for them| الثمن - (is) the eighth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| توصون - you have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| وإن - And if| كان - [is]| رجل - a man| يورث - (whose wealth) is to be inherited| كلالة - (has) no parent or child| أو - or| امرأة - a women| وله - and for him| أخ - (is) a brother| أو - or| أخت - a sister,| فلكل - then for each| واحد - one| منهما - of (the) two| السدس - (is) the sixth.| فإن - But if| كانوا - they are| أكثر - more| من - than| ذلك - that,| فهم - then they| شركاء - (are) partners| في - in| الثلث - the third,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصى - was made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt| غير - without| مضار - (being) harmful.| وصية - An ordinance| من - from| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:33] | Walikullin jaAAalna mawaliyamimma taraka alwalidani waal-aqraboonawaallatheena AAaqadat aymanukum faatoohumnaseebahum inna Allaha kana AAalakulli shay-in shaheedan | ولكل جعلنا موالي مما ترك الوالدان والأقربون والذين عقدت أيمانكم فآتوهم نصيبهم إن الله كان على كل شيء شهيدا وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مَوَالِيَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَآتُوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for all| جعلنا - We (have) made| موالي - heirs| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left| الوالدان - (by) the parents| والأقربون - and the relatives.| والذين - And those whom| عقدت - pledged| أيمانكم - your right hands -| فآتوهم - then give them| نصيبهم - their share.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| على - over| كل - every| شيء - thing| شهيدا - a Witness.| | ||||||
| 7 [4:176] | Yastaftoonaka quli Allahu yufteekumfee alkalalati ini imruon halaka laysa lahu waladun walahuokhtun falaha nisfu ma taraka wahuwayarithuha in lam yakun laha waladun fa-in kanataithnatayni falahuma alththuluthani mimmataraka wa-in kanoo ikhwatan rijalan wanisaanfalilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni yubayyinu Allahu lakum an tadilloo waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemun | يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة إن امرؤ هلك ليس له ولد وله أخت فلها نصف ما ترك وهو يرثها إن لم يكن لها ولد فإن كانتا اثنتين فلهما الثلثان مما ترك وإن كانوا إخوة رجالا ونساء فللذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين يبين الله لكم أن تضلوا والله بكل شيء عليم يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانُواْ إِخْوَةً رِّجَالاً وَنِسَاءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ أَن تَضِلُّواْ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يستفتونك - They seek your ruling.| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| يفتيكم - gives you a ruling| في - concerning| الكلالة - the Kalala| إن - if| امرؤ - a man| هلك - died| ليس - (and) not| له - he has| ولد - a child| وله - and he has| أخت - a sister,| فلها - then for her| نصف - (is) a half| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وهو - And he| يرثها - will inherit from her| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لها - for her| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كانتا - there were| اثنتين - two females| فلهما - then for them| الثلثان - two thirds| مما - of what| ترك - he left.| وإن - But if| كانوا - they were| إخوة - brothers and sisters| رجالا - men| ونساء - and women,| فللذكر - then the male will have| مثل - like| حظ - share| الأنثيين - (of) the two females.| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - to you| أن - lest| تضلوا - you go astray.| والله - And Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:61] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bithulmihim ma tarakaAAalayha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhumila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum layasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona | ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بظلمهم ما ترك عليها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| يؤاخذ - Allah were to seize| الله - Allah were to seize| الناس - the mankind| بظلمهم - for their wrongdoing| ما - not| ترك - He (would) have left| عليها - upon it| من - any| دابة - moving creature,| ولكن - but| يؤخرهم - He defers them| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| فإذا - Then when| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their terms| لا - not| يستأخرون - they (will) remain behind| ساعة - an hour| ولا - and not| يستقدمون - they can advance (it).| | ||||||
| 9 [35:45] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAalathahriha min dabbatin walakinyu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaaajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran | ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا ما ترك على ظهرها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم فإن الله كان بعباده بصيرا وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| يؤاخذ - Allah (were to) punish| الله - Allah (were to) punish| الناس - the people| بما - for what| كسبوا - they have earned,| ما - not| ترك - He would leave| على - on| ظهرها - its back| من - any| دابة - creature.| ولكن - But| يؤخرهم - He gives them respite| إلى - till| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| فإذا - And when| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their term,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بعباده - of His slaves| بصيرا - All-Seer.| | ||||||
