| 1 [7:73] | Wa-ila thamooda akhahum salihanqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum hathihi naqatu Allahi lakum ayatanfatharooha ta/kul fee ardi Allahi walatamassooha bisoo-in faya/khuthakum AAathabunaleemun |  وإلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم هذه ناقة الله لكم آية فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء فيأخذكم عذاب أليموَإِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| ثمود - Thamud| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| صالحا - Salih.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| قد - Verily| جاءتكم - has come to you| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| هذه - This| ناقة - (is) a she-camel| الله - (of) Allah| لكم - (it is) for you| آية - a Sign.| فذروها - So you leave her| تأكل - (to) eat| في - on| أرض - (the) earth| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تمسوها - touch her| بسوء - with harm,| فيأخذكم - lest seizes you| عذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful."| | ||||||
| 2 [11:64] | Waya qawmi hathihi naqatuAllahi lakum ayatan fatharooha ta/kulfee ardi Allahi wala tamassoohabisoo-in faya/khuthakum AAathabun qareebun | ويا قوم هذه ناقة الله لكم آية فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء فيأخذكم عذاب قريب وَيَا قَوْمِ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| قوم - And O my people!| هذه - This| ناقة - she-camel| الله - (of) Allah| لكم - (is) for you| آية - a Sign,| فذروها - so leave her| تأكل - to eat| في - in| أرض - the earth| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تمسوها - touch her| بسوء - with harm,| فيأخذكم - lest will seize you| عذاب - a punishment| قريب - impending."| | ||||||
| 3 [12:36] | Wadakhala maAAahu alssijna fatayaniqala ahaduhuma innee aranee aAAsirukhamran waqala al-akharu innee aranee ahmilufawqa ra/see khubzan ta/kulu alttayru minhu nabbi/nabita/weelihi inna naraka mina almuhsineena | ودخل معه السجن فتيان قال أحدهما إني أراني أعصر خمرا وقال الآخر إني أراني أحمل فوق رأسي خبزا تأكل الطير منه نبئنا بتأويله إنا نراك من المحسنين وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ السِّجْنَ فَتَيَانِ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًا وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ إِنِّي أَرَانِي أَحْمِلُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي خُبْزًا تَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِنْهُ نَبِّئْنَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ إِنَّا نَرَاكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ودخل - And entered| معه - with him| السجن - (in) the prison| فتيان - two young men.| قال - Said| أحدهما - one of them,| إني - "Indeed, I| أراني - [I] see myself| أعصر - pressing| خمرا - wine."| وقال - And said| الآخر - the other,| إني - "Indeed, I| أراني - [I] see myself| أحمل - [I am] carrying| فوق - over| رأسي - my head| خبزا - bread,| تأكل - (were) eating| الطير - the birds| منه - from it.| نبئنا - Inform us| بتأويله - of its interpretation;| إنا - indeed, we| نراك - [we] see you| من - of| المحسنين - the good-doers."| | ||||||
| 4 [32:27] | Awa lam yaraw anna nasooqu almaaila al-ardi aljuruzi fanukhriju bihi zarAAanta-kulu minhu anAAamuhum waanfusuhum afala yubsiroona | أولم يروا أنا نسوق الماء إلى الأرض الجرز فنخرج به زرعا تأكل منه أنعامهم وأنفسهم أفلا يبصرون أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَسُوقُ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَامُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولم - Do not| يروا - they see| أنا - that We| نسوق - drive| الماء - water| إلى - to| الأرض - the land| الجرز - [the] barren,| فنخرج - then We bring forth| به - thereby| زرعا - crops,| تأكل - eat| منه - from it| أنعامهم - their cattle| وأنفسهم - and they themselves?| أفلا - Then do not| يبصرون - they see?| | ||||||
| 5 [34:14] | Falamma qadaynaAAalayhi almawta ma dallahum AAala mawtihi illadabbatu al-ardi ta/kulu minsaatahu falammakharra tabayyanati aljinnu an law kanoo yaAAlamoonaalghayba ma labithoo fee alAAathabi almuheeni | فلما قضينا عليه الموت ما دلهم على موته إلا دابة الأرض تأكل منسأته فلما خر تبينت الجن أن لو كانوا يعلمون الغيب ما لبثوا في العذاب المهين فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَى مَوْتِهِ إِلَّا دَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا فِي الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| قضينا - We decreed| عليه - for him| الموت - the death,| ما - not| دلهم - indicated to them| على - [on]| موته - his death| إلا - except| دابة - a creature| الأرض - (of) the earth| تأكل - eating| منسأته - his staff.| فلما - But when| خر - he fell down,| تبينت - became clear| الجن - (to) the jinn| أن - that| لو - if| كانوا - they had| يعلمون - known| الغيب - the unseen,| ما - not| لبثوا - they (would have) remained| في - in| العذاب - the punishment| المهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 6 [47:12] | Inna Allaha yudkhilu allatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu waallatheenakafaroo yatamattaAAoona waya/kuloona kama ta/kulu al-anAAamuwaalnnaru mathwan lahum | إن الله يدخل الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار والذين كفروا يتمتعون ويأكلون كما تأكل الأنعام والنار مثوى لهم إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ الْأَنْعَامُ وَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يدخل - will admit| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| وعملوا - and do| الصالحات - righteous deeds| جنات - (to) Gardens,| تجري - flow| من - from| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers,| والذين - but those who| كفروا - disbelieve| يتمتعون - they enjoy| ويأكلون - and eat| كما - as| تأكل - eat| الأنعام - the cattle,| والنار - and the Fire| مثوى - (will be) an abode| لهم - for them.| | ||||||
