| 1 [5:46] | Waqaffayna AAala atharihimbiAAeesa ibni maryama musaddiqan lima baynayadayhi mina alttawrati waataynahual-injeela feehi hudan wanoorun wamusaddiqan limabayna yadayhi mina alttawrati wahudan wamawAAithatanlilmuttaqeena |  وقفينا على آثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وآتيناه الإنجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقينوَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقفينا - And We sent| على - on| آثارهم - their footsteps| بعيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) between| يديه - his hands| من - of| التوراة - the Taurat,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الإنجيل - the Injeel,| فيه - in it| هدى - (was) Guidance| ونور - and light| ومصدقا - and confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) between| يديه - his hands| من - of| التوراة - the Taurat| وهدى - and a Guidance| وموعظة - and an admonition| للمتقين - for the God conscious.| | ||||||
| 2 [57:27] | Thumma qaffayna AAala atharihimbirusulina waqaffayna biAAeesa ibni maryamawaataynahu al-injeela wajaAAalna fee quloobiallatheena ittabaAAoohu ra/fatan warahmatan warahbaniyyatanibtadaAAooha ma katabnaha AAalayhimilla ibtighaa ridwani Allahifama raAAawha haqqa riAAayatihafaatayna allatheena amanoo minhumajrahum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ثم قفينا على آثارهم برسلنا وقفينا بعيسى ابن مريم وآتيناه الإنجيل وجعلنا في قلوب الذين اتبعوه رأفة ورحمة ورهبانية ابتدعوها ما كتبناها عليهم إلا ابتغاء رضوان الله فما رعوها حق رعايتها فآتينا الذين آمنوا منهم أجرهم وكثير منهم فاسقون ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةً وَرَحْمَةً وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قفينا - We sent| على - on| آثارهم - their footsteps| برسلنا - Our Messengers| وقفينا - and We followed| بعيسى - with Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الإنجيل - the Injeel.| وجعلنا - And We placed| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| اتبعوه - followed him| رأفة - compassion| ورحمة - and mercy.| ورهبانية - But monasticism| ابتدعوها - they innovated -| ما - not| كتبناها - We prescribed it| عليهم - for them -| إلا - only| ابتغاء - seeking| رضوان - (the) pleasure| الله - (of) Allah,| فما - but not| رعوها - they observed it| حق - (with) right| رعايتها - observance.| فآتينا - So We gave| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| منهم - among them| أجرهم - their reward,| وكثير - but most| منهم - of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobediently.| | ||||||
