| 1 [7:205] | Waothkur rabbaka fee nafsikatadarruAAan wakheefatan wadoona aljahri mina alqawli bialghuduwwiwaal-asali wala takun mina alghafileena |  واذكر ربك في نفسك تضرعا وخيفة ودون الجهر من القول بالغدو والآصال ولا تكن من الغافلينوَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعاً وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| في - in| نفسك - yourself| تضرعا - humbly| وخيفة - and (in) fear| ودون - and without| الجهر - the loudness| من - of| القول - [the] words,| بالغدو - in the mornings| والآصال - and (in) the evenings.| ولا - And (do) not| تكن - be| من - among| الغافلين - the heedless.| | ||||||
| 2 [13:15] | Walillahi yasjudu man fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi tawAAan wakarhan wathilaluhumbialghuduwwi waal-asali | ولله يسجد من في السماوات والأرض طوعا وكرها وظلالهم بالغدو والآصال وَلِلّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلالُهُم بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ | |||||
| Words | |ولله - And to Allah| يسجد - prostrates| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| طوعا - willingly| وكرها - or unwillingly,| وظلالهم - and (so do) their shadows| بالغدو - in the mornings| والآصال - and in the afternoons.| | ||||||
| 3 [24:36] | Fee buyootin athina Allahu anturfaAAa wayuthkara feeha ismuhu yusabbihulahu feeha bialghuduwwi waal-asali | في بيوت أذن الله أن ترفع ويذكر فيها اسمه يسبح له فيها بالغدو والآصال فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ | |||||
| Words | |في - In| بيوت - houses| أذن - (which) Allah ordered| الله - (which) Allah ordered| أن - that| ترفع - they be raised| ويذكر - and be mentioned| فيها - in them| اسمه - His name.| يسبح - Glorify| له - [to] Him| فيها - in them| بالغدو - in the mornings| والآصال - and (in) the evenings.| | ||||||
