| 1 [10:24] | Innama mathalu alhayatialddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina alssama-ifaikhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi mimmaya/kulu alnnasu waal-anAAamu hattaitha akhathati al-ardu zukhrufaha waizzayyanatwathanna ahluha annahum qadiroonaAAalayha ataha amruna laylan aw naharanfajaAAalnaha haseedan kaan lam taghnabial-amsi kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yatafakkaroona |  إنما مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض مما يأكل الناس والأنعام حتى إذا أخذت الأرض زخرفها وازينت وظن أهلها أنهم قادرون عليها أتاها أمرنا ليلا أو نهارا فجعلناها حصيدا كأن لم تغن بالأمس كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يتفكرونإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىَ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| مثل - (the) example| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| كماء - (is) like (the) water| أنزلناه - which We sent down| من - from| السماء - the sky,| فاختلط - so absorbs| به - [with] it,| نبات - (the) plants| الأرض - (of) the earth| مما - from which| يأكل - eat| الناس - the men| والأنعام - and the cattle,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أخذت - takes| الأرض - the earth| زخرفها - its adornment| وازينت - and is beautified| وظن - and think| أهلها - its people| أنهم - that they| قادرون - have the power| عليها - over it,| أتاها - comes (to) it| أمرنا - Our command| ليلا - (by) night| أو - or| نهارا - (by) day,| فجعلناها - and We make it| حصيدا - a harvest clean-mown,| كأن - as if| لم - not| تغن - it had flourished| بالأمس - yesterday.| كذلك - Thus| نفصل - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 2 [28:18] | Faasbaha fee almadeenati kha-ifanyataraqqabu fa-itha allathee istansarahu bial-amsiyastasrikhuhu qala lahu moosa innakalaghawiyyun mubeenun | فأصبح في المدينة خائفا يترقب فإذا الذي استنصره بالأمس يستصرخه قال له موسى إنك لغوي مبين فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |فأصبح - In the morning he was| في - in| المدينة - the city| خائفا - fearful| يترقب - (and) was vigilant,| فإذا - when behold!| الذي - The one who| استنصره - sought his help| بالأمس - the previous day| يستصرخه - cried out to him for help.| قال - Said| له - to him| موسى - Musa,| إنك - "Indeed, you| لغوي - (are) surely a deviator| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 3 [28:19] | Falamma an arada an yabtishabiallathee huwa AAaduwwun lahuma qalaya moosa atureedu an taqtulanee kama qataltanafsan bial-amsi in tureedu illa an takoona jabbaranfee al-ardi wama tureedu an takoona mina almusliheena | فلما أن أراد أن يبطش بالذي هو عدو لهما قال يا موسى أتريد أن تقتلني كما قتلت نفسا بالأمس إن تريد إلا أن تكون جبارا في الأرض وما تريد أن تكون من المصلحين فَلَمَّا أَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَبْطِشَ بِالَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقْتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا بِالْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| أن - [that]| أراد - he wanted| أن - to| يبطش - strike| بالذي - the one who| هو - [he] (was)| عدو - an enemy| لهما - to both of them,| قال - he said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| أتريد - Do you intend| أن - to| تقتلني - kill me| كما - as| قتلت - you killed| نفسا - a person| بالأمس - yesterday?| إن - Not| تريد - you want| إلا - but| أن - that| تكون - you become| جبارا - a tyrant| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| وما - and not| تريد - you want| أن - that| تكون - you be| من - of| المصلحين - the reformers."| | ||||||
| 4 [28:82] | Waasbaha allatheenatamannaw makanahu bial-amsi yaqooloona waykaannaAllaha yabsutu alrrizqa liman yashaomin AAibadihi wayaqdiru lawla an manna AllahuAAalayna lakhasafa bina waykaannahu la yuflihualkafiroona | وأصبح الذين تمنوا مكانه بالأمس يقولون ويكأن الله يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء من عباده ويقدر لولا أن من الله علينا لخسف بنا ويكأنه لا يفلح الكافرون وَأَصْبَحَ الَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا مَكَانَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَوْلَا أَن مَّنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا وَيْكَأَنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأصبح - And began,| الذين - those who| تمنوا - (had) wished| مكانه - his position| بالأمس - the day before| يقولون - (to) say,| ويكأن - "Ah! That| الله - Allah| يبسط - extends| الرزق - the provision| لمن - for whom| يشاء - He wills| من - of| عباده - His slaves,| ويقدر - and restricts it.| لولا - If not| أن - that| من - Allah had favored| الله - Allah had favored| علينا - [to] us| لخسف - He would have caused it to swallow us.| بنا - He would have caused it to swallow us.| ويكأنه - Ah! That| لا - not| يفلح - will succeed| الكافرون - the disbelievers."| | ||||||
