| 1 [40:12] | Thalikum bi-annahu ithaduAAiya Allahu wahdahu kafartum wa-in yushrak bihitu/minoo faalhukmu lillahi alAAaliyyialkabeeri |  ذلكم بأنه إذا دعي الله وحده كفرتم وإن يشرك به تؤمنوا فالحكم لله العلي الكبيرذَلِكُم بِأَنَّهُ إِذَا دُعِيَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ كَفَرْتُمْ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِ تُؤْمِنُوا فَالْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْكَبِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |ذلكم - "That| بأنه - (is) because,| إذا - when| دعي - Allah was invoked| الله - Allah was invoked| وحده - Alone| كفرتم - you disbelieved;| وإن - but if| يشرك - (others) were associated| به - with Him,| تؤمنوا - you believed.| فالحكم - So the judgment| لله - (is) with Allah,| العلي - the Most High,| الكبير - the Most Great."| | ||||||
| 2 [64:6] | Thalika bi-annahu kanatta/teehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati faqalooabasharun yahdoonana fakafaroo watawallaw waistaghnaAllahu waAllahu ghaniyyun hameedun | ذلك بأنه كانت تأتيهم رسلهم بالبينات فقالوا أبشر يهدوننا فكفروا وتولوا واستغنى الله والله غني حميد ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا وَتَوَلَّوا وَّاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| بأنه - (is) because| كانت - had| تأتيهم - come to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فقالوا - but they said,| أبشر - "Shall human beings| يهدوننا - guide us?"| فكفروا - So they disbelieved| وتولوا - and turned away.| واستغنى - And can do without them| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| غني - (is) Self-sufficient,| حميد - Praiseworthy.| | ||||||
