| 1 [3:167] | WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoowaqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahiawi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan laittabaAAnakumhum lilkufri yawma-ithin aqrabu minhum lil-eemaniyaqooloona bi-afwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim waAllahuaAAlamu bima yaktumoona |  وليعلم الذين نافقوا وقيل لهم تعالوا قاتلوا في سبيل الله أو ادفعوا قالوا لو نعلم قتالا لاتبعناكم هم للكفر يومئذ أقرب منهم للإيمان يقولون بأفواههم ما ليس في قلوبهم والله أعلم بما يكتمونوَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ نَافَقُواْ وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ قَاتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُواْ قَالُواْ لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالاً لاَّتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وليعلم - And that He (might) make evident| الذين - those who| نافقوا - (are) hypocrites.| وقيل - And it was said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come,| قاتلوا - fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أو - or| ادفعوا - defend."| قالوا - They said,| لو - "If| نعلم - we knew| قتالا - fighting| لاتبعناكم - certainly we (would have) followed you."| هم - They -| للكفر - to disbelief| يومئذ - that day| أقرب - (were) nearer| منهم - than [them]| للإيمان - to the faith,| يقولون - saying| بأفواههم - with their mouths| ما - what| ليس - was not| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| أعلم - (is) Most Knowing| بما - of what| يكتمون - they conceal.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:41] | Ya ayyuha alrrasoolu layahzunka allatheena yusariAAoona fee alkufrimina allatheena qaloo amanna bi-afwahihimwalam tu/min quloobuhum wamina allatheena hadoosammaAAoona lilkathibi sammaAAoona liqawmin akhareenalam ya/tooka yuharrifoona alkalima min baAAdi mawadiAAihiyaqooloona in ooteetum hatha fakhuthoohu wa-in lamtu/tawhu faihtharoo waman yuridi Allahufitnatahu falan tamlika lahu mina Allahi shay-an ola-ikaallatheena lam yuridi Allahu an yutahhiraquloobahum lahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum feeal-akhirati AAathabun AAatheemun | يا أيها الرسول لا يحزنك الذين يسارعون في الكفر من الذين قالوا آمنا بأفواههم ولم تؤمن قلوبهم ومن الذين هادوا سماعون للكذب سماعون لقوم آخرين لم يأتوك يحرفون الكلم من بعد مواضعه يقولون إن أوتيتم هذا فخذوه وإن لم تؤتوه فاحذروا ومن يرد الله فتنته فلن تملك له من الله شيئا أولئك الذين لم يرد الله أن يطهر قلوبهم لهم في الدنيا خزي ولهم في الآخرة عذاب عظيم يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لاَ يَحْزُنكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَـذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُواْ وَمَن يُرِدِ اللّهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَن تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| الرسول - Messenger!| لا - Let not| يحزنك - grieve you| الذين - those who| يسارعون - hasten| في - in (to)| الكفر - [the] disbelief -| من - of| الذين - those who| قالوا - said,| آمنا - "We believe"| بأفواههم - with their mouths| ولم - and not| تؤمن - believe| قلوبهم - their hearts,| ومن - and from| الذين - those who| هادوا - (are) Jews.| سماعون - They (are) listeners| للكذب - to falsehood,| سماعون - (and) listeners| لقوم - for people,| آخرين - other,| لم - (who have) not| يأتوك - come to you.| يحرفون - They distort| الكلم - the words| من - from| بعد - after| مواضعه - their context,| يقولون - saying,| إن - "If| أوتيتم - you are given| هذا - this| فخذوه - [so] take it| وإن - but if| لم - not| تؤتوه - you are given it| فاحذروا - then beware."| ومن - And (for) whom| يرد - intends| الله - Allah| فتنته - his trial,| فلن - then never| تملك - will you have power| له - for him| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - anything.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones| لم - never| يرد - will intend| الله - Allah| أن - that| يطهر - He purifies| قلوبهم - their hearts.| لهم - For them| في - in| الدنيا - the world| خزي - (is) disgrace| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:8] | Kayfa wa-in yathharoo AAalaykumla yarquboo feekum illan wala thimmatan yurdoonakumbi-afwahihim wata/ba quloobuhum waaktharuhum fasiqoona | كيف وإن يظهروا عليكم لا يرقبوا فيكم إلا ولا ذمة يرضونكم بأفواههم وتأبى قلوبهم وأكثرهم فاسقون كَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ لاَ يَرْقُبُواْ فِيكُمْ إِلاًّ وَلاَ ذِمَّةً يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَى قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كيف - How| وإن - while, if| يظهروا - they gain dominance| عليكم - over you| لا - they do not regard (the ties)| يرقبوا - they do not regard (the ties)| فيكم - with you| إلا - (of) kinship| ولا - and not| ذمة - covenant of protection?| يرضونكم - They satisfy you| بأفواههم - with their mouths| وتأبى - but refuse,| قلوبهم - their hearts| وأكثرهم - and most of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:30] | Waqalati alyahoodu AAuzayrun ibnu Allahiwaqalati alnnasara almaseehuibnu Allahi thalika qawluhum bi-afwahihim yudahi-oonaqawla allatheena kafaroo min qablu qatalahumu Allahuanna yu/fakoona | وقالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصارى المسيح ابن الله ذلك قولهم بأفواههم يضاهئون قول الذين كفروا من قبل قاتلهم الله أنى يؤفكون وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللّهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللّهِ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ يُضَاهِؤُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبْلُ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said| اليهود - the Jews,| عزير - "Uzair| ابن - (is) son| الله - (of) Allah."| وقالت - And said| النصارى - the Christians,| المسيح - "Messiah| ابن - (is) son| الله - (of) Allah."| ذلك - That| قولهم - (is) their saying| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| يضاهئون - they imitate| قول - the saying| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - before.| قبل - before.| قاتلهم - (May) Allah destroy them.| الله - (May) Allah destroy them.| أنى - How| يؤفكون - deluded are they!| | ||||||
| 5 [9:32] | Yureedoona an yutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waya/ba Allahu illa anyutimma noorahu walaw kariha alkafiroona | يريدون أن يطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم ويأبى الله إلا أن يتم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يريدون - They want| أن - to| يطفئوا - extinguish| نور - Allah's light| الله - Allah's light| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| ويأبى - but Allah refuses| الله - but Allah refuses| إلا - except| أن - to| يتم - perfect| نوره - His Light| ولو - even if| كره - the disbelievers dislike (it).| الكافرون - the disbelievers dislike (it).| | ||||||
| 6 [61:8] | Yureedoona liyutfi-oo noora Allahibi-afwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walawkariha alkafiroona | يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يريدون - They intend| ليطفئوا - to put out| نور - (the) light| الله - (of) Allah| بأفواههم - with their mouths,| والله - but Allah| متم - will perfect| نوره - His Light| ولو - although| كره - dislike| الكافرون - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
