| 1 [4:84] | Faqatil fee sabeeli Allahi latukallafu illa nafsaka waharridialmu/mineena AAasa Allahu an yakuffa ba/sa allatheenakafaroo waAllahu ashaddu ba/san waashaddu tankeelan |  فقاتل في سبيل الله لا تكلف إلا نفسك وحرض المؤمنين عسى الله أن يكف بأس الذين كفروا والله أشد بأسا وأشد تنكيلافَقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ تُكَلَّفُ إِلاَّ نَفْسَكَ وَحَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَكُفَّ بَأْسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَاللّهُ أَشَدُّ بَأْسًا وَأَشَدُّ تَنكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |فقاتل - So fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah;| لا - not| تكلف - are you responsible| إلا - except| نفسك - (for) yourself.| وحرض - And encourage| المؤمنين - the believers,| عسى - perhaps| الله - Allah| أن - will| يكف - restrain| بأس - (the) might| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved.| والله - And Allah| أشد - (is) Stronger| بأسا - (in) Might| وأشد - and Stronger| تنكيلا - (in) punishment.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:65] | Qul huwa alqadiru AAala anyabAAatha AAalaykum AAathaban min fawqikum aw min tahtiarjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaAAan wayutheeqa baAAdakumba/sa baAAdin onthur kayfa nusarrifual-ayati laAAallahum yafqahoona | قل هو القادر على أن يبعث عليكم عذابا من فوقكم أو من تحت أرجلكم أو يلبسكم شيعا ويذيق بعضكم بأس بعض انظر كيف نصرف الآيات لعلهم يفقهون قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعاً وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||

| 3 [17:5] | Fa-itha jaa waAAdu oolahumabaAAathna AAalaykum AAibadan lana oleeba/sin shadeedin fajasoo khilala alddiyariwakana waAAdan mafAAoolan | فإذا جاء وعد أولاهما بعثنا عليكم عبادا لنا أولي بأس شديد فجاسوا خلال الديار وكان وعدا مفعولا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ أُولاَهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَّنَا أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُواْ خِلاَلَ الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَّفْعُولاً | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - So when| جاء - came| وعد - (the) promise| أولاهما - (for) the first of the two,| بعثنا - We raised| عليكم - against you| عبادا - servants| لنا - of Ours| أولي - those of great military might| بأس - those of great military might| شديد - those of great military might| فجاسوا - and they entered| خلال - the inner most part| الديار - (of) the homes,| وكان - and (it) was| وعدا - a promise| مفعولا - fulfilled.| | ||||||
| 4 [27:33] | Qaloo nahnu oloo quwwatinwaoloo ba/sin shadeedin waal-amru ilayki faonthureematha ta/mureena | قالوا نحن أولو قوة وأولو بأس شديد والأمر إليك فانظري ماذا تأمرين قَالُوا نَحْنُ أُوْلُوا قُوَّةٍ وَأُولُوا بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَالْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَانظُرِي مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| نحن - "We| أولو - (are) possessors| قوة - (of) strength| وأولو - and possessors| بأس - (of) might| شديد - great,| والأمر - and the command| إليك - (is) up to you,| فانظري - so look| ماذا - what| تأمرين - you will command."| | ||||||
| 5 [40:29] | Ya qawmi lakumu almulku alyawma thahireenafee al-ardi faman yansuruna min ba/si Allahiin jaana qala firAAawnu ma oreekumilla ma ara wama ahdeekum illasabeela alrrashadi | يا قوم لكم الملك اليوم ظاهرين في الأرض فمن ينصرنا من بأس الله إن جاءنا قال فرعون ما أريكم إلا ما أرى وما أهديكم إلا سبيل الرشاد يَا قَوْمِ لَكُمُ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ ظَاهِرِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِن بَأْسِ اللَّهِ إِنْ جَاءَنَا قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَا أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَرَى وَمَا أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ | |||||

| 6 [48:16] | Qul lilmukhallafeena mina al-aAArabisatudAAawna ila qawmin olee ba/sin shadeedin tuqatiloonahumaw yuslimoona fa-in tuteeAAoo yu/tikumu Allahuajran hasanan wa-in tatawallaw kama tawallaytum minqablu yuAAaththibkum AAathaban aleeman | قل للمخلفين من الأعراب ستدعون إلى قوم أولي بأس شديد تقاتلونهم أو يسلمون فإن تطيعوا يؤتكم الله أجرا حسنا وإن تتولوا كما توليتم من قبل يعذبكم عذابا أليما قُل لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ فَإِن تُطِيعُوا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say| للمخلفين - to those who remained behind| من - of| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| ستدعون - "You will be called| إلى - to| قوم - a people,| أولي - possessors of military might| بأس - possessors of military might| شديد - great;| تقاتلونهم - you will fight them,| أو - or| يسلمون - they will submit.| فإن - Then if| تطيعوا - you obey,| يؤتكم - Allah will give you| الله - Allah will give you| أجرا - a reward| حسنا - good;| وإن - but if| تتولوا - you turn away| كما - as| توليتم - you turned away| من - before,| قبل - before,| يعذبكم - He will punish you| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful."| | ||||||
| 7 [57:25] | Laqad arsalna rusulana bialbayyinatiwaanzalna maAAahumu alkitaba waalmeezanaliyaqooma alnnasu bialqisti waanzalnaalhadeeda feehi ba/sun shadeedun wamanafiAAu lilnnasiwaliyaAAlama Allahu man yansuruhu warusulahu bialghaybiinna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun | لقد أرسلنا رسلنا بالبينات وأنزلنا معهم الكتاب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط وأنزلنا الحديد فيه بأس شديد ومنافع للناس وليعلم الله من ينصره ورسله بالغيب إن الله قوي عزيز لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| أرسلنا - We sent| رسلنا - Our Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| وأنزلنا - and We sent down| معهم - with them| الكتاب - the Scripture| والميزان - and the Balance| ليقوم - that may establish| الناس - the people| بالقسط - justice.| وأنزلنا - And We sent down| الحديد - [the] iron,| فيه - wherein| بأس - (is) power| شديد - mighty| ومنافع - and benefits| للناس - for the people,| وليعلم - and so that Allah may make evident| الله - and so that Allah may make evident| من - (he) who| ينصره - helps Him| ورسله - and His Messengers,| بالغيب - unseen.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| قوي - (is) All-Strong| عزيز - All-Mighty.| | ||||||
