| 1 [20:62] | FatanazaAAoo amrahum baynahumwaasarroo alnnajwa |  فتنازعوا أمرهم بينهم وأسروا النجوىفَتَنَازَعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَى | |||||
| Words | |فتنازعوا - Then they disputed| أمرهم - (in) their affair| بينهم - among them,| وأسروا - and they kept secret| النجوى - the private conversation.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:3] | Lahiyatan quloobuhum waasarroo alnnajwaallatheena thalamoo hal hatha illabasharun mithlukum afata/toona alssihra waantum tubsiroona | لاهية قلوبهم وأسروا النجوى الذين ظلموا هل هذا إلا بشر مثلكم أفتأتون السحر وأنتم تبصرون لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلْ هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لاهية - Distracted| قلوبهم - their hearts.| وأسروا - And they conceal| النجوى - the private conversation,| الذين - those who| ظلموا - [they] wronged,| هل - "Is| هذا - this| إلا - except| بشر - a human being| مثلكم - like you?| أفتأتون - So would you approach| السحر - the magic| وأنتم - while you| تبصرون - see (it)?"| | ||||||
| 3 [58:8] | Alam tara ila allatheena nuhooAAani alnnajwa thumma yaAAoodoona lima nuhooAAanhu wayatanajawna bial-ithmi waalAAudwaniwamaAAsiyati alrrasooli wa-itha jaookahayyawka bima lam yuhayyika bihi Allahuwayaqooloona fee anfusihim lawla yuAAaththibunaAllahu bima naqoolu hasbuhum jahannamu yaslawnahafabi/sa almaseeru | ألم تر إلى الذين نهوا عن النجوى ثم يعودون لما نهوا عنه ويتناجون بالإثم والعدوان ومعصيت الرسول وإذا جاءوك حيوك بما لم يحيك به الله ويقولون في أنفسهم لولا يعذبنا الله بما نقول حسبهم جهنم يصلونها فبئس المصير أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُوا عَنِ النَّجْوَى ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَاجَوْنَ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَاؤُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| نهوا - were forbidden| عن - from| النجوى - secret counsels,| ثم - then| يعودون - they return| لما - to what| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from [it],| ويتناجون - and they hold secret counsels| بالإثم - for sin| والعدوان - and aggression| ومعصيت - and disobedience| الرسول - (to) the Messenger?| وإذا - And when| جاءوك - they come to you,| حيوك - they greet you| بما - with what| لم - not| يحيك - greets you| به - therewith| الله - Allah,| ويقولون - and they say| في - among| أنفسهم - themselves,| لولا - "Why (does) not| يعذبنا - Allah punish us| الله - Allah punish us| بما - for what| نقول - we say?"| حسبهم - Sufficient (for) them| جهنم - (is) Hell,| يصلونها - they will burn in it| فبئس - and worst is| المصير - the destination.| | ||||||
| 4 [58:10] | Innama alnnajwa mina alshshaytaniliyahzuna allatheena amanoo walaysa bidarrihimshay-an illa bi-ithni Allahi waAAalaAllahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona | إنما النجوى من الشيطان ليحزن الذين آمنوا وليس بضارهم شيئا إلا بإذن الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون إِنَّمَا النَّجْوَى مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيْسَ بِضَارِّهِمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| النجوى - the secret counsels| من - (are) from| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ليحزن - that he may grieve| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| وليس - but not| بضارهم - he (can) harm them| شيئا - (in) anything| إلا - except| بإذن - by Allah's permission.| الله - by Allah's permission.| وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| فليتوكل - let put (their) trust| المؤمنون - the believers.| | ||||||
