| 1 [6:56] | Qul innee nuheetu an aAAbuda allatheenatadAAoona min dooni Allahi qul la attabiAAu ahwaakumqad dalaltu ithan wama ana minaalmuhtadeena |  قل إني نهيت أن أعبد الذين تدعون من دون الله قل لا أتبع أهواءكم قد ضللت إذا وما أنا من المهتدينقُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قُل لاَّ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَاءَكُمْ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إني - "Indeed I| نهيت - [I] am forbidden| أن - that| أعبد - I worship| الذين - those whom| تدعون - you call| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah."| قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أتبع - I follow| أهواءكم - your (vain) desires,| قد - certainly| ضللت - I would go astray| إذا - then,| وما - and not| أنا - I (would be)| من - from| المهتدين - the guided-ones."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:18] | Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahiman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata walam yakhsha illa AllahafaAAasa ola-ika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena | إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدين إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ فَعَسَى أُوْلَـئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يعمر - will maintain| مساجد - (the) masajid of Allah| الله - (the) masajid of Allah| من - (the one) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| وأقام - and establishes| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتى - and gives| الزكاة - the zakah| ولم - and not| يخش - fear| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| فعسى - Then perhaps| أولئك - those,| أن - [that]| يكونوا - they are| من - of| المهتدين - the guided ones.| | ||||||
