| 1 [4:108] | Yastakhfoona mina alnnasi walayastakhfoona mina Allahi wahuwa maAAahum ithyubayyitoona ma la yarda mina alqawli wakanaAllahu bima yaAAmaloona muheetan |  يستخفون من الناس ولا يستخفون من الله وهو معهم إذ يبيتون ما لا يرضى من القول وكان الله بما يعملون محيطايَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلاَ يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لاَ يَرْضَى مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا | |||||
| Words | |يستخفون - They seek to hide| من - from| الناس - the people| ولا - but not| يستخفون - (can) they hide| من - from| الله - Allah| وهو - and He| معهم - (is) with them| إذ - when| يبيتون - they plot by night| ما - what| لا - not| يرضى - (does) he approve| من - of| القول - the word.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| بما - of what| يعملون - they do -| محيطا - All-Encompassing.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:148] | La yuhibbu Allahualjahra bialssoo-i mina alqawli illa man thulimawakana Allahu sameeAAan AAaleeman | لا يحب الله الجهر بالسوء من القول إلا من ظلم وكان الله سميعا عليما لاَّ يُحِبُّ اللّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلاَّ مَن ظُلِمَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يحب - love| الله - Allah| الجهر - the public mention| بالسوء - of [the] evil| من - [of]| القول - [the] words| إلا - except| من - (by the one) who| ظلم - has been wronged.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| سميعا - All-Hearing,| عليما - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:112] | Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan shayateena al-insi waaljinni yooheebaAAduhum ila baAAdin zukhrufa alqawlighurooran walaw shaa rabbuka ma faAAaloohu fatharhumwama yaftaroona | وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا شياطين الإنس والجن يوحي بعضهم إلى بعض زخرف القول غرورا ولو شاء ربك ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| جعلنا - We made| لكل - for every| نبي - Prophet| عدوا - an enemy -| شياطين - devils| الإنس - (from) the mankind| والجن - and the jinn,| يوحي - inspiring| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| زخرف - (with) decorative| القول - [the] speech| غرورا - (in) deception.| ولو - But if| شاء - (had) willed| ربك - your Lord| ما - not| فعلوه - they (would) have done it,| فذرهم - so leave them| وما - and what| يفترون - they invent.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:205] | Waothkur rabbaka fee nafsikatadarruAAan wakheefatan wadoona aljahri mina alqawli bialghuduwwiwaal-asali wala takun mina alghafileena | واذكر ربك في نفسك تضرعا وخيفة ودون الجهر من القول بالغدو والآصال ولا تكن من الغافلين وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعاً وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| في - in| نفسك - yourself| تضرعا - humbly| وخيفة - and (in) fear| ودون - and without| الجهر - the loudness| من - of| القول - [the] words,| بالغدو - in the mornings| والآصال - and (in) the evenings.| ولا - And (do) not| تكن - be| من - among| الغافلين - the heedless.| | ||||||
| 5 [11:40] | Hatta itha jaaamruna wafara alttannooru qulna ihmilfeeha min kullin zawjayni ithnayni waahlaka illaman sabaqa AAalayhi alqawlu waman amana wama amanamaAAahu illa qaleelun | حتى إذا جاء أمرنا وفار التنور قلنا احمل فيها من كل زوجين اثنين وأهلك إلا من سبق عليه القول ومن آمن وما آمن معه إلا قليل حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ قُلْنَا احْمِلْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلاَّ مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ وَمَنْ آمَنَ وَمَا آمَنَ مَعَهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ | |||||
| Words | |حتى - Till| إذا - when| جاء - came| أمرنا - Our command,| وفار - and overflowed| التنور - the oven,| قلنا - We said,| احمل - "Load| فيها - in it| من - of| كل - every kind| زوجين - a pair| اثنين - two,| وأهلك - and your family| إلا - except| من - who| سبق - has preceded| عليه - against him| القول - the word,| ومن - and whoever| آمن - believed."| وما - And not| آمن - believed| معه - with him| إلا - except| قليل - a few.| | ||||||
| 6 [13:10] | Sawaon minkum man asarra alqawlawaman jahara bihi waman huwa mustakhfin biallayli wasaribunbialnnahari | سواء منكم من أسر القول ومن جهر به ومن هو مستخف بالليل وسارب بالنهار سَوَاءٌ مِّنكُم مَّنْ أَسَرَّ الْقَوْلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍ بِاللَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌ بِالنَّهَارِ | |||||
| Words | |سواء - (It is) same (to Him)| منكم - [of you]| من - (one) who| أسر - conceals| القول - the speech| ومن - or (one) who| جهر - publicizes| به - it| ومن - and (one) who| هو - [he]| مستخف - (is) hidden| بالليل - by night| وسارب - or goes freely| بالنهار - by day.| | ||||||
| 7 [13:33] | Afaman huwa qa-imun AAalakulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaqul sammoohum am tunabbi-oonahu bima la yaAAlamufee al-ardi am bithahirin minaalqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddooAAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min hadin | أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل سموهم أم تنبئونه بما لا يعلم في الأرض أم بظاهر من القول بل زين للذين كفروا مكرهم وصدوا عن السبيل ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَاهِرٍ مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Is then He Who| هو - (He)| قائم - (is) a Maintainer| على - of| كل - every| نفس - soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it has earned?| وجعلوا - Yet they ascribe| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners.| قل - Say,| سموهم - "Name them.| أم - Or| تنبئونه - (do) you inform Him| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - He knows| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| بظاهر - of the apparent| من - of| القول - the words?"| بل - Nay,| زين - (is) made fair-seeming| للذين - to those who| كفروا - disbelieve| مكرهم - their plotting,| وصدوا - and they are hindered| عن - from| السبيل - the Path.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - (by) Allah| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:86] | Wa-itha raa allatheenaashrakoo shurakaahum qaloo rabbana haola-ishurakaona allatheena kunna nadAAoomin doonika faalqaw ilayhimu alqawla innakum lakathiboona | وإذا رأى الذين أشركوا شركاءهم قالوا ربنا هؤلاء شركاؤنا الذين كنا ندعو من دونك فألقوا إليهم القول إنكم لكاذبون وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ شُرَكَاءَهُمْ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا هَـؤُلاَءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا الَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوْاْ مِن دُونِكَ فَألْقَوْا إِلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأى - (will) see| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associated partners with Allah| شركاءهم - their partners.| قالوا - They will say,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| هؤلاء - these| شركاؤنا - (are) our partners| الذين - those whom| كنا - we used to| ندعو - invoke| من - besides You."| دونك - besides You."| فألقوا - But they (will) throw back| إليهم - at them| القول - (their) word,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| لكاذبون - (are) surely liars."| | ||||||
| 9 [17:16] | Wa-itha aradna an nuhlikaqaryatan amarna mutrafeeha fafasaqoo feehafahaqqa AAalayha alqawlu fadammarnahatadmeeran | وإذا أردنا أن نهلك قرية أمرنا مترفيها ففسقوا فيها فحق عليها القول فدمرناها تدميرا وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أردنا - We intend| أن - that| نهلك - We destroy| قرية - a town,| أمرنا - We order| مترفيها - its wealthy people| ففسقوا - but they defiantly disobey| فيها - therein;| فحق - so (is) proved true| عليها - against it| القول - the word,| فدمرناها - and We destroy it| تدميرا - (with) destruction.| | ||||||
| 10 [21:4] | Qala rabbee yaAAlamu alqawla fee alssama-iwaal-ardi wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu | قال ربي يعلم القول في السماء والأرض وهو السميع العليم قَالَ رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ربي - "My Lord| يعلم - knows| القول - the word| في - in| السماء - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| وهو - And He| السميع - (is) the All-Hearer,| العليم - the All-Knower."| | ||||||
| 11 [21:110] | Innahu yaAAlamu aljahra mina alqawliwayaAAlamu ma taktumoona | إنه يعلم الجهر من القول ويعلم ما تكتمون إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنه - Indeed, He| يعلم - knows| الجهر - the declared| من - [of]| القول - [the] speech| ويعلم - and He knows| ما - what| تكتمون - you conceal.| | ||||||
| 12 [22:24] | Wahudoo ila alttayyibimina alqawli wahudoo ila sirati alhameedi | وهدوا إلى الطيب من القول وهدوا إلى صراط الحميد وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوا إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ | |||||
| Words | |وهدوا - And they were guided| إلى - to| الطيب - the good| من - of| القول - the speech,| وهدوا - and they were guided| إلى - to| صراط - (the) path| الحميد - (of) the Praiseworthy.| | ||||||
| 13 [23:27] | Faawhayna ilayhi ani isnaAAialfulka bi-aAAyunina wawahyina fa-ithajaa amruna wafara alttannooru faoslukfeeha min kullin zawjayni ithnayni waahlaka illaman sabaqa AAalayhi alqawlu minhum wala tukhatibneefee allatheena thalamoo innahum mughraqoona | فأوحينا إليه أن اصنع الفلك بأعيننا ووحينا فإذا جاء أمرنا وفار التنور فاسلك فيها من كل زوجين اثنين وأهلك إلا من سبق عليه القول منهم ولا تخاطبني في الذين ظلموا إنهم مغرقون فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ فَاسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِي فِي الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأوحينا - So We inspired| إليه - to him,| أن - "That| اصنع - construct| الفلك - the ship| بأعيننا - under Our eyes,| ووحينا - and Our inspiration,| فإذا - then when| جاء - comes| أمرنا - Our Command| وفار - and gushes forth| التنور - the oven,| فاسلك - then put| فيها - into it| من - of| كل - every (kind)| زوجين - (of) mates| اثنين - two| وأهلك - and your family,| إلا - except| من - those| سبق - (has) preceded| عليه - against whom| القول - the Word| منهم - thereof.| ولا - And (do) not| تخاطبني - address Me| في - concerning| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged,| إنهم - indeed, they| مغرقون - (are) the ones to be drowned.| | ||||||
| 14 [23:68] | Afalam yaddabbaroo alqawla am jaahumma lam ya/ti abaahumu al-awwaleena | أفلم يدبروا القول أم جاءهم ما لم يأت آباءهم الأولين أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَاءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ آبَاءَهُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||

| 15 [27:82] | Wa-itha waqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhimakhrajna lahum dabbatan mina al-arditukallimuhum anna alnnasa kanoo bi-ayatinala yooqinoona | وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنون وَإِذَا وَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَخْرَجْنَا لَهُمْ دَابَّةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمْ أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| وقع - (is) fulfilled| القول - the word| عليهم - against them,| أخرجنا - We will bring forth| لهم - for them| دابة - a creature| من - from| الأرض - the earth| تكلمهم - speaking to them,| أن - that| الناس - the people| كانوا - were,| بآياتنا - of Our Signs,| لا - not| يوقنون - certain.| | ||||||
| 16 [27:85] | WawaqaAAa alqawlu AAalayhim bima thalamoofahum la yantiqoona | ووقع القول عليهم بما ظلموا فهم لا ينطقون وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ووقع - And (will be) fulfilled| القول - the word| عليهم - against them| بما - because| ظلموا - they wronged,| فهم - and they| لا - (will) not| ينطقون - speak.| | ||||||
| 17 [28:51] | Walaqad wassalna lahumualqawla laAAallahum yatathakkaroona | ولقد وصلنا لهم القول لعلهم يتذكرون وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ الْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed,| وصلنا - We have conveyed| لهم - to them| القول - the Word| لعلهم - so that they may| يتذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 18 [28:63] | Qala allatheena haqqaAAalayhimu alqawlu rabbana haola-i allatheenaaghwayna aghwaynahum kama ghawaynatabarra/na ilayka ma kanoo iyyanayaAAbudoona | قال الذين حق عليهم القول ربنا هؤلاء الذين أغوينا أغويناهم كما غوينا تبرأنا إليك ما كانوا إيانا يعبدون قَالَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَا أَغْوَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا تَبَرَّأْنَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كَانُوا إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - (Will) say| الذين - those -| حق - (has) come true| عليهم - against whom| القول - the Word,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| هؤلاء - These| الذين - (are) those whom| أغوينا - we led astray.| أغويناهم - We led them astray| كما - as| غوينا - we were astray.| تبرأنا - We declare our innocence| إليك - before You.| ما - Not| كانوا - they used (to)| إيانا - worship us."| يعبدون - worship us."| | ||||||
| 19 [32:13] | Walaw shi-na laataynakulla nafsin hudaha walakin haqqaalqawlu minnee laamlaanna jahannama mina aljinnati waalnnasiajmaAAeena | ولو شئنا لآتينا كل نفس هداها ولكن حق القول مني لأملأن جهنم من الجنة والناس أجمعين وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَآتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَاهَا وَلَكِنْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شئنا - We (had) willed,| لآتينا - surely We (would) have given| كل - every| نفس - soul| هداها - its guidance,| ولكن - but| حق - (is) true| القول - the Word| مني - from Me| لأملأن - that I will surely fill| جهنم - Hell| من - with| الجنة - the jinn| والناس - and the men| أجمعين - together.| | ||||||
| 20 [34:31] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo lannu/mina bihatha alqur-ani wala biallatheebayna yadayhi walaw tara ithi alththalimoonamawqoofoona AAinda rabbihim yarjiAAu baAAduhum ilabaAAdin alqawla yaqoolu allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo lawla antum lakunnamu/mineena | وقال الذين كفروا لن نؤمن بهذا القرآن ولا بالذي بين يديه ولو ترى إذ الظالمون موقوفون عند ربهم يرجع بعضهم إلى بعض القول يقول الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا لولا أنتم لكنا مؤمنين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
