| 1 [2:58] | Wa-ith qulna odkhuloo hathihialqaryata fakuloo minha haythu shi/tum raghadan waodkhulooalbaba sujjadan waqooloo hittatun naghfirlakum khatayakum wasanazeedu almuhsineena |  وإذ قلنا ادخلوا هذه القرية فكلوا منها حيث شئتم رغدا وادخلوا الباب سجدا وقولوا حطة نغفر لكم خطاياكم وسنزيد المحسنينوَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُواْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَداً وَّادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّداً وَّقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلنا - We said,| ادخلوا - "Enter| هذه - this| القرية - town,| فكلوا - then eat| منها - from| حيث - wherever| شئتم - you wish[ed]| رغدا - abundantly,| وادخلوا - and enter| الباب - the gate| سجدا - prostrating.| وقولوا - And say,| حطة - "Repentance."| نغفر - We will forgive| لكم - for you| خطاياكم - your sins.| وسنزيد - And We will increase| المحسنين - the good-doers (in reward)."| | ||||||
| 2 [4:75] | Wama lakum la tuqatiloonafee sabeeli Allahi waalmustadAAafeena mina alrrijaliwaalnnisa-i waalwildani allatheenayaqooloona rabbana akhrijna min hathihialqaryati alththalimi ahluhawaijAAal lana min ladunka waliyyan waijAAallana min ladunka naseeran | وما لكم لا تقاتلون في سبيل الله والمستضعفين من الرجال والنساء والولدان الذين يقولون ربنا أخرجنا من هذه القرية الظالم أهلها واجعل لنا من لدنك وليا واجعل لنا من لدنك نصيرا وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| لكم - for you| لا - (that) not| تقاتلون - you fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| والمستضعفين - and (for) those who are weak| من - among| الرجال - the men| والنساء - and the women| والولدان - and the children,| الذين - those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord| أخرجنا - take us out| من - of| هذه - this| القرية - [the] town| الظالم - [the] oppressor(s)| أهلها - (are) its people| واجعل - and appoint| لنا - for us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| وليا - a protector| واجعل - and appoint| لنا - for us| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| نصيرا - a helper.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:161] | Wa-ith qeela lahumu oskunoo hathihialqaryata wakuloo minha haythu shi/tum waqooloo hittatunwaodkhuloo albaba sujjadan naghfir lakum khatee-atikumsanazeedu almuhsineena | وإذ قيل لهم اسكنوا هذه القرية وكلوا منها حيث شئتم وقولوا حطة وادخلوا الباب سجدا نغفر لكم خطيئاتكم سنزيد المحسنين وَإِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْكُنُواْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ وَادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطِيئَاتِكُمْ سَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قيل - it was said| لهم - to them,| اسكنوا - "Live| هذه - (in) this| القرية - city| وكلوا - and eat| منها - from it| حيث - wherever| شئتم - you wish| وقولوا - and say,| حطة - "Repentance,"| وادخلوا - and enter| الباب - the gate| سجدا - prostrating,| نغفر - We will forgive| لكم - for you| خطيئاتكم - your sins.| سنزيد - We will increase (reward)| المحسنين - (of) the good-doers."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:163] | Wais-alhum AAani alqaryati allatee kanathadirata albahri ith yaAAdoona fee alssabtiith ta/teehim heetanuhum yawma sabtihimshurraAAan wayawma la yasbitoona la ta/teehim kathalikanabloohum bima kanoo yafsuqoona | واسألهم عن القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر إذ يعدون في السبت إذ تأتيهم حيتانهم يوم سبتهم شرعا ويوم لا يسبتون لا تأتيهم كذلك نبلوهم بما كانوا يفسقون وسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ إِذْ يَعْدُونَ فِي السَّبْتِ إِذْ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعاً وَيَوْمَ لاَ يَسْبِتُونَ لاَ تَأْتِيهِمْ كَذَلِكَ نَبْلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسألهم - And ask them| عن - about| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| حاضرة - situated| البحر - (by) the sea,| إذ - when| يعدون - they transgressed| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath,| إذ - when| تأتيهم - came to them| حيتانهم - their fish| يوم - (on the) day| سبتهم - (of) their Sabbath| شرعا - visibly| ويوم - and (on the) day| لا - not| يسبتون - they had Sabbath| لا - (they did) not| تأتيهم - come to them.| كذلك - Thus| نبلوهم - We test them| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 5 [12:82] | Wais-ali alqaryata allatee kunnafeeha waalAAeera allatee aqbalna feehawa-inna lasadiqoona | واسأل القرية التي كنا فيها والعير التي أقبلنا فيها وإنا لصادقون وَاسْأَلِ الْقَرْيَةَ الَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَالْعِيْرَ الَّتِي أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسأل - And ask| القرية - the town| التي - where| كنا - we were| فيها - [in it],| والعير - and the caravan| التي - which| أقبلنا - we returned| فيها - [in it].| وإنا - And indeed, we| لصادقون - surely (are) truthful.'"| | ||||||
| 6 [21:74] | Walootan ataynahu hukmanwaAAilman wanajjaynahu mina alqaryati allatee kanattaAAmalu alkhaba-itha innahum kanoo qawma saw-in fasiqeena | ولوطا آتيناه حكما وعلما ونجيناه من القرية التي كانت تعمل الخبائث إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فاسقين وَلُوطًا آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولوطا - And (to) Lut| آتيناه - We gave him| حكما - judgment| وعلما - and knowledge,| ونجيناه - and We saved him| من - from| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| تعمل - doing| الخبائث - wicked deeds.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| قوم - a people| سوء - evil,| فاسقين - defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 7 [25:40] | Walaqad ataw AAala alqaryati allateeomtirat matara alssaw-i afalam yakoonooyarawnaha bal kanoo la yarjoona nushooran | ولقد أتوا على القرية التي أمطرت مطر السوء أفلم يكونوا يرونها بل كانوا لا يرجون نشورا وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أتوا - they have come| على - upon| القرية - the town| التي - which| أمطرت - was showered| مطر - (with) a rain| السوء - (of) evil.| أفلم - Then do not| يكونوا - they [were]| يرونها - see it?| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they are| لا - not| يرجون - expecting| نشورا - Resurrection.| | ||||||
| 8 [29:31] | Walamma jaat rusulunaibraheema bialbushra qaloo innamuhlikoo ahli hathihi alqaryati inna ahlaha kanoothalimeena | ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى قالوا إنا مهلكو أهل هذه القرية إن أهلها كانوا ظالمين وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَى قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُواْ أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءت - came| رسلنا - Our messengers| إبراهيم - (to) Ibrahim| بالبشرى - with the glad tidings| قالوا - they said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| مهلكو - (are) going to destroy| أهل - (the) people| هذه - (of) this| القرية - town.| إن - Indeed,| أهلها - its people| كانوا - are| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 9 [29:34] | Inna munziloona AAala ahli hathihialqaryati rijzan mina alssama-i bima kanooyafsuqoona | إنا منزلون على أهل هذه القرية رجزا من السماء بما كانوا يفسقون إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, we| منزلون - (will) bring down| على - on| أهل - (the) people| هذه - (of) this| القرية - town| رجزا - a punishment| من - from| السماء - (the) sky,| بما - because| كانوا - they have been| يفسقون - defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 10 [36:13] | Waidrib lahum mathalan as-habaalqaryati ith jaaha almursaloona | واضرب لهم مثلا أصحاب القرية إذ جاءها المرسلون وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلاً أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ | |||||
