| 1 [25:45] | Alam tara ila rabbika kayfa madda alththillawalaw shaa lajaAAalahu sakinan thumma jaAAalnaalshshamsa AAalayhi daleelan |  ألم تر إلى ربك كيف مد الظل ولو شاء لجعله ساكنا ثم جعلنا الشمس عليه دليلاأَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do you not| تر - see| إلى - [to]| ربك - your Lord| كيف - how| مد - He extends| الظل - the shadow?| ولو - And if| شاء - He willed,| لجعله - surely He (could) have made it| ساكنا - stationary.| ثم - Then| جعلنا - We made| الشمس - the sun| عليه - for it| دليلا - an indication.| | ||||||
| 2 [28:24] | Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawallaila alththilli faqala rabbiinnee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun | فسقى لهما ثم تولى إلى الظل فقال رب إني لما أنزلت إلي من خير فقير فَسَقَى لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّى إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ | |||||
