| 1 [9:86] | Wa-itha onzilat sooratun an aminoobiAllahi wajahidoo maAAa rasoolihi ista/thanakaoloo alttawli minhum waqaloo tharnanakun maAAa alqaAAideena |  وإذا أنزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدينوَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَجَاهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُواْ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أنزلت - was revealed| سورة - a Surah| أن - that;| آمنوا - believe| بالله - in Allah| وجاهدوا - and strive| مع - with| رسوله - His Messenger,| استأذنك - ask your permission| أولو - (the) men| الطول - (of) wealth| منهم - among them| وقالوا - and said,| ذرنا - "Leave us,| نكن - (to) be| مع - with| القاعدين - those who sit."| | ||||||
| 2 [40:3] | Ghafiri alththanbi waqabilialttawbi shadeedi alAAiqabi thee alttawlila ilaha illa huwa ilayhi almaseeru | غافر الذنب وقابل التوب شديد العقاب ذي الطول لا إله إلا هو إليه المصير غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
