| 1 [2:257] | Allahu waliyyu allatheena amanooyukhrijuhum mina alththulumati ilaalnnoori waallatheena kafaroo awliyaohumualttaghootu yukhrijoonahum mina alnnoori ilaalththulumati ola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona |  الله ولي الذين آمنوا يخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور والذين كفروا أولياؤهم الطاغوت يخرجونهم من النور إلى الظلمات أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدوناللّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُرِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| ولي - (is the) Protecting Guardian| الذين - (of) those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| يخرجهم - He brings them out| من - from| الظلمات - [the] darkness| إلى - towards| النور - [the] light.| والذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieve(d)| أولياؤهم - their guardians| الطاغوت - (are) the evil ones,| يخرجونهم - they bring them out| من - from| النور - the light| إلى - towards| الظلمات - [the] darkness.| أولئك - Those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:60] | Alam tara ila allatheenayazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wamaonzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghootiwaqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanuan yudillahum dalalan baAAeedan | ألم تر إلى الذين يزعمون أنهم آمنوا بما أنزل إليك وما أنزل من قبلك يريدون أن يتحاكموا إلى الطاغوت وقد أمروا أن يكفروا به ويريد الشيطان أن يضلهم ضلالا بعيدا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُواْ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُواْ إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُواْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِهِ وَيُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| يزعمون - claim| أنهم - that they| آمنوا - believe| بما - in what| أنزل - (is) revealed| إليك - to you| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| من - from| قبلك - before you?| يريدون - They wish| أن - to| يتحاكموا - go for judgment| إلى - to| الطاغوت - the false deities| وقد - and surely| أمروا - they were ordered| أن - to| يكفروا - reject| به - [with] it.| ويريد - And wishes| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - to| يضلهم - mislead them| ضلالا - astray -| بعيدا - far away.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:76] | Allatheena amanoo yuqatiloonafee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena kafaroo yuqatiloonafee sabeeli alttaghooti faqatiloo awliyaaalshshaytani inna kayda alshshaytanikana daAAeefan | الذين آمنوا يقاتلون في سبيل الله والذين كفروا يقاتلون في سبيل الطاغوت فقاتلوا أولياء الشيطان إن كيد الشيطان كان ضعيفا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| آمنوا - believe,| يقاتلون - they fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah;| والذين - and those| كفروا - who disbelieve,| يقاتلون - they fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الطاغوت - (of) the false deities.| فقاتلوا - So fight (against)| أولياء - (the) friends| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan.| إن - Indeed,| كيد - (the) strategy| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan| كان - is| ضعيفا - weak.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:60] | Qul hal onabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikamathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahuwaghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeerawaAAabada alttaghooti ola-ika sharrun makananwaadallu AAan sawa-i alssabeeli | قل هل أنبئكم بشر من ذلك مثوبة عند الله من لعنه الله وغضب عليه وجعل منهم القردة والخنازير وعبد الطاغوت أولئك شر مكانا وأضل عن سواء السبيل قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَـئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Shall| أنبئكم - I inform you| بشر - (of) worse| من - than| ذلك - that| مثوبة - (as) recompense| عند - from| الله - Allah?| من - Whom| لعنه - has (been) cursed| الله - (by) Allah| وغضب - and He became angry| عليه - with him| وجعل - and made| منهم - of them| القردة - [the] apes| والخنازير - and [the] swines,| وعبد - and (who) worshipped| الطاغوت - the false deities.| أولئك - Those| شر - (are) worse| مكانا - (in) position| وأضل - and farthest astray| عن - from| سواء - (the) even| السبيل - way."| | ||||||
| 5 [16:36] | Walaqad baAAathna fee kulli ommatinrasoolan ani oAAbudoo Allaha waijtaniboo alttaghootafaminhum man hada Allahu waminhum man haqqatAAalayhi alddalalatu faseeroo fee al-ardifaonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatualmukaththibeena | ولقد بعثنا في كل أمة رسولا أن اعبدوا الله واجتنبوا الطاغوت فمنهم من هدى الله ومنهم من حقت عليه الضلالة فسيروا في الأرض فانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولاً أَنِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُواْ الطَّاغُوتَ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى اللّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلاَلَةُ فَسِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| بعثنا - We sent| في - into| كل - every| أمة - nation| رسولا - a Messenger,| أن - that,| اعبدوا - "Worship| الله - Allah,| واجتنبوا - and avoid| الطاغوت - the false deities."| فمنهم - Then among them| من - (were some) whom| هدى - Allah guided,| الله - Allah guided,| ومنهم - and among them| من - (were) some| حقت - was justified| عليه - on them| الضلالة - the straying.| فسيروا - So travel| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فانظروا - and see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - the end| المكذبين - (of) the deniers.| | ||||||
| 6 [39:17] | Waallatheena ijtanaboo alttaghootaan yaAAbudooha waanaboo ila Allahilahumu albushra fabashshir AAibadi | والذين اجتنبوا الطاغوت أن يعبدوها وأنابوا إلى الله لهم البشرى فبشر عباد وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| اجتنبوا - avoid| الطاغوت - the false gods| أن - lest| يعبدوها - they worship them| وأنابوا - and turn| إلى - to| الله - Allah,| لهم - for them| البشرى - (are) glad tidings.| فبشر - So give glad tidings| عباد - (to) My slaves| | ||||||
