| 1 [2:148] | Walikullin wijhatun huwa muwalleehafaistabiqoo alkhayrati aynama takoonoo ya/tibikumu Allahu jameeAAan inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun |  ولكل وجهة هو موليها فاستبقوا الخيرات أين ما تكونوا يأت بكم الله جميعا إن الله على كل شيء قديروَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُواْ الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُواْ يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللّهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for everyone| وجهة - (is) a direction -| هو - he| موليها - turns towards it,| فاستبقوا - so race| الخيرات - (to) the good.| أين - Wherever| ما - that| تكونوا - you will be| يأت - will bring| بكم - you| الله - (by) Allah| جميعا - together.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:114] | Yu/minoona biAllahi waalyawmial-akhiri waya/muroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawnaAAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waola-ikamina alssaliheena | يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر ويسارعون في الخيرات وأولئك من الصالحين يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يؤمنون - They believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last| ويأمرون - and they enjoin| بالمعروف - [with] the right| وينهون - and forbid| عن - [from]| المنكر - the wrong| ويسارعون - and they hasten| في - in| الخيرات - the good deeds.| وأولئك - And those| من - (are) from| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:48] | Waanzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqimusaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi mina alkitabiwamuhayminan AAalayhi faohkum baynahum bimaanzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum AAammajaaka mina alhaqqi likullin jaAAalna minkumshirAAatan waminhajan walaw shaa AllahulajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin liyabluwakumfeema atakum faistabiqoo alkhayratiila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbi-okum bimakuntum feehi takhtalifoona | وأنزلنا إليك الكتاب بالحق مصدقا لما بين يديه من الكتاب ومهيمنا عليه فاحكم بينهم بما أنزل الله ولا تتبع أهواءهم عما جاءك من الحق لكل جعلنا منكم شرعة ومنهاجا ولو شاء الله لجعلكم أمة واحدة ولكن ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم فاستبقوا الخيرات إلى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم فيه تختلفون وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَآ آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى اللهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنزلنا - And We revealed| إليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book| بالحق - in [the] truth,| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| بين - (was) before| يديه - his hands| من - of| الكتاب - the Book| ومهيمنا - and a guardian| عليه - over it.| فاحكم - So judge| بينهم - between them| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their vain desires| عما - when| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| الحق - the truth.| لكل - For each| جعلنا - We have made| منكم - for you| شرعة - a law| ومنهاجا - and a clear way.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| لجعلكم - He (would have) made you| أمة - a community,| واحدة - one,| ولكن - [and] but| ليبلوكم - to test you| في - in| ما - what| آتاكم - He (has) given you,| فاستبقوا - so race| الخيرات - (to) the good.| إلى - To| الله - Allah| مرجعكم - you will return,| جميعا - all,| فينبئكم - then He will inform you| بما - of what| كنتم - you were| فيه - concerning it| تختلفون - differing.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:88] | Lakini alrrasoolu waallatheenaamanoo maAAahu jahadoo bi-amwalihimwaanfusihim waola-ika lahumu alkhayratu waola-ikahumu almuflihoona | لكن الرسول والذين آمنوا معه جاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم وأولئك لهم الخيرات وأولئك هم المفلحون لَـكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ جَاهَدُواْ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرَاتُ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لكن - But| الرسول - the Messenger| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him| جاهدوا - strove| بأموالهم - with their wealth| وأنفسهم - and their lives.| وأولئك - And those,| لهم - for them| الخيرات - (are) the good things,| وأولئك - and those -| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [21:73] | WajaAAalnahum a-immatan yahdoonabi-amrina waawhayna ilayhim fiAAla alkhayratiwa-iqama alssalati wa-eetaa alzzakatiwakanoo lana AAabideena | وجعلناهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وكانوا لنا عابدين وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلناهم - And We made them| أئمة - leaders,| يهدون - they guide| بأمرنا - by Our Command.| وأوحينا - And We inspired| إليهم - to them| فعل - (the) doing| الخيرات - (of) good deeds,| وإقام - and establishment| الصلاة - (of) the prayer| وإيتاء - and giving| الزكاة - (of) zakah;| وكانوا - and they were| لنا - of Us| عابدين - worshippers.| | ||||||
| 6 [21:90] | Faistajabna lahu wawahabnalahu yahya waaslahna lahuzawjahu innahum kanoo yusariAAoona fee alkhayratiwayadAAoonana raghaban warahaban wakanoo lanakhashiAAeena | فاستجبنا له ووهبنا له يحيى وأصلحنا له زوجه إنهم كانوا يسارعون في الخيرات ويدعوننا رغبا ورهبا وكانوا لنا خاشعين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَى وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجبنا - So We responded| له - to him,| ووهبنا - and We bestowed| له - on him| يحيى - Yahya,| وأصلحنا - and We cured| له - for him| زوجه - his wife.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - used (to)| يسارعون - hasten| في - in| الخيرات - good deeds,| ويدعوننا - and they supplicate to Us| رغبا - (in) hope| ورهبا - and fear,| وكانوا - and they were| لنا - to Us| خاشعين - humbly submissive.| | ||||||
| 7 [23:56] | NusariAAu lahum fee alkhayratibal la yashAAuroona | نسارع لهم في الخيرات بل لا يشعرون نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ بَل لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |نسارع - We hasten| لهم - to them| في - in| الخيرات - the good?| بل - Nay,| لا - not| يشعرون - they perceive.| | ||||||
| 8 [23:61] | Ola-ika yusariAAoona feealkhayrati wahum laha sabiqoona | أولئك يسارعون في الخيرات وهم لها سابقون أُوْلَئِكَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - (It is) those| يسارعون - who hasten| في - in| الخيرات - the good (deeds)| وهم - and they| لها - in them| سابقون - (are) foremost.| | ||||||
