| 1 [38:20] | Washadadna mulkahu waataynahualhikmata wafasla alkhitabi |  وشددنا ملكه وآتيناه الحكمة وفصل الخطابوَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وشددنا - And We strengthened| ملكه - his kingdom| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الحكمة - [the] wisdom| وفصل - and decisive| الخطاب - speech.| | ||||||
| 2 [38:23] | Inna hatha akhee lahu tisAAunwatisAAoona naAAjatan waliya naAAjatun wahidatun faqalaakfilneeha waAAazzanee fee alkhitabi | إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها وعزني في الخطاب إِنَّ هَذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| أخي - (is) my brother,| له - he has| تسع - ninety-nine| وتسعون - ninety-nine| نعجة - ewe(s)| ولي - while I have| نعجة - ewe| واحدة - one;| فقال - so he said,| أكفلنيها - "Entrust her to me,"| وعزني - and he overpowered me| في - in| الخطاب - [the] speech."| | ||||||
