| 1 [2:255] | Allahu la ilaha illahuwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la ta/khuthuhusinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi man tha allatheeyashfaAAu AAindahu illa bi-ithnihi yaAAlamu mabayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoonabishay-in min AAilmihi illa bima shaawasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waal-ardawala yaooduhu hifthuhumawahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu |  الله لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم لا تأخذه سنة ولا نوم له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض من ذا الذي يشفع عنده إلا بإذنه يعلم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم ولا يحيطون بشيء من علمه إلا بما شاء وسع كرسيه السماوات والأرض ولا يئوده حفظهما وهو العلي العظيماللّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah -| لا - (there is) no| إله - God| إلا - except| هو - Him,| الحي - the Ever-Living,| القيوم - the Sustainer of all that exists.| لا - Not| تأخذه - overtakes Him| سنة - slumber| ولا - [and] not| نوم - sleep.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - what(ever)| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and what(ever)| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| من - Who| ذا - (is) the one| الذي - who| يشفع - can intercede| عنده - with Him| إلا - except| بإذنه - by His permission.| يعلم - He knows| ما - what| بين - (is)| أيديهم - before them| وما - and what| خلفهم - (is) behind them.| ولا - And not| يحيطون - they encompass| بشيء - anything| من - of| علمه - His Knowledge| إلا - except| بما - [of] what| شاء - He willed.| وسع - Extends| كرسيه - His Throne| السماوات - (to) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| ولا - And not| يئوده - tires Him| حفظهما - (the) guarding of both of them.| وهو - And He| العلي - (is) the Most High,| العظيم - the Most Great.| | ||||||

| 3 [3:27] | Tooliju allayla fee alnnahariwatooliju alnnahara fee allayli watukhriju alhayyamina almayyiti watukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi watarzuquman tashao bighayri hisabin | تولج الليل في النهار وتولج النهار في الليل وتخرج الحي من الميت وتخرج الميت من الحي وترزق من تشاء بغير حساب تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||

| 4 [6:95] | Inna Allaha faliqu alhabbiwaalnnawa yukhriju alhayya mina almayyitiwamukhriju almayyiti mina alhayyi thalikumu Allahufaanna tu/fakoona | إن الله فالق الحب والنوى يخرج الحي من الميت ومخرج الميت من الحي ذلكم الله فأنى تؤفكون إِنَّ اللّهَ فَالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتِ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ذَلِكُمُ اللّهُ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| فالق - (is the) Cleaver| الحب - (of) the grain| والنوى - and the date-seed.| يخرج - He brings forth| الحي - the living| من - from| الميت - the dead| ومخرج - and brings forth| الميت - the dead| من - from| الحي - the living.| ذلكم - That| الله - (is) Allah,| فأنى - so how| تؤفكون - are you deluded?| | ||||||
| 5 [10:31] | Qul man yarzuqukum mina alssama-iwaal-ardi amman yamliku alssamAAa waal-absarawaman yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti wayukhriju almayyitamina alhayyi waman yudabbiru al-amra fasayaqooloona Allahufaqul afala tattaqoona | قل من يرزقكم من السماء والأرض أمن يملك السمع والأبصار ومن يخرج الحي من الميت ويخرج الميت من الحي ومن يدبر الأمر فسيقولون الله فقل أفلا تتقون قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ والْأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ فَسَيَقُولُونَ اللّهُ فَقُلْ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| يرزقكم - provides for you| من - from| السماء - the sky| والأرض - and the earth?| أمن - Or who| يملك - controls| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight?| ومن - And who| يخرج - brings out| الحي - the living| من - from| الميت - the dead,| ويخرج - and brings forth| الميت - the dead| من - from| الحي - the living?| ومن - And who| يدبر - disposes| الأمر - the affairs?"| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| الله - "Allah."| فقل - Then say,| أفلا - "Then will not| تتقون - you fear (Him)?"| | ||||||
| 6 [25:58] | Watawakkal AAala alhayyi allatheela yamootu wasabbih bihamdihi wakafabihi bithunoobi AAibadihi khabeeran | وتوكل على الحي الذي لا يموت وسبح بحمده وكفى به بذنوب عباده خبيرا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِ وَكَفَى بِهِ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وتوكل - And put your trust| على - in| الحي - the Ever-Living,| الذي - the One Who| لا - does not die,| يموت - does not die,| وسبح - and glorify| بحمده - with His Praise.| وكفى - And sufficient is| به - He| بذنوب - regarding the sins| عباده - (of) His slaves,| خبيرا - All-Aware,| | ||||||
| 7 [30:19] | Yukhriju alhayya mina almayyitiwayukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi wayuhyee al-ardabaAAda mawtiha wakathalika tukhrajoona | يخرج الحي من الميت ويخرج الميت من الحي ويحيي الأرض بعد موتها وكذلك تخرجون يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَيُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَكَذَلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ | |||||

| 8 [40:65] | Huwa alhayyu la ilahailla huwa faodAAoohu mukhliseena lahu alddeenaalhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena | هو الحي لا إله إلا هو فادعوه مخلصين له الدين الحمد لله رب العالمين هُوَ الْحَيُّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
