| 1 [33:10] | Ith jaookum min fawqikum waminasfala minkum wa-ith zaghati al-absaruwabalaghati alquloobu alhanajira watathunnoonabiAllahi alththunoona |  إذ جاءوكم من فوقكم ومن أسفل منكم وإذ زاغت الأبصار وبلغت القلوب الحناجر وتظنون بالله الظنوناإِذْ جَاؤُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| جاءوكم - they came upon you| من - from| فوقكم - above you| ومن - and from| أسفل - below| منكم - you,| وإذ - and when| زاغت - grew wild| الأبصار - the eyes| وبلغت - and reached| القلوب - the hearts| الحناجر - the throats,| وتظنون - and you assumed| بالله - about Allah| الظنونا - the assumptions.| | ||||||
| 2 [40:18] | Waanthirhum yawma al-azifati ithialquloobu lada alhanajiri kathimeenama lilththalimeena min hameeminwala shafeeAAin yutaAAu | وأنذرهم يوم الآزفة إذ القلوب لدى الحناجر كاظمين ما للظالمين من حميم ولا شفيع يطاع وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ إِذِ الْقُلُوبُ لَدَى الْحَنَاجِرِ كَاظِمِينَ مَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ | |||||
| Words | |وأنذرهم - And warn them| يوم - (of the) Day| الآزفة - the Approaching,| إذ - when| القلوب - the hearts| لدى - (are) at| الحناجر - the throats,| كاظمين - choked.| ما - Not| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| من - any| حميم - intimate friend| ولا - and no| شفيع - intercessor| يطاع - (who) is obeyed.| | ||||||
