| 1 [3:155] | Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumualshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleemun |  إن الذين تولوا منكم يوم التقى الجمعان إنما استزلهم الشيطان ببعض ما كسبوا ولقد عفا الله عنهم إن الله غفور حليمإِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| تولوا - turned back| منكم - among you| يوم - (on the) day| التقى - met| الجمعان - the two hosts -| إنما - only| استزلهم - made them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ببعض - for some| ما - (of) what| كسبوا - they (had) earned.| ولقد - And surely| عفا - forgave| الله - Allah| عنهم - [on] them,| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:166] | Wama asabakum yawma iltaqaaljamAAani fabi-ithni Allahi waliyaAAlamaalmu/mineena | وما أصابكم يوم التقى الجمعان فبإذن الله وليعلم المؤمنين وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| أصابكم - struck you| يوم - (on the) day| التقى - (when) met| الجمعان - the two hosts| فبإذن - (was) by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah| وليعلم - and that He (might) make evident| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:41] | WaiAAlamoo annama ghanimtummin shay-in faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooliwalithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaibni alssabeeli in kuntum amantum biAllahiwama anzalna AAala AAabdina yawmaalfurqani yawma iltaqa aljamAAani waAllahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | واعلموا أنما غنمتم من شيء فأن لله خمسه وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل إن كنتم آمنتم بالله وما أنزلنا على عبدنا يوم الفرقان يوم التقى الجمعان والله على كل شيء قدير وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمْ آمَنتُمْ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أنما - that what| غنمتم - you obtain (as) spoils of war| من - of| شيء - anything,| فأن - then that,| لله - for Allah| خمسه - (is) one fifth of it| وللرسول - and for the Messenger| ولذي - and for the| القربى - near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the needy| وابن - and the| السبيل - wayfarer,| إن - if| كنتم - you| آمنتم - believe| بالله - in Allah,| وما - and (in) what| أنزلنا - We sent down| على - to| عبدنا - Our slave| يوم - (on the) day| الفرقان - (of) the criterion,| يوم - (the) day| التقى - (when) met| الجمعان - the two forces.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 4 [26:61] | Falamma taraa aljamAAaniqala as-habu moosa innalamudrakoona | فلما تراءى الجمعان قال أصحاب موسى إنا لمدركون فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَ الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَى إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| تراءى - saw each other| الجمعان - the two hosts,| قال - said| أصحاب - (the) companions| موسى - (of) Musa,| إنا - "Indeed, we| لمدركون - (are) surely to be overtaken."| | ||||||
