| 1 [2:189] | Yas-aloonaka AAani al-ahillati qul hiya mawaqeetulilnnasi waalhajji walaysa albirrubi-an ta/too albuyoota min thuhooriha walakinnaalbirra mani ittaqa wa/too albuyoota min abwabihawaittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum tuflihoona |  يسألونك عن الأهلة قل هي مواقيت للناس والحج وليس البر بأن تأتوا البيوت من ظهورها ولكن البر من اتقى وأتوا البيوت من أبوابها واتقوا الله لعلكم تفلحونيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَنْ تَأْتُواْ الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَى وَأْتُواْ الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الأهلة - the new moons.| قل - Say,| هي - "They| مواقيت - (are) indicators of periods| للناس - for the people,| والحج - and (for) the Hajj."| وليس - And it is not| البر - [the] righteousness| بأن - that| تأتوا - you come| البيوت - (to) the houses| من - from| ظهورها - their backs,| ولكن - [and] but| البر - [the] righteous| من - (is one) who| اتقى - fears (Allah).| وأتوا - And come| البيوت - (to) the houses| من - from| أبوابها - their doors.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - (be) successful.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:15] | Waallatee ya/teena alfahishatamin nisa-ikum faistashhidoo AAalayhinna arbaAAatanminkum fa-in shahidoo faamsikoohunna fee albuyooti hattayatawaffahunna almawtu aw yajAAala Allahu lahunnasabeelan | واللاتي يأتين الفاحشة من نسائكم فاستشهدوا عليهن أربعة منكم فإن شهدوا فأمسكوهن في البيوت حتى يتوفاهن الموت أو يجعل الله لهن سبيلا وَاللاَّتِي يَأْتِينَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُواْ عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعةً مِّنكُمْ فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ حَتَّى يَتَوَفَّاهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |واللاتي - And those who| يأتين - commit| الفاحشة - [the] immorality| من - from| نسائكم - your women| فاستشهدوا - then call to witness| عليهن - against them| أربعة - four| منكم - among you.| فإن - And if| شهدوا - they testify| فأمسكوهن - then confine them| في - in| البيوت - their houses| حتى - until| يتوفاهن - comes to them| الموت - [the] death| أو - or| يجعل - makes| الله - Allah| لهن - for them| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 3 [29:41] | Mathalu allatheena ittakhathoomin dooni Allahi awliyaa kamathali alAAankabootiittakhathat baytan wa-inna awhana albuyooti labaytualAAankabooti law kanoo yaAAlamoona | مثل الذين اتخذوا من دون الله أولياء كمثل العنكبوت اتخذت بيتا وإن أوهن البيوت لبيت العنكبوت لو كانوا يعلمون مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنكَبُوتِ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - (The) example| الذين - (of) those who| اتخذوا - take| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| أولياء - protectors| كمثل - (is) like| العنكبوت - the spider| اتخذت - who takes| بيتا - a house.| وإن - And indeed,| أوهن - the weakest| البيوت - (of) houses| لبيت - (is) surely (the) house| العنكبوت - (of) the spider,| لو - if (only)| كانوا - they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
