| 1 [9:23] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo abaakum wa-ikhwanakumawliyaa ini istahabboo alkufra AAala al-eemaniwaman yatawallahum minkum faola-ika humu alththalimoona |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا آباءكم وإخوانكم أولياء إن استحبوا الكفر على الإيمان ومن يتولهم منكم فأولئك هم الظالمونيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ آبَاءَكُمْ وَإِخْوَانَكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنِ اسْتَحَبُّواْ الْكُفْرَ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| آباءكم - your fathers| وإخوانكم - and your brothers| أولياء - (as) allies| إن - if| استحبوا - they prefer| الكفر - [the] disbelief| على - over| الإيمان - [the] belief.| ومن - And whoever| يتولهم - takes them as allies| منكم - among you,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 2 [40:10] | Inna allatheena kafaroo yunadawnalamaqtu Allahi akbaru min maqtikum anfusakum ithtudAAawna ila al-eemani fatakfuroona | إن الذين كفروا ينادون لمقت الله أكبر من مقتكم أنفسكم إذ تدعون إلى الإيمان فتكفرون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنَادَوْنَ لَمَقْتُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ مِن مَّقْتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِذْ تُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى الْإِيْمَانِ فَتَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| ينادون - will be cried out to them,| لمقت - "Certainly Allah's hatred| الله - "Certainly Allah's hatred| أكبر - (was) greater| من - than| مقتكم - your hatred| أنفسكم - (of) yourselves| إذ - when| تدعون - you were called| إلى - to| الإيمان - the faith,| فتكفرون - and you disbelieved.| | ||||||
| 3 [42:52] | Wakathalika awhaynailayka roohan min amrina ma kunta tadree maalkitabu wala al-eemanu walakinjaAAalnahu nooran nahdee bihi man nashao min AAibadinawa-innaka latahdee ila siratin mustaqeemin | وكذلك أوحينا إليك روحا من أمرنا ما كنت تدري ما الكتاب ولا الإيمان ولكن جعلناه نورا نهدي به من نشاء من عبادنا وإنك لتهدي إلى صراط مستقيم وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيْمَانُ وَلَكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ نَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you| روحا - an inspiration| من - by| أمرنا - Our Command.| ما - Not| كنت - (did) you| تدري - know| ما - what| الكتاب - the Book (is)| ولا - and not| الإيمان - the faith.| ولكن - But| جعلناه - We have made it| نورا - a light,| نهدي - We guide| به - with it| من - whom| نشاء - We will| من - of| عبادنا - Our slaves.| وإنك - And indeed, you| لتهدي - surely guide| إلى - to| صراط - (the) Path| مستقيم - Straight,| | ||||||
| 4 [49:7] | WaiAAlamoo anna feekum rasoola Allahilaw yuteeAAukum fee katheerin mina al-amri laAAanittum walakinnaAllaha habbaba ilaykumu al-eemanawazayyanahu fee quloobikum wakarraha ilaykumu alkufra waalfusooqawaalAAisyana ola-ika humu alrrashidoona | واعلموا أن فيكم رسول الله لو يطيعكم في كثير من الأمر لعنتم ولكن الله حبب إليكم الإيمان وزينه في قلوبكم وكره إليكم الكفر والفسوق والعصيان أولئك هم الراشدون وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيْمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أن - that| فيكم - among you| رسول - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| الله - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| لو - If| يطيعكم - he were to obey you| في - in| كثير - much| من - of| الأمر - the matter,| لعنتم - surely you would be in difficulty,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| حبب - has endeared| إليكم - to you| الإيمان - the Faith| وزينه - and has made it pleasing| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts| وكره - and has made hateful| إليكم - to you| الكفر - disbelief| والفسوق - and defiance| والعصيان - and disobedience.| أولئك - Those| هم - (are) they -| الراشدون - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 5 [49:11] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yaskhar qawmun min qawmin AAasa an yakoonookhayran minhum wala nisaon min nisa-in AAasaan yakunna khayran minhunna wala talmizoo anfusakum walatanabazoo bial-alqabi bi/sa al-ismualfusooqu baAAda al-eemani waman lam yatub faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يسخر قوم من قوم عسى أن يكونوا خيرا منهم ولا نساء من نساء عسى أن يكن خيرا منهن ولا تلمزوا أنفسكم ولا تنابزوا بالألقاب بئس الاسم الفسوق بعد الإيمان ومن لم يتب فأولئك هم الظالمون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَومٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِّن نِّسَاءٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ بِئْسَ الاِسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيْمَانِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Let) not| يسخر - ridicule| قوم - a people| من - [of]| قوم - (another) people,| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكونوا - they may be| خيرا - better| منهم - than them;| ولا - and (let) not| نساء - women| من - [of]| نساء - (other) women| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكن - they may be| خيرا - better| منهن - than them.| ولا - And (do) not| تلمزوا - insult| أنفسكم - yourselves| ولا - and (do) not| تنابزوا - call each other| بالألقاب - by nicknames.| بئس - Wretched is| الاسم - the name| الفسوق - (of) disobedience| بعد - after| الإيمان - the faith.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يتب - repent,| فأولئك - then those -| هم - they| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 6 [49:14] | Qalati al-aAArabu amannaqul lam tu/minoo walakin qooloo aslamna walammayadkhuli al-eemanu fee quloobikum wa-in tuteeAAooAllaha warasoolahu la yalitkum min aAAmalikumshay-an inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | قالت الأعراب آمنا قل لم تؤمنوا ولكن قولوا أسلمنا ولما يدخل الإيمان في قلوبكم وإن تطيعوا الله ورسوله لا يلتكم من أعمالكم شيئا إن الله غفور رحيم قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَكِن قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيْمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Say| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| آمنا - "We believe."| قل - Say,| لم - "Not| تؤمنوا - you believe;| ولكن - but| قولوا - say,| أسلمنا - "We have submitted,"| ولما - and has not yet| يدخل - entered| الإيمان - the faith| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وإن - But if| تطيعوا - you obey| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| لا - not| يلتكم - He will deprive you| من - of| أعمالكم - your deeds| شيئا - anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 7 [58:22] | La tajidu qawman yu/minoona biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri yuwaddoona man haddaAllaha warasoolahu walaw kanoo abaahumaw abnaahum aw ikhwanahum aw AAasheeratahum ola-ikakataba fee quloobihimu al-eemana waayyadahum biroohinminhu wayudkhiluhum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu ola-ika hizbu Allahiala inna hizba Allahi humu almuflihoona | لا تجد قوما يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر يوادون من حاد الله ورسوله ولو كانوا آباءهم أو أبناءهم أو إخوانهم أو عشيرتهم أولئك كتب في قلوبهم الإيمان وأيدهم بروح منه ويدخلهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه أولئك حزب الله ألا إن حزب الله هم المفلحون لَا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ يُوَادُّونَ مَنْ حَادَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَوْ كَانُوا آبَاءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَانَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيْمَانَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنْهُ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ أُوْلَئِكَ حِزْبُ اللَّهِ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - You will not find| تجد - You will not find| قوما - a people| يؤمنون - who believe| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last| يوادون - loving| من - (those) who| حاد - oppose| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| ولو - even if| كانوا - they were| آباءهم - their fathers| أو - or| أبناءهم - their sons| أو - or| إخوانهم - their brothers| أو - or| عشيرتهم - their kindred.| أولئك - Those -| كتب - He has decreed| في - within| قلوبهم - their hearts| الإيمان - faith| وأيدهم - and supported them| بروح - with a spirit| منه - from Him.| ويدخلهم - And He will admit them| جنات - (to) Gardens,| تجري - flow| من - from| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers,| خالدين - will abide forever| فيها - in it.| رضي - Allah is pleased| الله - Allah is pleased| عنهم - with them,| ورضوا - and they are pleased| عنه - with Him.| أولئك - Those| حزب - (are the) party| الله - (of) Allah.| ألا - No doubt!| إن - Indeed,| حزب - (the) party| الله - (of) Allah,| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
