| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[35:22] | Wama yastawee al-ahyaowala al-amwatu inna Allaha yusmiAAu man yashaowama anta bimusmiAAin man fee alquboori
|  وما يستوي الأحياء ولا الأموات إن الله يسمع من يشاء وما أنت بمسمع من في القبور
وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِي الْقُبُورِ |
| Words | |وما - And not| يستوي - equal| الأحياء - (are) the living| ولا - and not| الأموات - the dead.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يسمع - causes to hear| من - whom| يشاء - He wills,| وما - and not| أنت - you| بمسمع - can make hear| من - (those) who| في - (are) in| القبور - the graves.| |
