| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[9:5] | Fa-itha insalakha al-ashhuru alhurumufaoqtuloo almushrikeena haythu wajadtumoohum wakhuthoohumwaohsuroohum waoqAAudoo lahum kulla marsadinfa-in taboo waaqamoo alssalatawaatawoo alzzakata fakhalloo sabeelahum innaAllaha ghafoorun raheemun
|  فإذا انسلخ الأشهر الحرم فاقتلوا المشركين حيث وجدتموهم وخذوهم واحصروهم واقعدوا لهم كل مرصد فإن تابوا وأقاموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فخلوا سبيلهم إن الله غفور رحيم
فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُواْ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَوُاْ الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| انسلخ - have passed| الأشهر - the sacred months,| الحرم - the sacred months,| فاقتلوا - then kill| المشركين - the polytheists| حيث - wherever| وجدتموهم - you find them| وخذوهم - and seize them| واحصروهم - and besiege them| واقعدوا - and sit (in wait)| لهم - for them| كل - (at) every| مرصد - place of ambush.| فإن - But if| تابوا - they repent| وأقاموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah| فخلوا - then leave| سبيلهم - their way.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| |
