| 1 [12:6] | Wakathalika yajtabeeka rabbukawayuAAallimuka min ta/weeli al-ahadeethi wayutimmuniAAmatahu AAalayka waAAala ali yaAAqooba kamaatammaha AAala abawayka min qablu ibraheemawa-ishaqa inna rabbaka AAaleemun hakeemun |  وكذلك يجتبيك ربك ويعلمك من تأويل الأحاديث ويتم نعمته عليك وعلى آل يعقوب كما أتمها على أبويك من قبل إبراهيم وإسحاق إن ربك عليم حكيموَكَذَلِكَ يَجْتَبِيكَ رَبُّكَ وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَيُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى آلِ يَعْقُوبَ كَمَا أَتَمَّهَا عَلَى أَبَوَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| يجتبيك - will choose you| ربك - your Lord| ويعلمك - and will teach you| من - of| تأويل - (the) interpretation| الأحاديث - (of) the narratives| ويتم - and complete| نعمته - His Favor| عليك - on you| وعلى - and on| آل - (the) family| يعقوب - (of) Yaqub| كما - as| أتمها - He completed it| على - on| أبويك - your two forefathers| من - before -| قبل - before -| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسحاق - and Isaac.| إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord| عليم - (is) All-Knower,| حكيم - All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 2 [12:21] | Waqala allathee ishtarahumin misra liimraatihi akrimee mathwahu AAasaan yanfaAAana aw nattakhithahu waladan wakathalikamakkanna liyoosufa fee al-ardi walinuAAallimahu minta/weeli al-ahadeethi waAllahu ghalibunAAala amrihi walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona | وقال الذي اشتراه من مصر لامرأته أكرمي مثواه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وكذلك مكنا ليوسف في الأرض ولنعلمه من تأويل الأحاديث والله غالب على أمره ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَاللّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذي - the one who| اشتراه - bought him| من - of| مصر - Egypt| لامرأته - to his wife,| أكرمي - "Make comfortable| مثواه - his stay.| عسى - Perhaps| أن - that| ينفعنا - (he) will benefit us| أو - or| نتخذه - we will take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وكذلك - And thus| مكنا - We established| ليوسف - Yusuf| في - in| الأرض - the land| ولنعلمه - that We might teach him| من - (the) interpretation of| تأويل - (the) interpretation of| الأحاديث - the events.| والله - And Allah| غالب - (is) Predominant| على - over| أمره - His affairs,| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the people| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:101] | Rabbi qad ataytanee mina almulkiwaAAallamtanee min ta/weeli al-ahadeethi fatira alssamawatiwaal-ardi anta waliyyee fee alddunyawaal-akhirati tawaffanee musliman waalhiqneebialssaliheena | رب قد آتيتني من الملك وعلمتني من تأويل الأحاديث فاطر السماوات والأرض أنت وليي في الدنيا والآخرة توفني مسلما وألحقني بالصالحين رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |رب - My Lord,| قد - indeed,| آتيتني - you have given me| من - of| الملك - the sovereignty| وعلمتني - and taught me| من - of| تأويل - the interpretation| الأحاديث - of the events.| فاطر - Creator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| أنت - You| وليي - (are) my Protector,| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| توفني - Cause me to die| مسلما - (as) a Muslim,| وألحقني - and join me| بالصالحين - with the righteous."| | ||||||
