| 1 [3:13] | Qad kana lakum ayatun feefi-atayni iltaqata fi-atun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahiwaokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim ra/yaalAAayni waAllahu yu-ayyidu binasrihi manyashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absari |  قد كان لكم آية في فئتين التقتا فئة تقاتل في سبيل الله وأخرى كافرة يرونهم مثليهم رأي العين والله يؤيد بنصره من يشاء إن في ذلك لعبرة لأولي الأبصارقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَأُخْرَى كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ وَاللّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُوْلِي الْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Surely| كان - it was| لكم - for you| آية - a sign| في - in| فئتين - (the) two hosts| التقتا - which met -| فئة - one group| تقاتل - fighting| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وأخرى - and another| كافرة - disbelievers.| يرونهم - They were seeing them| مثليهم - twice of them| رأي - with the sight| العين - (of) their eyes.| والله - And Allah| يؤيد - supports| بنصره - with His help| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لعبرة - surely (is) a lesson| لأولي - for the owners| الأبصار - (of) vision.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:103] | La tudrikuhu al-absaru wahuwayudriku al-absara wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru | لا تدركه الأبصار وهو يدرك الأبصار وهو اللطيف الخبير لاَّ تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ | |||||

| 3 [14:42] | Wala tahsabanna Allahaghafilan AAamma yaAAmalu alththalimoonainnama yu-akhkhiruhum liyawmin tashkhasu feehial-absaru | ولا تحسبن الله غافلا عما يعمل الظالمون إنما يؤخرهم ليوم تشخص فيه الأبصار وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تحسبن - think| الله - (that) Allah| غافلا - (is) unaware| عما - of what| يعمل - do| الظالمون - the wrongdoers.| إنما - Only| يؤخرهم - He gives them respite| ليوم - to a Day| تشخص - will stare| فيه - in it| الأبصار - the eyes.| | ||||||
| 4 [22:46] | Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fatakoonalahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanunyasmaAAoona biha fa-innaha la taAAmaal-absaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allateefee alssudoori | أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فتكون لهم قلوب يعقلون بها أو آذان يسمعون بها فإنها لا تعمى الأبصار ولكن تعمى القلوب التي في الصدور أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ | |||||

| 6 [33:10] | Ith jaookum min fawqikum waminasfala minkum wa-ith zaghati al-absaruwabalaghati alquloobu alhanajira watathunnoonabiAllahi alththunoona | إذ جاءوكم من فوقكم ومن أسفل منكم وإذ زاغت الأبصار وبلغت القلوب الحناجر وتظنون بالله الظنونا إِذْ جَاؤُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا | |||||

| 7 [38:63] | Attakhathnahum sikhriyyan am zaghatAAanhumu al-absaru | أتخذناهم سخريا أم زاغت عنهم الأبصار أَتَّخَذْنَاهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْأَبْصَارُ | |||||

| 8 [59:2] | Huwa allathee akhraja allatheenakafaroo min ahli alkitabi min diyarihim li-awwalialhashri ma thanantum an yakhrujoo wathannooannahum maniAAatuhum husoonuhum mina Allahifaatahumu Allahu min haythu lam yahtasiboowaqathafa fee quloobihimu alrruAAba yukhriboonabuyootahum bi-aydeehim waaydee almu/mineena faiAAtabiroo yaolee al-absari | هو الذي أخرج الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب من ديارهم لأول الحشر ما ظننتم أن يخرجوا وظنوا أنهم مانعتهم حصونهم من الله فأتاهم الله من حيث لم يحتسبوا وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب يخربون بيوتهم بأيديهم وأيدي المؤمنين فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أخرج - expelled| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Scripture| من - from| ديارهم - their homes| لأول - at (the) first| الحشر - gathering.| ما - Not| ظننتم - you think| أن - that| يخرجوا - they would leave,| وظنوا - and they thought| أنهم - that [they]| مانعتهم - would defend them| حصونهم - their fortresses| من - against| الله - Allah.| فأتاهم - But came to them| الله - Allah| من - from| حيث - where| لم - not| يحتسبوا - they expected,| وقذف - and He cast| في - into| قلوبهم - their hearts| الرعب - [the] terror,| يخربون - they destroyed| بيوتهم - their houses| بأيديهم - with their hands| وأيدي - and the hands| المؤمنين - (of) the believers.| فاعتبروا - So take a lesson,| يا - O| أولي - O those endowed| الأبصار - (with) insight!| | ||||||
