| 1 [3:147] | Wama kana qawlahum illaan qaloo rabbana ighfir lana thunoobanawa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamanawaonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena |  وما كان قولهم إلا أن قالوا ربنا اغفر لنا ذنوبنا وإسرافنا في أمرنا وثبت أقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرينوَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ ربَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - were| قولهم - their words| إلا - except| أن - that| قالوا - they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| اغفر - forgive| لنا - for us| ذنوبنا - our sins| وإسرافنا - and our excesses| في - in| أمرنا - our affairs| وثبت - and make firm| أقدامنا - our feet| وانصرنا - and give us victory| على - over| القوم - [the people]| الكافرين - the disbelievers."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:151] | Qala rabbi ighfir lee wali-akheewaadkhilna fee rahmatika waanta arhamu alrrahimeena | قال رب اغفر لي ولأخي وأدخلنا في رحمتك وأنت أرحم الراحمين قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| ولأخي - and my brother| وأدخلنا - and admit us| في - into| رحمتك - Your Mercy,| وأنت - for You| أرحم - (are) the Most Merciful| الراحمين - (of) the merciful."| | ||||||
| 3 [14:41] | Rabbana ighfir lee waliwalidayyawalilmu/mineena yawma yaqoomu alhisabu | ربنا اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين يوم يقوم الحساب رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| ولوالدي - and my parents| وللمؤمنين - and the believers| يوم - (on) the Day| يقوم - will (be) established| الحساب - the account."| | ||||||
| 4 [23:118] | Waqul rabbi ighfir wairhamwaanta khayru alrrahimeena | وقل رب اغفر وارحم وأنت خير الراحمين وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| رب - "My Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| وارحم - and have mercy,| وأنت - and You| خير - (are the) Best| الراحمين - (of) those who show mercy."| | ||||||
| 5 [38:35] | Qala rabbi ighfir lee wahab leemulkan la yanbaghee li-ahadin min baAAdee innakaanta alwahhabu | قال رب اغفر لي وهب لي ملكا لا ينبغي لأحد من بعدي إنك أنت الوهاب قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّنْ بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| وهب - and grant| لي - me| ملكا - a kingdom,| لا - not| ينبغي - (will) belong| لأحد - to anyone| من - after me.| بعدي - after me.| إنك - Indeed, You| أنت - [You]| الوهاب - (are) the Bestower."| | ||||||
| 6 [59:10] | Waallatheena jaoo minbaAAdihim yaqooloona rabbana ighfir lana wali-ikhwaninaallatheena sabaqoona bial-eemani walatajAAal fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoorabbana innaka raoofun raheemun | والذين جاءوا من بعدهم يقولون ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان ولا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا للذين آمنوا ربنا إنك رءوف رحيم وَالَّذِينَ جَاؤُوا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيْمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| جاءوا - came| من - from| بعدهم - after them| يقولون - they say,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| اغفر - forgive| لنا - us| ولإخواننا - and our brothers| الذين - who| سبقونا - preceded us| بالإيمان - in faith,| ولا - and (do) not| تجعل - put| في - in| قلوبنا - our hearts| غلا - any rancor| للذين - towards those who| آمنوا - believed.| ربنا - Our Lord,| إنك - indeed You| رءوف - (are) Full of Kindness,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
| 7 [71:28] | Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayyawaliman dakhala baytiya mu/minan walilmu/mineena waalmu/minatiwala tazidi alththalimeena illatabaran | رب اغفر لي ولوالدي ولمن دخل بيتي مؤمنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات ولا تزد الظالمين إلا تبارا رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا | |||||
| Words | |رب - My Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| ولوالدي - and my parents,| ولمن - and whoever| دخل - enters| بيتي - my house -| مؤمنا - a believer| وللمؤمنين - and the believing men| والمؤمنات - and the believing women.| ولا - And (do) not| تزد - increase| الظالمين - the wrongdoers| إلا - except| تبارا - (in) destruction."| | ||||||
