| 1 [2:68] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya qala innahu yaqooluinnaha baqaratun la faridun walabikrun AAawanun bayna thalika faifAAaloo matu/maroona |  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما هي قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة لا فارض ولا بكر عوان بين ذلك فافعلوا ما تؤمرونقَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ فَارِضٌ وَّلاَ بِكْرٌ عَوَانٌ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ فَافْعَلُواْ مَا تُؤْمَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| هي - it (is)."| قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - "[Indeed] it| بقرة - (is) a cow| لا - not| فارض - old| ولا - and not| بكر - young,| عوان - middle aged| بين - between| ذلك - that,"| فافعلوا - so do| ما - what| تؤمرون - you are commanded."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:69] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma lawnuha qala innahuyaqoolu innaha baqaratun safrao faqiAAunlawnuha tasurru alnnathireena | قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما لونها قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة صفراء فاقع لونها تسر الناظرين قَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنََّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِـعٌ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النَّاظِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| لونها - (is) its color."| قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - '[Indeed] it is| بقرة - a cow| صفراء - yellow,| فاقع - bright| لونها - (in) its color,| تسر - pleasing| الناظرين - (to) those who see (it).'"| | ||||||
| 3 [2:71] | Qala innahu yaqoolu innahabaqaratun la thaloolun tutheeru al-arda walatasqee alhartha musallamatun la shiyata feehaqaloo al-ana ji/ta bialhaqqi fathabahoohawama kadoo yafAAaloona | قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة لا ذلول تثير الأرض ولا تسقي الحرث مسلمة لا شية فيها قالوا الآن جئت بالحق فذبحوها وما كادوا يفعلون قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ الْأَرْضَ وَلاَ تَسْقِي الْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لاَّ شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُواْ الْآنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - "[Indeed] it| بقرة - (is) a cow| لا - not| ذلول - trained| تثير - to plough| الأرض - the earth,| ولا - and not| تسقي - water| الحرث - the field;| مسلمة - sound,| لا - no| شية - blemish| فيها - in it."| قالوا - They said,| الآن - "Now| جئت - you have come| بالحق - with the truth."| فذبحوها - So they slaughtered it,| وما - and not| كادوا - they were near| يفعلون - (to) doing (it).| | ||||||
| 4 [9:99] | Wamina al-aAArabi man yu/minu biAllahiwaalyawmi al-akhiri wayattakhithu mayunfiqu qurubatin AAinda Allahi wasalawatialrrasooli ala innaha qurbatun lahumsayudkhiluhumu Allahu fee rahmatihi inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun | ومن الأعراب من يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ويتخذ ما ينفق قربات عند الله وصلوات الرسول ألا إنها قربة لهم سيدخلهم الله في رحمته إن الله غفور رحيم وَمِنَ الأَعْرَابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِندَ اللّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ أَلاَ إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّهُمْ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - But among| الأعراب - the bedouins| من - (is he) who,| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| ويتخذ - and takes| ما - what| ينفق - he spends| قربات - (as) means of nearness| عند - with| الله - Allah| وصلوات - and blessings| الرسول - (of) the Messenger.| ألا - Behold!| إنها - Indeed, it| قربة - (is) a means of nearness| لهم - for them.| سيدخلهم - Allah will admit them| الله - Allah will admit them| في - to| رحمته - His Mercy.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 5 [15:60] | Illa imraatahu qaddarna innahalamina alghabireena | إلا امرأته قدرنا إنها لمن الغابرين إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| امرأته - his wife."| قدرنا - We have decreed| إنها - that she| لمن - (is) surely of| الغابرين - those who remain behind.| | ||||||
| 6 [23:100] | LaAAallee aAAmalu salihanfeema taraktu kalla innaha kalimatun huwa qa-iluhawamin wara-ihim barzakhun ila yawmi yubAAathoona | لعلي أعمل صالحا فيما تركت كلا إنها كلمة هو قائلها ومن ورائهم برزخ إلى يوم يبعثون لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لعلي - That I may| أعمل - do| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| فيما - in what| تركت - I left behind."| كلا - No!| إنها - Indeed, it| كلمة - (is) a word| هو - he| قائلها - speaks it,| ومن - and before them| ورائهم - and before them| برزخ - (is) a barrier| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| يبعثون - they are resurrected.| | ||||||
| 7 [25:66] | Innaha saat mustaqarran wamuqaman | إنها ساءت مستقرا ومقاما إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا | |||||
| Words | |إنها - Indeed, it| ساءت - (is) an evil| مستقرا - abode| ومقاما - and resting place."| | ||||||
| 8 [27:43] | Wasaddaha ma kanattaAAbudu min dooni Allahi innaha kanat minqawmin kafireena | وصدها ما كانت تعبد من دون الله إنها كانت من قوم كافرين وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وصدها - And has averted her| ما - what| كانت - she used (to)| تعبد - worship| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah.| إنها - Indeed, she| كانت - was| من - from| قوم - a people| كافرين - who disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 9 [31:16] | Ya bunayya innaha in takumithqala habbatin min khardalin fatakun fee sakhratinaw fee alssamawati aw fee al-ardiya/ti biha Allahu inna Allaha lateefunkhabeerun | يا بني إنها إن تك مثقال حبة من خردل فتكن في صخرة أو في السماوات أو في الأرض يأت بها الله إن الله لطيف خبير يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| بني - "O my son!| إنها - Indeed it,| إن - if| تك - it be| مثقال - (the) weight| حبة - (of) a grain| من - of| خردل - a mustard seed,| فتكن - and it be| في - in| صخرة - a rock| أو - or| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| أو - or| في - in| الأرض - the earth| يأت - Allah will bring it forth.| بها - Allah will bring it forth.| الله - Allah will bring it forth.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لطيف - (is) All-Subtle,| خبير - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 10 [37:64] | Innaha shajaratun takhruju fee aslialjaheemi | إنها شجرة تخرج في أصل الجحيم إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ | |||||

| 13 [77:32] | Innaha tarmee bishararin kaalqasri | إنها ترمي بشرر كالقصر إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ | |||||
