| 1 [7:189] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum min nafsinwahidatin wajaAAala minha zawjaha liyaskunailayha falamma taghashshaha hamalathamlan khafeefan famarrat bihi falamma athqalatdaAAawa Allaha rabbahuma la-in ataytanasalihan lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena |  هو الذي خلقكم من نفس واحدة وجعل منها زوجها ليسكن إليها فلما تغشاها حملت حملا خفيفا فمرت به فلما أثقلت دعوا الله ربهما لئن آتيتنا صالحا لنكونن من الشاكرينهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّاهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلاً خَفِيفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِ فَلَمَّا أَثْقَلَت دَّعَوَا اللّهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ آتَيْتَنَا صَالِحاً لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| نفس - a soul,| واحدة - single| وجعل - and made| منها - from it| زوجها - its mate| ليسكن - that he might live| إليها - with her.| فلما - And when| تغشاها - he covers her,| حملت - she carries| حملا - a burden| خفيفا - light| فمرت - and continues| به - with it.| فلما - But when| أثقلت - she grows heavy,| دعوا - they both invoke| الله - Allah,| ربهما - their Lord,| لئن - "If| آتيتنا - You give us| صالحا - a righteous (child),| لنكونن - surely we will be| من - among| الشاكرين - the thankful."| | ||||||
| 2 [19:17] | Faittakhathat min doonihim hijabanfaarsalna ilayha roohanafatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan | فاتخذت من دونهم حجابا فأرسلنا إليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فاتخذت - Then she took| من - from them| دونهم - from them| حجابا - a screen.| فأرسلنا - Then We sent| إليها - to her| روحنا - Our Spirit| فتمثل - then he assumed for her the likeness| لها - then he assumed for her the likeness| بشرا - (of) a man| سويا - well-proportioned.| | ||||||
| 3 [30:21] | Wamin ayatihi an khalaqa lakummin anfusikum azwajan litaskunoo ilayha wajaAAalabaynakum mawaddatan warahmatan inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yatafakkaroona | ومن آياته أن خلق لكم من أنفسكم أزواجا لتسكنوا إليها وجعل بينكم مودة ورحمة إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| أن - (is) that| خلق - He created| لكم - for you| من - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| أزواجا - mates| لتسكنوا - that you may find tranquility| إليها - in them;| وجعل - and He placed| بينكم - between you| مودة - love| ورحمة - and mercy.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 4 [62:11] | Wa-itha raaw tijaratan awlahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qa-imanqul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijaratiwaAllahu khayru alrraziqeena | وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما قل ما عند الله خير من اللهو ومن التجارة والله خير الرازقين وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأوا - they saw| تجارة - a transaction| أو - or| لهوا - a sport,| انفضوا - they rushed| إليها - to it| وتركوك - and left you| قائما - standing.| قل - Say,| ما - "What| عند - (is) with| الله - Allah| خير - (is) better| من - than| اللهو - the sport| ومن - and from| التجارة - (any) transaction.| والله - And Allah| خير - (is the) Best| الرازقين - (of) the Providers."| | ||||||
