| 1 [2:41] | Waaminoo bima anzaltu musaddiqanlima maAAakum wala takoonoo awwala kafirinbihi wala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamananqaleelan wa-iyyaya faittaqooni |  وآمنوا بما أنزلت مصدقا لما معكم ولا تكونوا أول كافر به ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا وإياي فاتقونوَآمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً وَّإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وآمنوا - And believe| بما - in what| أنزلت - I have sent down| مصدقا - confirming| لما - that which| معكم - (is) with you,| ولا - and (do) not| تكونوا - be| أول - (the) first| كافر - disbeliever| به - of it.| ولا - And (do) not| تشتروا - exchange| بآياتي - My Signs (for)| ثمنا - a price| قليلا - small,| وإياي - and Me Alone| فاتقون - fear [Me].| | ||||||
| 2 [3:53] | Rabbana amanna bimaanzalta waittabaAAna alrrasoola faoktubnamaAAa alshshahideena | ربنا آمنا بما أنزلت واتبعنا الرسول فاكتبنا مع الشاهدين رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord,| آمنا - we believe[d]| بما - in what| أنزلت - You revealed| واتبعنا - and we follow[ed]| الرسول - the Messenger,| فاكتبنا - then write us| مع - among| الشاهدين - the witnesses."| | ||||||
| 3 [3:65] | Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoonafee ibraheema wama onzilati alttawratuwaal-injeelu illa min baAAdihi afalataAAqiloona | يا أهل الكتاب لم تحاجون في إبراهيم وما أنزلت التوراة والإنجيل إلا من بعده أفلا تعقلون يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنزِلَتِ التَّورَاةُ وَالْإِنجِيلُ إِلاَّ مِن بَعْدِهِ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| 4 [9:86] | Wa-itha onzilat sooratun an aminoobiAllahi wajahidoo maAAa rasoolihi ista/thanakaoloo alttawli minhum waqaloo tharnanakun maAAa alqaAAideena | وإذا أنزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَجَاهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُواْ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| أنزلت - was revealed| سورة - a Surah| أن - that;| آمنوا - believe| بالله - in Allah| وجاهدوا - and strive| مع - with| رسوله - His Messenger,| استأذنك - ask your permission| أولو - (the) men| الطول - (of) wealth| منهم - among them| وقالوا - and said,| ذرنا - "Leave us,| نكن - (to) be| مع - with| القاعدين - those who sit."| | ||||||
| 5 [9:124] | Wa-itha ma onzilat sooratunfaminhum man yaqoolu ayyukum zadat-hu hathihi eemananfaamma allatheena amanoo fazadat-humeemanan wahum yastabshiroona | وإذا ما أنزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذه إيمانا فأما الذين آمنوا فزادتهم إيمانا وهم يستبشرون وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَـذِهِ إِيمَانًا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَزَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And whenever| ما - And whenever| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah,| فمنهم - among them| من - (are some) who| يقول - say,| أيكم - "Which of you| زادته - (has) increased [it]| هذه - (by) this| إيمانا - (in) faith?"| فأما - As for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| فزادتهم - then it has increased them| إيمانا - (in) faith| وهم - and they| يستبشرون - rejoice.| | ||||||
| 6 [9:127] | Wa-itha ma onzilat sooratunnathara baAAduhum ila baAAdinhal yarakum min ahadin thumma insarafoo sarafaAllahu quloobahum bi-annahum qawmun la yafqahoona | وإذا ما أنزلت سورة نظر بعضهم إلى بعض هل يراكم من أحد ثم انصرفوا صرف الله قلوبهم بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ نَّظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ هَلْ يَرَاكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ ثُمَّ انصَرَفُواْ صَرَفَ اللّهُ قُلُوبَهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُون | |||||

| 7 [28:24] | Fasaqa lahuma thumma tawallaila alththilli faqala rabbiinnee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun | فسقى لهما ثم تولى إلى الظل فقال رب إني لما أنزلت إلي من خير فقير فَسَقَى لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّى إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ | |||||

| 8 [28:87] | Wala yasuddunnaka AAan ayatiAllahi baAAda ith onzilat ilayka waodAAu ilarabbika wala takoonanna mina almushrikeena | ولا يصدنك عن آيات الله بعد إذ أنزلت إليك وادع إلى ربك ولا تكونن من المشركين وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ وَادْعُ إِلَى رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||

| 9 [47:20] | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoolawla nuzzilat sooratun fa-itha onzilat sooratun muhkamatunwathukira feeha alqitalu raayta allatheenafee quloobihim maradun yanthuroona ilayka natharaalmaghshiyyi AAalayhi mina almawti faawla lahum | ويقول الذين آمنوا لولا نزلت سورة فإذا أنزلت سورة محكمة وذكر فيها القتال رأيت الذين في قلوبهم مرض ينظرون إليك نظر المغشي عليه من الموت فأولى لهم وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَإِذَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَأَوْلَى لَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ويقول - And say| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| لولا - "Why not| نزلت - has been revealed| سورة - a Surah?"| فإذا - But when| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah| محكمة - precise| وذكر - and is mentioned| فيها - in it| القتال - the fighting,| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who,| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts,| مرض - (is) a disease| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you -| نظر - a look| المغشي - (of) one fainting| عليه - (of) one fainting| من - from| الموت - the death.| فأولى - But more appropriate| لهم - for them| | ||||||
