| 1 [2:265] | Wamathalu allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumuibtighaa mardati Allahi watathbeetan minanfusihim kamathali jannatin birabwatin asabaha wabilunfaatat okulaha diAAfayni fa-in lam yusibhawabilun fatallun waAllahu bimataAAmaloona baseerun |  ومثل الذين ينفقون أموالهم ابتغاء مرضات الله وتثبيتا من أنفسهم كمثل جنة بربوة أصابها وابل فآتت أكلها ضعفين فإن لم يصبها وابل فطل والله بما تعملون بصيروَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ وَتَثْبِيتًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةٍ بِرَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌ فَآتَتْ أُكُلَهَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَإِن لَّمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلٌّ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومثل - And (the) example| الذين - (of) those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| ابتغاء - seeking| مرضات - (the) pleasure| الله - (of) Allah,| وتثبيتا - and certainty| من - from| أنفسهم - their (inner) souls,| كمثل - (is) like| جنة - a garden| بربوة - on a height,| أصابها - fell on it| وابل - heavy rain| فآتت - so it yielded| أكلها - its harvest| ضعفين - double.| فإن - Then if| لم - (does) not| يصبها - fall (on) it| وابل - heavy rain,| فطل - then a drizzle.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 2 [13:35] | Mathalu aljannati allatee wuAAidaalmuttaqoona tajree min tahtiha al-anharuokuluha da-imun wathilluhatilka AAuqba allatheena ittaqaw waAAuqba alkafireenaalnnaru | مثل الجنة التي وعد المتقون تجري من تحتها الأنهار أكلها دائم وظلها تلك عقبى الذين اتقوا وعقبى الكافرين النار مَّثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٌ وِظِلُّهَا تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ وَّعُقْبَى الْكَافِرِينَ النَّارُ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - The example| الجنة - of Paradise| التي - which| وعد - (is) promised| المتقون - (to) the righteous,| تجري - flows| من - from| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers.| أكلها - Its food| دائم - (is) everlasting,| وظلها - and its shade.| تلك - This| عقبى - (is the) end| الذين - of those who| اتقوا - (are) righteous,| وعقبى - and (the) end| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers| النار - (is) the Fire.| | ||||||
| 3 [14:25] | Tu/tee okulaha kulla heeninbi-ithni rabbiha wayadribu Allahual-amthala lilnnasi laAAallahum yatathakkaroona | تؤتي أكلها كل حين بإذن ربها ويضرب الله الأمثال للناس لعلهم يتذكرون تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا وَيَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |تؤتي - Giving| أكلها - its fruit| كل - all| حين - time| بإذن - by the permission| ربها - of its Lord.| ويضرب - And Allah sets forth| الله - And Allah sets forth| الأمثال - the examples| للناس - for mankind| لعلهم - so that they may| يتذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:33] | Kilta aljannatayni atat okulahawalam tathlim minhu shay-an wafajjarna khilalahumanaharan | كلتا الجنتين آتت أكلها ولم تظلم منه شيئا وفجرنا خلالهما نهرا كِلْتَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ آتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِمْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلاَلَهُمَا نَهَرًا | |||||
| Words | |كلتا - Each| الجنتين - (of) the two gardens| آتت - brought forth| أكلها - its produce| ولم - and not| تظلم - did wrong| منه - of it| شيئا - anything.| وفجرنا - And We caused to gush forth| خلالهما - within them| نهرا - a river.| | ||||||
