| 1 [7:116] | Qala alqoo falamma alqaw saharooaAAyuna alnnasi waistarhaboohum wajaoobisihrin AAatheemin |  قال ألقوا فلما ألقوا سحروا أعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءوا بسحر عظيمقَالَ أَلْقُوْاْ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْاْ سَحَرُواْ أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ألقوا - "Throw."| فلما - Then when| ألقوا - they threw,| سحروا - they bewitched| أعين - (the) eyes| الناس - (of) the people,| واسترهبوهم - and terrified them| وجاءوا - and came (up)| بسحر - with a magic| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:179] | Walaqad thara/na lijahannamakatheeran mina aljinni waal-insi lahum quloobun layafqahoona biha walahum aAAyunun la yubsiroonabiha walahum athanun la yasmaAAoona bihaola-ika kaal-anAAami bal hum adalluola-ika humu alghafiloona | ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس لهم قلوب لا يفقهون بها ولهم أعين لا يبصرون بها ولهم آذان لا يسمعون بها أولئك كالأنعام بل هم أضل أولئك هم الغافلون وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ آذَانٌ لاَّ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| ذرأنا - We have created| لجهنم - for Hell| كثيرا - many| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and men.| لهم - For them| قلوب - (are) hearts| لا - (but) not| يفقهون - they understand| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| أعين - (are) eyes| لا - (but) not| يبصرون - they see| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| آذان - (are) ears| لا - (but) not| يسمعون - they hear| بها - with them.| أولئك - Those| كالأنعام - (are) like cattle,| بل - nay| هم - they| أضل - (are) more astray.| أولئك - Those -| هم - they| الغافلون - (are) the heedless.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:195] | Alahum arjulun yamshoona biha amlahum aydin yabtishoona biha am lahum aAAyunun yubsiroonabiha am lahum athanun yasmaAAoona biha quliodAAoo shurakaakum thumma keedooni fala tunthirooni | ألهم أرجل يمشون بها أم لهم أيد يبطشون بها أم لهم أعين يبصرون بها أم لهم آذان يسمعون بها قل ادعوا شركاءكم ثم كيدون فلا تنظرون أَلَهُمْ أَرْجُلٌ يَمْشُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ أَيْدٍ يَبْطِشُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا قُلِ ادْعُواْ شُرَكَاءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلاَ تُنظِرُونِ | |||||
| Words | |ألهم - Are for them| أرجل - feet| يمشون - (to) walk| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| أيد - hands| يبطشون - (to) hold| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| أعين - eyes| يبصرون - (to) see| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| آذان - ears| يسمعون - (to) hear| بها - with [it]?| قل - Say,| ادعوا - "Call| شركاءكم - your partners,| ثم - then| كيدون - scheme against me| فلا - and (do) not| تنظرون - give me respite."| | ||||||
| 4 [21:61] | Qaloo fa/too bihi AAalaaAAyuni alnnasi laAAallahum yashhadoona | قالوا فأتوا به على أعين الناس لعلهم يشهدون قَالُوا فَأْتُوا بِهِ عَلَى أَعْيُنِ النَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| فأتوا - "Then bring| به - him| على - before| أعين - (the) eyes| الناس - (of) the people| لعلهم - so that they may| يشهدون - bear witness."| | ||||||
| 5 [25:74] | Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbanahab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatinaqurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman | والذين يقولون ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| هب - Grant| لنا - to us| من - from| أزواجنا - our spouses| وذرياتنا - and our offspring| قرة - comfort| أعين - (to) our eyes,| واجعلنا - and make us| للمتقين - for the righteous| إماما - a leader."| | ||||||
| 6 [32:17] | Fala taAAlamu nafsun maokhfiya lahum min qurrati aAAyunin jazaan bima kanooyaAAmaloona | فلا تعلم نفس ما أخفي لهم من قرة أعين جزاء بما كانوا يعملون فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
